Recently he replaced the timing belt for my sister on a VW Turbo Diesel (out of my purview) and had it done within the week and charged us less than half the Dealer quote and half of another. Knowing what these things entail, I have always given him a 'tip' of at least half what the Dealer would charge as I told him he is simply too cheap. * He is also very honest and will not do work when it would cost more than the car is worth AND he does not do extraneous work. He is the first to tell you, "you don't really need that." He has been in this shop at least 25 years and bought out his partner to become the owner many years ago. *He also does custom exhaust work too!
