This is a no frills biker bar with good food and friendly people. We had the smoked wings, which were flavorful without being dry. There is some seating indoors, and some of it is outdoors including an upper balcony for a great view of the river. The service was good, no complaints. We've stopped here a few times when in the Grafton area. Lots of seating, we usually sit outside for the view and the weather. Drinks and food are a bit more limited than other options in the area. It's always been very busy when I've been there and the bar has been packed... service is average. I really enjoy that they often have live music at the front outside area. We stopped as we were driving thru from Missouri looking for a place to eat. I saw mixed reviews on line. We ordered a pork steak, pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and coleslaw. all of the food was very good! The pork steak was super tender and the sauce we were given was perfect! the beans were good and the homemade coleslaw was nice and slightly sweet. definitely worth the try if you are near. This is a really cool spot. We stopped here on an annual pub crawl and it happened to coincide with the River Rally Benefit Run featuring Jesse James Dupree of Jackyl. Since we were there, I got a pic with him even though he wasn't very friendly. They were offering helicopter rides and wish I could have gone! Lots of space and really cool views right on the river. Cheap drinks/ice cold beer and I really mean ice cold which is oddly difficult to come by. We didn't have the BBQ but it smelled fantastic. read more

I ordered a smoked bbq pork steak which was terrible. It was not seasoned. I also ordered some potato salad (Walmart bought) and baked beans. They had no sweet tea, just unsweetened which also tasted awful. This costed me $22... my buddy got nachos and tea and they charged him $22. New menu & new ownership. It wasn't evident that there was a new menu when we went for lunch. Food wasn't anything special even though their known for the pulled pork it was run of the mill to me. 10 minute walk from other bars in Grafton, but a nice easy walk. Would've been better if they'd had FRIES. As mentioned in other reviews, they haven't had fries for quite some time. Really a shame. Hubby and I split a pulled pork sandwich which was very good. Only one sauce to choose from, and perfect if you like a sweet sauce. I prefer tangy. The atmosphere and decor are very fitting. The food came quick and the price was good. I also had a Bloody Mary which was quite tasty. They REALLY need to get that fryer fixed! read more

Free WiFi. This place is a biker bar. It sits right on the Mississippi River. Great views of the river if you sit in the back. There is plenty of outside seating in the front and back. No air conditioning. Lots of fans running. The waitresses will take your drink order then you have to go to the counter to order your food. No French fries! This was my fiancé's biggest complaint. If you order water you will get a bottle of water which I thought was nice. No credit cards accepted but they do have an atm machine inside. Lots of parking. My fiancé ordered the pulled pork and a hamburger. He loved his. I ordered ribs and I didn't care for mine. The ribs come in a cup?!? read more

Well no fries and no salad on the menu. Just meat. Place is for sale so looks like cutting food to try to maximize profit margin. Again no fries. So we had beef kabob. Was ok but had to pick off the purple plastic wrapper that was grilled on it and we treated ourselves to a 1/6 inch pork steak for 8 bucks. Again no fries. But being serious. You have to be a particular type of person to be welcome here. The day was wonderful and a good time was had by all...until going here. The staff zoomed in on a black couple who were there minding their own business and happened to be with some friends who were drawing attention to themselves (one was sick). The situation escalated into the parking lot. Cops were unnecessarily called and they were very unprofessional and useless, begging them to leave, as if they (the police) were in fear. This is not the type of environment that should be welcome anywhere, much less promoted and tolerated by law enforcement. This could have ended very badly and all for no justifiable cause. read more

We came to Grafton to watch the fireworks and decided to go ahead and eat dinner while we were there. We needed something kid friendly for the most part and decided to go here. Everywhere was packed due to the fireworks festivities. I ordered the bologna sandwich which was so thick but so good! My fiancé's son got the cheeseburger which was amazing, too. My fiancé on the other hand got the sausage and peppers and onions which came with a small link of sausage, like 3 pepper slices and NO onions. Not worth the $8 whatsoever. My sister in law got the nachos which were average. Cheese was cold, meat was hard/dry but not awful. The potato salad was amazing. The creamy coleslaw is anything but creamy. The food is very good....had the Pork Steak and the wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich.....both were very good. The service was fast and friendly. Very eclectic people here....great atmosphere!!!!! Stopped here passing through and I must say I kind of liked it. It was on a nice sunny Sunday and the place was packed and they had some live music playing and people running everywhere. I ordered the Hawg Dog and I thought this thing was amazing!! The dog is a foot long cut into half with pulled pork over it topped off with cole slaw and once to the table drenched with BBQ sauce. NEVER AGAIN.... Where do I begin? We had a group of 7 (not huge) and there were maybe 5 tables tops. They were out of hot dogs which was a big bummer for the child of the group. Our server was awful! I've waitressed and must say this was some of the worst service I've ever seen. They claim they were busy when it wasn't bad at all. We rarely saw the server. When she took a drink order, she didn't ask the entire table if we were ok or needed anything. I chased her down twice - once for a drink order and she did it again when we ordered food. The nachos were cold and the cheese was obviously from a can. They pretty much pushed us out the door. It seemed like they couldn't wait for us to leave so they could close. (at a mere 8 o'clock). A beautiful fall day + family + road trip = ??? The family and I stopped in after our annual trip along the great river road. If you're sporting ass-less chaps and riding a hog this is evidently the place to be. Seating both indoor and outdoor. Food is served on the finest styrofoam this side of the IL River. I enjoyed my food, not gonna lie I did have low expectations going in. The pulled pork was great, the burger was great, the slaw was excellent and so were the baked beans, which came with pulled pork in them! Yummy. We ate there while on vacation in grafton and though we love grafton and will never go back hawg pit bbq was awful. We went there for lunch. We walked up and they said the only thing they had was pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and beans. No other choices. It was WAY to expensive for what you got. The pulled pork tasted like it was cooked in a crockpot / oven. The beans were OK but nothing special. If you like biker bars where you can drink bear you might like it if you want to find a really good bbq joint you won't. read more

The Best BLT i have ever eaten. We love the Ride up the river road whether we are on 4 wheels or 2 and we always have to stop for the BLT. When we are on 2 wheels we love to hang out here the staff is friendly and they have great live music in the summer and fall and they have a great fire pit out back that overlooks the river.
