He could have easily done it and taken our money and have us be disappointed but instead he was HONEST! That goes a long way in my book! If we ever need other handy things done I will be contacting this company again because clearly they have high morals when it comes to honesty...hard to find these days!

They had good availability, showed up a few minutes early and got the job done properly and efficiently. The cost of the services was more fair than a lot of the quotes I initially received from other people I contacted. Because of the pleasant experience that I had the first time I hired them to repaint a space in my salon as well as install a sink and cabinets. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. I was also able to get their assistance in putting together some of the equipment that I had for the room which was super helpful. In the future whether it's a larger job or something small I'll always be a loyal customer, it's nice to know that you have a company that is giving you excellent work at a fair price and is always on time and consistent and gets the job done with good long lasting results. Highly recommend!

The next day, about 1/2hr before the appt. window time, Ansel called to confirm the appt. He showed up at 12:25pm and after taking some measurements and inspecting the area, he gave his estimate. Very polite and professional guy, and friendly. His bid was straighforward, and actually was exactly the same as a contractor that the plumber we used recommended. After tossing the pros and cons betw. the 2 estimates, we decided to go with Ansel based on the reviews and that I like he is a no-nonsense and to the point kinda of contractor for the job. On the scheduled day, James called at 10am to let me know Ansel and his guys are on their way. Barely 10mins later, Ansel showed up with Roy and their helper, Justin. They got to work right away. Quick and efficient. Four hours later, they were done. Any debris was packed and haul-away in their truck. Paid him and off they go to their next job. Highly recommend.

I've asked neighbors for a handyman but what I really needed was a carpenter. I have received quotes that ranged from low to almost double the cost of what I paid West Home Service and decided to toss my faith at these guys. If you want detailed work, cleanliness and construction work done right, these are the people to call. I had spoken and worked with Ansel and Roy. They are super nice, their work is detailed and their prices are quite reasonable considering the travel time and number of people they will need to send over to get the work done quickly. If I have any work to be done in the future, I would definitely call them again.

I didn't check Yelp before I used Los Angeles Handyman this morning, and I am SO glad I didn't! I…read moreprobably would not have called given some of these cruddy reviews, but I came on here as soon as they left to write about how amazing they were to me today. My house was broken into while my family was away the last couple of days and when we arrived home this morning, everything was a wreck. It was absolutely horrible (as you can imagine). We don't have a regular handyman because my husband usually does those types of things, but we were so disheveled today that I just grabbed the phonebook and called the first # I found, which was another company. They told me they could send someone out in 2-3 DAYS! there was NO WAY I was going to wait that long, so I called the next #, which was Jeeves. Mark answered the phone and as I was explaining to him what happened I completely broke down- but he was so relaxed and assured me that he would send someone out within a half hour to have our locks changed, our door frame fixed (where they tried to break it down in the back door) and replace the windows that were shattered. I could not believe how helpful he was. He has someone else in the office move their entire schedule around so that they could help me and my family, which in itself is amazing, but the technician they sent out was incredibly sympathetic and wonderful. He was able to take care of everything for us in a few hours and, even though I feel completely violated, I know that my home and my family are secure. I am so thankful to the entire staff at Los Angeles Handyman for understanding how urgent my situation was and doing everything they could to help us. If I ever need anything again (hopefully it won;t be another situation like this) I will call them right away and I suggest to everyone else they do the same.

We were already a fan of the Brett Davis Band and had heard that his family had a painting business, so we just asked his advice on the quoting and he came in right where we needed. Brett's team got done in one week what we thought would take several weeks (or at least 2). The team was amazing and knew their stuff. The were also super communicative and didn't make a decision without consulting with us first. Each room they did turned out perfectly and they cleaned up everything as they went. We had some pretty tricky wood and plaster fixit jobs as well and they did each one without a hitch. We recommend Davis Painting 100% and also recommend Brett's many bands and awesome guitar playing and singing! Rock on, Brett!!
