The young woman who opened up was all smiles and let us right in. The store is full of treasures. From different brands of clothing, jewellery, art, knick knacks, to vegan hand made soaps. I wish I had taken pictures inside because the interior is beautiful. We found out that they have put in a lot of time into bringing the historic building to current state. The building used to be the Bijou Theatre which was the biggest silent theater around. There are beautifully restored posters that were found in the ceiling on the place now on display on the walls. What might set them apart is the quality of the items they sell. Everything I saw was well-cared for. It's not a junk store but because of the number of things they have here, it can look junky. I'm sure there's a method to how the store is laid out, but some sections blur the lines and that means you really will be on a treasure hunt. It doesn't matter though because it's a fun store to browse. It's cash-only business, so that helps keep costs under control, but does require planning if your preference is using plastic to buy. The employees are very nice and will give you tidbits of information or background on some of the things you purchase.

Gal at front desk was very friendly. Loved the kitty! Most prices were outrageous! We are thrifters so that was a real shock. Our group picked up several things with a $100 price tag. We all agreed that half price days would make it much more realistic. They had a buy one get one free on tshirts but none of us were interested in any tshirts. They had a good selection of clothing, just very pricey. We would visit again but not unless they change the purse policy. Maybe cameras vs violating my right to carry my purse into a store would be better??
