He is horrific and unlicensed; from the very beginning, he had absolutely NO CLUE what he was doing. He is the WORST painter, handyman, worker - whatever he thinks he IS - EVER/ RUN, do not WALK from this person or use him. He will ruin your home! He has caused us THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars in repair damages! He did not do proper prep work and tried to take short cuts at every step. He painted over dirty walls, did not do as asked over and over. He painted closed doors to the patio (see the mess in pictures). Got over spray on doors, door handles, on our newly redone driveway. He made a complete mess of our property. He was supposed to patch the stucco where golf balls had hit the house and there as some damage - he did NOT, he painted over the holes. He used the wrong stucco mixture so it looks like crap and now has to be chipped off in the area he did patch. He wanted extra $$ to paint the trim, doors and woodwork by hand, and then turned around and sprayed it anyhow with a stucco sprayer - and it was so THICK that it will have to be stripped down and sanded. We have custom wood windows on our house and solid core wood doors that are a MESS! 3 painters so far have turned us down to repair his mess. Lawsuit filed! Don't let him do this to you! UPDATE: WE WON!!

Been meaning to leave a review for a while on Angie's list, but I no longer pay for that…read moresubscription. I'm glad I found his business here on yelp so I could leave a review. I've used this guy a few times over the past 2 years for some home projects I was unable to do myself. Also referred him to others and they loved his work as well... I've never had a problem with his work. He is very talkative, but I wouldn't say that's a bad thing. He likes to explain in detail the processes and steps so you can try to understand the work being done, which I think is a nice touch. Other handymen won't explain anything or go over stuff in such depth. I've had him do an exterior painting of the front of my house. Multi colored coat. I paint myself, but I'm too busy with work to take days off and do it myself. It's a lot of work for just 1 man and I don't have the time. He took all the steps that you should take to prep and complete the job. They pressure washed the house first to remove any dirt. They then proceeded to scrape, chip and sand off all cracked and broken wood chips. They covered the trims and windows etc to do the main part. Primed the house, and then applied the color I wanted (blue). They then removed the coverings off the trims and windows and primed and painted those (white). My home now stands out on the block. I've had him do some minor interior painting as well. Just one bedroom and some trim work. No paint got on the carpet which I was grateful for. He's done some patch work for me as well. Holes were covered and sanded smooth. Those I painted myself lol. The negative reviews I read on here just seem vindictive and very one sided. The only thing I'd agree with is that He has had spraybacks happen, and paint had gotten on things it shouldn't have. But there's no need to sand off the paint and redo the door handles and whole house lol. The paint literally wipes off With a wet sponge and some elbow grease. I know that it's water based paint, these things happen sometimes and it can easily be removed. So I didn't freak out or hold it against him because after it was all done, the paint was cleaned off so no harm no foul imo. He basically made extra work for himself, and nothing got damaged so no reason to fault him for it. He did get some paint droplets on the driveway. But once again, easily removed with a chisel and some pressure washing. And when I say he, I don't necessarily mean the owner bryce himself. He has a team of guys he employs to do the work with him. Sometimes it's their faults. All in all, I will continue to use his services for future jobs and refer him. He does damn good work, is a local business (which I love supporting locals), and doesn't overcharge for work done.

The good person he was 11 years ago (see prior Pam W 5 star review) is now a lying evading thief. My friend's experience was exactly like Bruce M's. I feel horrible for recommending him and causing such grief for my friend. Not only has he stolen my friend's money who pre-paid for new cabinet doors, he gave her fake excuses and false promises repeatedly over the past year promising he would never deceive her and would deliver the cabinet doors "this week". This week never happens over a whole year or hoping and waiting. Sadly, once he has your money, you won't hear from him anymore. It is shameful and despicable to steal money from a single woman in her 90's. Unless you call him from a number he doesn't recognize, he will not pick up the phone to respond.

We visited an received estimates from about 10 vendors before my in laws insisted we reach out to DK Kitchen as they had used them. We wanted basic white shaker cabinets. Bryan came over and took measurements and we spoke the same night to go over my estimates- I was impressed by how knowledgeable he was about kitchens and by his years of experience doing them. He took the time to answer our questions. He also made key stylistic recommendations that none of the other vendors recommended to me- these features (Quartz countertop instead of granite, single bowl deep sink, open shelving next to microwave) are some of my most favorite features of our new kitchen. Bryan sent us an estimate that was about 25% less than the company we almost signed with- we were sold!! His price was also about 50% less than our highest quote--really impressive pricing. We had our kitchen and counters installed over a 3 day period, 2 for the cabinets and 1 for the countertops. The workers arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves each day (broom, vacuum and all!) and left no mess. Bryan also came by each day to check on the progress. Some of the doors had little scratches on them and he immediately replaced them for us when I pointed it out. We also just recently asked him to send his guys to install the leftover Quartz and a vessel sink I purchased in our bathroom. This looks gorgeous! We recommend DK kitchen to anyone looking to remodel. The only thing I may mention is they don't seem to have a wide variety of stone (although they have great pricing!) and I might suggest you shop around for countertops. This doesn't warrant a removal of stars though IMO and I do love my Quartz. Good luck!
