The museum had tons of items that shows what a general store, a newspaper office, a bank, a blacksmith shop, and many other examples of life in the late 1800s. The building is very deceiving because it has a full basement. It took is over 2 hours to go through the entire museum. We were all impressed with the amount of items on loan from local residents. It is obvious that the community is very supportive of the museum. They have a large amount of the museum dedicated to the armed forces and the local contributions of individuals and families.

He said the moccasins I was ready to purchase were from the local area however a tag inside the moccasins said "Yakama Mocs" on the inside of one of them. They came from the Yakima Tribe so they're not authentic to Montana at all. Look at your pieces very carefully. Another piece said from "Katie's Antique Mall" so you're not buying pieces authentic to Montana Native tribes at all. Yet the owner is pricing these pieces like he knows exactly where they came from. There is a hodgepodge from all different places and not necessarily for Montana so in my opinion, it's a crapshoot! Also, the place looks very run down on the outside and looks like it's been closed up for several months The gate stays closed even during business hours. You have to call the owner and he'll tell you to go ahead and open up the gate and he'll meet you at the shop. That's how it is here.

She gave us fair trade-in value on our bikes and installed extra items we bought there for us. I can't wait to go back for tune ups just to support her more. She does it all and she does it well.
