I'm spoiled now. I can no longer eat the chicken sandwiches at a major chicken sandwich fast food chain. Draw your own conclusion here. The fried chicken sandwich at HCK is crispy, seasoned perfectly, and huge. Someone forgot the sauce with my sandwich (I asked for it on the side), so this time I just used the sauce that comes with the fries. The fries are crinkle cut, also crispy and seasoned and served with a sauce on the side. Straight to the point customer service. Restaurant was nice and quiet and food was ready in about 10-15 minutes :)

My first time here at HCK has been pleasant. Alexandria did her thing in the front, Cody the owner made the place home welcoming and Adrian did his thing in the kitchen. Definitely the best place to get great chicken sandwich with flavor. Will definitely be back.

We came to Lucianna's for brunch! Initial thoughts a…read morebeautiful, spacious venue. We made a reservation so we were sat upon arrival. I overheard another server telling the table next to us that the restaurant was not making mac and cheese until 4pm for dinner- so there would be no Mac and cheese for brunch. The customer was upset- and so were we. We definitely love trying Mac and cheese from different locations- we love cheese!! That was upsetting, especially when you're paying a nice amount of money. It seemed like the rest of the food was in stock so we leaned on that. The omelette station was great! They had a lot of variety and the chef was nice. She spoke to me in Spanish so I spruced up on my skills !! I did need to ask her for a plate because the plates were missing from the buffet and I wasn't sure where to find them. Finally someone from the staff brought plates- so I was in business! They had a hot bar on the wall near the omelette station which included fried chicken, bacon, eggs, potatoes, caramelized bananas, I might be missing something- it was pretty good and they kept it stocked most of the time. Made to order was shrimp and grits (not great or flavorful in my opinion) but the waffles were okay. The staff walked around with different cuts of meat and pineapple and shaved it off for us to try. I enjoyed the pineapple and the chicken wrapped in bacon... I just unwrapped it. I don't eat beef or pork, so yeah. They also had skirt steak and another type of pork. Babe tried all the meat and it looked like he enjoyed it, but he didn't really go back for seconds when they came around again. I thought it was good, but not excellent. I was just looking for something more for the experience. Then gentleman busser did a great job of clearing the plates and glasses to ensure we had space at the table and it looks neat and clean so we could continue to enjoy our food. The cold bar has a LOT of variety! But some of the food looked a little dried out like it's been left up there for a while. I knew it couldn't have been there for too long because brunch had only been open for about two hours prior to us arriving. Maybe pairing foods with the right environment to make them look and taste their best for a Buffet would make it look more appealing (example: the mussels- looked really dry, and I wanted to try them but it didn't look appetizing. Maybe put them in a sauce so they can look more appealing)... they might have tasted good but they looked old so I didn't try them. All the drinks were really good so that is def a win!! We tried the strawberry mimosa and the peach Bellini! Our server Chiquera did a wonderful job! She was super polite and attentive... she is the reason I would return to the restaurant. She also gave great suggestions! She gave me her specialty blueberry mojito - and it was fresh and just delicious! I think if the menu was reworked a bit to give the buffet food a fair chance and actually having what is on the menu available (Mac and cheese).. this place could do even better!

For about $18 (before tax and tip), you get three selections and two sides, plus biscuits and cornbread ,which is definitely a good value for the quantity of food. I chose the fried chicken, meatloaf, and chicken & dumplings with turnip greens and mashed potatoes. The restaurant was pretty empty, and while the country store area is always charming, the dining room itself felt very cold .....literally. I will say my waitress, Tamara, was amazing. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made sure my drinks stayed full. Truly top-tier service. As for the food, it just wasn't good. The fried chicken was crispy but had a strange, almost watery taste. The meatloaf was dry and not appetizing. The chicken & dumplings were the only decent item, but it's hard to mess that up. The greens and mashed potatoes tasted old, and even though the biscuits and cornbread were warm, they tasted like they'd been baked earlier and reheheated. The peach sweet tea was good, though. I usually come to Cracker Barrel for breakfast because their pancakes (with the crispy edges) are good. But lately, even breakfast hasn't tasted as fresh as I remember. It could just be this location, but overall the quality feels like it's declined. The value is there for the portion size, but the freshness and flavor just aren't. I hope it's not the brand overall, because years ago Cracker Barrel tasted hot, fresh, and truly country. This visit just felt old and reheated.

