No need to pay a lot of money for healthy foods. I also like their bakery section... especially their ciabatta bread. So good! It's cheap and you won't be disappointed. One last thing.. they're open for 24 hours! I've been here at odd hours and it's really nice to have a place to shop all throughout the day. Parking is plenty and it's in a quiet spot in Urbana. Not sure how Schnucks was in the past, but I know I'll be doing my grocery shopping there.

I wanna be very honest about this: I'll recognize the excellence in customer service their…read moreemployees have displayed, and meanwhile point out why this location's CAR WASH in particular fails to do its job. In order to redeem a car wash I prepaid prior to my visit, I stopped by a total of 11 times and made 4 phone calls just to inquire the status of the car wash. The employees had been consistently polite and helpful, but were unable to respond with anything but "no, the car wash is down." And there were a variety of ways to turn customers away: "it's down and we've called somebody to come to fix it", "it's fixed but we can't turn it on now", "it was open but it's not completing the cycle so we had to close it again", etc. On my 12th visit I finally finally got into the car wash, but I wish I didn't. After pulling in, I heard the entire machine making all kinds of grinding noise when it moved like it was dragging something with it. Nozzles seemed clogged as water and soap were sprayed intermittently. Soap didn't cover car. Water didn't rinse soap off. Hot air blower didn't blow water off. So eventually I ended up with pulling out of the car wash with water droplets all over and a considerable amount of soap residues. Honestly my vehicle was dirtier than before. And I paid for another car wash somewhere else. The car wash obviously is severely out of shape. The gas station employees are not technicians and certainly can't fix it. Seemingly the owner has already gave up in the car wash. Remember their car wash is the touchless one and that abysmally poorly maintained machine can't wash anything off your car.

Store has inconsistent product inventory and locations. Lack of signage for stock moved to sale locations and employees unfamiliar with current inventory locations. That seems to be the result of following the everything on pallets store philosophy instead of having a real store layout. Checkout is generally swift but they offer no bags of any kind. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later.

Whether it's ordered in the afternoon or late at night -- burgers, fries, chicken strips, and other items are served hot and fresh at this location for fairly reasonable prices. For those living in this corner of campus, it's quite convenient to have this option available within walking distance without having to drive along the busy roads. As for flavor -- it's really no better nor worse than going to McDonalds or Burger King, but the fresher preparation really does make a difference in experience. Ingredient quality is fairly good as well, as I've not had old tomatoes, dry bread, nor wilted lettuce here. If you're driving by this part of campus and need some fast food to eat, this Dairy Queen is one of the better options in the area.

I have seen some Indian, Vietnamese, and Filipino stuff though including a generous section of spices and whatnot. The prices are quite affordable and they have a great assortment of fresh produce, deli foods like ready to eat kimbap or squid salad, baked goods, pick your own hotpot items, and fresh bbq (put out at 11am). Their staff is super friendly and diverse (a sign at the entrance touts the multilingual abilities of the staff). They seem to have everything including more niche ingredients and even live seafood! I also appreciate that they freshly butcher meat to sell unlike other stores like Amko that freeze it all. There's also a home goods section with cute bowls, makeup, and other stuff. This is all relatively close to campus too and worth the trip. It's also right next to Golden Harbor, which is a plus. I found out about their membership card. You get 1 point per dollar spent and it builds up - it seems handy especially if you shop here frequently. They are still in the opening stage but hopefully the food court will open up soon!
