Quite the antique store on the main street. For some reason, it didn't really feel like an antique store, but more like a resale shop. Perhaps because HNP has vintage clothing in the back -- some fun hats from the 40s and 50s, and all nicely displayed. I was so tempted to buy one of the hats because it reminded me of one my grandma used to wear.
In some shops, it can seem like the dust takes over and diminishes the fun in searching. That didn't seem to be the case here. I noticed plenty of tables and chairs and general knicknacks and all were in great shape and I didn't feel like I had dust and dirt clinging to my hands when I left.
The owners were sharing a laugh about not "seeing" everything because they look at it every day; so, if someone asks for something specific they draw a blank. I get it and I'm not working in an antique store. Welcome to normal. read more
