Booked first appt after birth with ease. Every step of the way after that has been difficult & unprofessional. They never answer the phones. I'm not being dramatic, not once in eight months have I been able to get anyone on the phone. They advise to book within the portal. ANYTIME I submit a request, it's a delayed response. 8 days ago, I called, no answer. Sent a portal message explaining it was an urgent medical matter that I felt she needed seen for that day. The contacted me back today, 8 days later. I 10/10 do not recommend. If you prefer a more holistic approach with peds that don't push vaccinations, there are other much better offices than this.

Aside from the case manager treating me bad I called to confirm my mother's must make appointment and someone answered. I expressed my concern and was put on hold. I wasn't put on hold and I hear EVERYTHING the nurse or whomever say terrible things about me and she figured out that the phone was not on the hanger yet she hung up without acknowledging I heard every word and just hung up. I called back and there was no answer. The care. I'll give a 5 just because my mother has been treated right. But as far as giving information and being polite to family members whom has loved 1s in the facility and showing respect. Just from my experience. They get a ZERO in my book. While recently coming to the surgery center for my husband's procedure, I experienced just that. The staff were attentive to us while my husband waited to go back for his surgery, and they even kept me updated with his progress by text which was very reassuring. I didn't know that would be an option. Before surgery, my husband's surgeon even said a quick prayer for us. Because we are religious, it really meant a lot to us that he did. At every appointment, there was at least a 30-40 minute wait. The doctor knows the job incredibly well. However, this doctor needs to work on the communication skills. This clinic charges $15 per child for medical records, even when you pick them up. I get the impression it's an exit fee. In November, 2019, Dr. Wyant, and the entire office, moved from the Georgetown Medical Plaza to Marsh Road in Intech Park off of West 71st Street. Dr. Wyant, and group, is now with the Optum Network. Dr. Wyant has been my Primary Care Physicians (PCP) for many, many years and I still highly recommend him. He has absorbed some retiring physicians patients so his wait time has increased but I take that into consideration on my personal calendar and scheduling. He's so worth it since he gives all his patients the necessary time while still being efficient and productive. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. The new location sets back off Marsh Road, is a one level building and has ample parking. As you enter through the automatic sliding doors you're directly standing in the lobby. The same smiling faces you knew at the old office greet you as you enter. The charming office waiting room is large, brightly lite and I personally enjoyed the new comfortable chairs. The convenient internal lab was relocated with the office so no need to find a new lab for lab orders from your doctor. The new lab is much larger than the old closet size lab. Just remember this lab is for in-house Optum doctor's orders only. The new location is closer for some and farther for others but honestly only 10-15 minutes from the old office off Georgetown Road. Easy on/off access off 465 onto West 71st Street exit.
