It was super busy when we went in there but was amazing! The store just felt very welcoming and homey. Didn't look through the whole store due to the fact of it being packed but we got ice cream and it was amazing! We tried their limited time fudge brownie waffle cone and had a wonderful time. The ice cream was delicious and they will let you get 2 flavors with a double scoop which most places don't! Adorable shop with everything from basic grocery essentials to one of a kind souvenirs. Adorable shop would 100% recommend. They have wonderful staff and an accessible building, I was on crutches and it was easy to get in and out. Very cute stop, great coffee and baked goods. The bathroom is tiny but not a problem for us.

In search of coffee on a holiday weekend, a shop otherwise closed on Sunday was a beacon. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and found a general store. A small but very well-stocked general store of dry goods, local produce fishing and camping supplies and then an ice cream and coffee shop in the back of the store. It was perfect. There was a steady stream of people in the store, both locals waiting for the parade to start, and nearby campers looking for unexpected gifts or trying to replace a lost item. The coffee was good; the people were friendly; and this is a must-visit stop for finding a touristy gift, or some local goods, or an eye-opening cup of coffee. A quaint and convenient little stop in the curiously named town of Tensleep. With plenty of camping/lodging in the area, and a good looking restaurant across the street you can fulfill all of your needs right here. The shop itself has a lot of camping, hiking, and outdoors gear. The proximity to climbing, nature, and beautiful vistas in the Bighorn National Forest is what brings them most of their customers and the higher prices show that they can take full advantage of that fact. Yet it exists on the cusp and interlacing of the modern age environmentalist outdoorsy folks and the tried-and-true hardworking ranchers of the surrounding fields and hills. In back, you can find the cafe with a great selection of teas, coffees, and lighter eats. I had a bowl of lentil/split pea soup to pair with my tea and spent some time chatting with one of the baristas and flipping through photos from my travels in the area. It was an easy place to relax. Local hint: the tiniest bathroom I have ever seen in America is itself worthy of a visit. read more

They have a small selection of rock climbing supplies (tape, chalk, local guidebooks) available for visiting climbers, along with general supplies, fresh produce, a coffee bar and fresh baked goods. The huckleberry ice cream did not disappoint. Tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. read more

Charming roadside stop. We stopped to shop for Ten Sleep tchotchkes and to grab a coffee. Ended up with a Ten Sleep hat, a couple postcards, and a decent (not excellent) cup of coffee for the road. Nice folks inside with a hometown feel. Happy to support this little town through this venue. read more
