This Costco was like all others, almost the exact same items, extremely clean store, and a real pleasant associate as we exited. Gas area is also detached from the main parking lot. I pay for a membership to this business but every time I enter the store I have to be accosted by…read moreone or two salespeople near the front of the store. Store has inconsistent product inventory and locations. Lack of signage for stock moved to sale locations and employees unfamiliar with current inventory locations. That seems to be the result of following the everything on pallets store philosophy instead of having a real store layout. Checkout is generally swift but they offer no bags of any kind. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later.

I have been a customer of Norris for more than 20 years until today. It all started about a year…read moreor so ago when they changed their sales policies and started actively pushing up-sales through a practice they refer to as a courtesy check. When my wife or I would bring our cars in for routine maintenance we would get a call saying that they found other problems that should be addressed and since they had the car apart it would be less expensive if they were addressed now. The suggested repairs they estimated were three times the cost the car was originally brought in for. I would ask if they thought it was critical and they would say it should be repaired like I didn't have a choice. The first time this happened I thought well I have been coming here for 20 years they must be right so I went along to the tune of $2500+. A year after this I brought the same car back in for the rear brakes, and I again get a call that says they found more repairs that should be done about $1700.. This time I was really perplexed as the car was just repaired a little over a year ago why all of a sudden is it needing so many repairs and why didn't they find these new repairs a year ago? So I asked the service advisor and the answer I got is this is part of their Courtesy Check practice which according to the shop manager was started 4 years ago. I asked them to please stop the practice as I was not interested in their constant barrage of suggested up-sales. I also said if they didn't stop I would not return. The service advisor replied that it was store policy and he could not do that. The shop manager also said the same. So I told them that I would not be coming back.
