We've never had an issue with anything purchased and delivery was fast and free I like the laid back sales approach. I want to look and see what's available not be followed by someone making chit chat and trying to keep you in the store. When you have a question, someone is always right there to answer it. I don't want to be pressured from a copycat used car salesman. You won't find that here! I've paid cash for everything we have purchased except one item years ago that was financed. I remember the financing being very easy to fill out and having 12 months to pay. This was 6 or 7 years ago so this may have changed. During my most recent visit, 2 people were going through financing and it seemed very easy for them. All in all, I can't see how you can be disappointed in this huge, well stocked store. You can special order certain brands, finance and the have free local delivery. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knows their inventory. You can't that is the huge big box stores...

We had some good experiences in Redding and some bad. We drove down to Red Bluff and visited The Furniture Depot. We met David and a few members of the team. They patiently helped us find the right sofa design, seat foam density, and fabric choice for our sofa. We got fabric samples and took them home. They answered all of our questions with a smile. We ordered a Stanton Model 605 sofa with our choice of fabric and seat cushion foam. The couch arrived within the earlier part of the time frame they quoted. They gave us a specific time frame for the delivery date. The delivery guys called us first, arrived within that time slot, and did a great job delivering the couch and hauling the old one away. We have had the couch for a week now. We absolutely love it. It is exactly what we wanted. We will purchase from them again and refer our friends to them. We saved money over buying the sofa from the Redding dealer, even figuring our two trips to Red Bluff and the delivery charge. The service we received was top notch. Tip: If you are taller and heavier than average and want a quality sofa that will last....Look at the Stanton 605 with the High Density seat Cushion. If you have a cat that scratches the rougher textures on your sofa, get a smoother finish with tight weave. Our cat leaves this fabric alone, no scratching. Steve and April.

Ordered 9 windows with screens for $9500 in November...put them on my Home Depot card. They were very prompt with taking the order and our money...however, the deliver took the maximum amount of time for delivery. I was out of town on business when they installed and I couldn't believe the poor workmanship from their 3rd party vendor. I am pretty sure we were told it would be HD personnel doing the install. Anyway, and regardless the install was horrible. I complained and an installer from the 3rd party company and a HD rep came to our house...they took were "shocked" at the poor installation. When the original installers came, the didn't have the screens for the bathroom windows. They did nothing to inform HD of this shortage. Only when they came back to examine the poor installation were they informed...or at least that is what they said...who knows. Anyway, after several emails back in forth with the company telling how important this is, still no screens. I even told them they could just ship them to me and I will install. Today, May 2, yes, 5 months later I finally have given them two weeks to get me the screens or I will just have a reputable local company provide them for me and try and recover my cost from HD. My neighbor was going to have HD do their windows, but not after our experience. We also decided not to order a nearly $2000 custom door from HD after this experience. Buyer beware...completely over promise and under deliver...too bad, not the company they used to be. I will add, everyone we have encountered at the store is great, but their in home dept. simply doesn't have it together.

You wrote a reply to my updated negative review with a long list of excuses and trying to make me out to be slandering your business. You are quick to point out how you bent over backwards for us, while throwing your hard working employee under the bus. I did not choose the prices, that was done by your employee who Google lensed the items and priced it accordingly. Oh and it WAS my sister's name on the consignment contract since we were told could only one person's name could be on it. She and I both feel the same about our experience, I'm just the one who wrote the review, with her blessing. She and I were both present many times at the Red Bluff location to drop off our items and when we finally came to get our final check, that took threatening you with small claims court, for refusing to pay us for items that sold. We walked your 20,000 square foot store looking high and low for several of our missing items for over an hour. Some of the "small" items you stated were things too big to steal. I will not be removing my negative experience review because I know other consignors experienced the same issues.

I'm finally back home to spend some time at my house and I'm seeing my back yard, I got some trees…read morethat need trimming. Not big giant lumberjack needed kinda trees, just some low branches that need trimming. I heard of these chainsaws that are battery powered and not very heavy and safe enough for someone like me to use and not have it kick back and chop my head off or something. I got a guy friend to go with me down to Harbor Freight Tools cause that's suppose to be a place to get tools and the like for not too much money. The quality might not be professional level, but for occasional use homeowner like me it good. We get down there and look around. I do find a couple of options for cordless chainsaws, but wait, hey, they don't include the battery for the saw! Who sells a tool without the battery included? So I looked around and I think they have some batteries, but I'm not really sure they the ones that fit exactly, and the cost is really adding to the total. It kinda pisses me off that the tools don't just come with the battery, so OK, screw it, I'll go look somewhere else. I guess we'll have to drive to Redding and look at Lowe's or Home Depot. At least we can get a nicer lunch up there in Redding.

They had plenty of green ones and no blue ones. I told her I really preferred the blue. A moment later, a guy came out from the inventory with one last blue one. That was great service. I purchased the blue one and she told me more will be in stock on Thursday. So I will pick one up then. The store is in a great location with plenty of parking, and very clean and orderly. The price was good compared to everywhere else that I had shopped.
