Settergren's has a list of vendors that their customers with whom their customers have had good experiences and JMJ is one of the plumbers on the list. I found Hoss Plumbing on the internet and thought I'd give the small, local business guys a try instead of the big guys who hire a bunch of contractors who don't feel any personal responsibility for their work. They did a great job, quick response and professional demeanor. Their price was extremely fair. Two brothers own the business, and they serve the western TC suburbs and Minneapolis. They are licensed and insured. Most recently (June, 2018), I needed a new cartridge in my kitchen sink, some leaking taps tightened up, and I also wanted them to install a new water softener. They gave me a price for a softener, including installation, haul-away, etc. After shopping the internet, I found a shop that would install for a couple hundred dollars less. I emailed Hoss and they said they would match the price. Additionally, they installed a higher quality appliance (I researched it). While they were at it, they cleaned out the basement floor drain and several other traps in the house. No extra charge. Again, their overall prices were so very good. Both brothers were here (Hollis and Ben), and they were both so very professional in how they worked. This is the first review of their business on Yelp, and I hope other folks will talk to them when they need some plumbing work done. Business is so competitive these days, and I would like to help the really great ones do well. These guys shine!

I also asked if $597 for 1.5 hour is typical for their company. They promised to get back to me with the explanation, but never did. I think we were ripped off! Will never use their business again!