We passed the competition so Cracker Barrel was the winner this morning. The parking lot was full, or so we thought. My honey dropped me in the front to beat the line but to my surprise, we didn't wait, I was seated immediately. Our waitress was a little overwhelmed but she was nice. Second time around, the young man was starting week two on the job so he was learning. Food has been great and very affordable each time we've come. We've been here back to back weekends. It's that good! The prices can't be beat. Ambiance is casual. Love the store! Super cute! Let's Get Into It! Momma's Pancake Breakfast is my pick. Add Blueberries please! - SO Good! Grandma's Pancake Sampler is fantastic! He loves it! French Toast - it's a pass for me. Coffee is decent! One visit it was gross, second visit it was great. Overall, you can't beat the price, it's breakfast; a decent breakfast for an affordable price. Beats fast food. Definitely going to make this a monthly stop. He agrees.

The steak and cheese featured soggy bread with a side of limp lukewarm fries, and the jerk chicken was a poor imitation of jerk flavor, as the best word I could use to describe it was lifeless. On the bright side, the employee was friendly and the food was ready on time, so at least there was that. Unfortunately, this was a total miss so my first time will also be my last time.

Today I finally visited and was a bit disappointed to see the underwhelming interior where it is strictly carry out and cheap metal guest chairs to wait on while the food is prepared. But it's really about the food right?! Meh. It was very hit and miss. I ordered the (4) sliders with grilled onions. They were slightly charred which was nice, and they were juicy, but they could have been cooked a little more (they were like medium to medium well and I prefer well done - I should note they didn't ask how I preferred my burgers cooked). I also ordered their jumbo fried wings and picked sweet and sassy sauce. The sauce was tasty and the wings had a nice texture, but beyond the sauce the wings had a plain flavor suggesting they didn't season the wings before frying and then coating them with sauce. Overall the food was solid but not awe inspiring. I was less impressed with their cakes. I ordered a strawberry slice and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and wasn't bad at all. I've had much better, but it was edible and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. The strawberry cake however was dry and grainy. Perhaps it was old. It was definitely a waste of $7.99! On the plus side the employee was friendly and nice, so there's that!

These are fantastic and have to be house-made. They are so flaky and delicious! Our party of 3 sampled the trio appetizers with spinach dip, chicken tenders, and cheese bites. All were excellent! The chips light and crispy. The spinach dip was creamy. The cheese bites were great. The fried chicken tenders had an amazing light and crunchy coating. I'm picky with fried foods and this place is top notch. The battered foods don't feel greasy and have a great crunch. The homemade ranch and honey mustard dressings were a great accompaniment. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The sides were perfect. The chicken fried steak had that great crunchy coating. The steak would have been a little better if the meat had been pounded a little thinner, but was still okay. My friend had a Caesar salad that was too heavy on the dressing, so recommend you order your dressing on the side if you get a salad. The facilities were clean, but I did notice a few issues that needed attention. A broke stall lock and a tile falling off the wall. Our server was fantastic. There was plenty of parking out front. I enjoyed this spot. A great place to eat.

The honey butter croissants are my favorite and you receive them complimentary at the start of your meal. On the latest visit, our server forgot but when asked, she boxed a fresh order up to go. I appreciate her for acknowledging the oversight and immediately making it right. The non-alcoholic drinks have add in options but I've found the syrup to be overpowering and optional. Sign up for their emails if you want to receive notices of any promotions they have as well as a birthday freebie. Subject to change so read the offer carefully. There is booth seating, a bar and they do have alcohol based drinks. This is a good spot if you want to grab and go, have a date night, group gathering and solo dining. No automatic gratuity is added but the young adults do a great job and tipping appropriately is encouraged. I'd dine here again and I look forward to exploring more of their menu.
