This Costco was like all others, almost the exact same items, extremely clean store, and a real pleasant associate as we exited. Gas area is also detached from the main parking lot. Store has inconsistent product inventory and locations. Lack of signage for stock moved to sale locations and employees unfamiliar with current inventory locations. That seems to be the result of following the everything on pallets store philosophy instead of having a real store layout. Checkout is generally swift but they offer no bags of any kind. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later.

I have never heard or seen a self check out at a Circle K. I responded to her "Is that what that is?" Pointing at something I've never seen before. She instantly gave me an attitude and her and the guy I'm line in front of me gave me a rude laugh at me. She asked me again if I wanted to use the elf check Out. I said no. Then she rolled her eyes at me. She was very displeased to have to ring me up. Once I got up there she wouldn't say a word to me. She rang up my things out my bag in the counter then walked away. I stood there waiting for my receipt. She walked back wondering why I was standing there and asked me if I wanted a receipt. I said "yeah". Then she instantly started yelled and swearing and insulting me. It started with "Please dont piss me off today bitch" Then "Get the fuck out of my face, get the fuck out of my store." "Bitch you need help" "Why you still here" "You could have used the self check out lazy bitch" I wanted to tell her about my experience but couldn't really get a word in. She was making a very hostile environment, repeating these words non stop, yelling -and flapping her hands. From the beginning her customer service was horrid.

I questioned it. When I bought them in BoysTown in Chicago, they were $8. Not in Champaign. I said, "Those are Chicago prices! There is no way they are that much. How much are the cheapest ones? I will take those." I had been being helped by a young man. Then I heard a female voice come over the speaker saying something very snotty about it not being Chicago prices. She would not repeat it or come to the window. I said, "I have paid that there, something isn't right with the price here. I will go elsewhere." Then the young man said, "You can get the Pall Mall's for $6.02." It did not make sense, and he gave no explanation. Had I not questioned it, I would have been overcharged by $2. How many people have they done that to? No apologies, no explanations, nothing. I will be going inside next time, if I go back, so I can see who is trying to be rude and hateful while speaking to me, and so I can physically see the prices.
