Julie, first off, I did thank Amazing Finds for taking in our many antique items in my initial review. I only updated my review after our experience with your shady business dealings. You wrote a reply to my updated negative review with a long list of excuses and trying to make me out to be slandering your business. You are quick to point out how you bent over backwards for us, while throwing your hard working employee under the bus. I did not choose the prices, that was done by your employee who Google lensed the items and priced it accordingly. Oh and it WAS my sister's name on the consignment contract since we were told could only one person's name could be on it. She and I both feel the same about our experience, I'm just the one who wrote the review, with her blessing. She and I were both present many times at the Red Bluff location to drop off our items and when we finally came to get our final check, that took threatening you with small claims court, for refusing to pay us for items that sold. We walked your 20,000 square foot store looking high and low for several of our missing items for over an hour. Some of the "small" items you stated were things too big to steal. I will not be removing my negative experience review because I know other consignors experienced the same issues. read more

If you want to pay top dollar for mediocre items, this is the place for you. The only reason this place is getting two stars and not one is because they do have a huge selection and some of it is really nice. I went in looking for a small dresser. I found a dresser that was in decent shape but definitely needing a good sanding and a fresh coat of paint. There was no price at all so I asked the worker to find a price and it probably took her 20 minutes to figure it out.. Then she just said "it's $200." TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for a used dresser that was barely bigger than a bedside table and needed some TLC?? Definitely not. They had bigger nicer dressers right next to it for $165-235.. I could buy a brand new dresser that size that wouldn't need a bunch or TLC for $200. Won't be going back to this store unless I really feel like paying brand new prices for used items..... read more

Went in today -- had two baskets full of knick knacks, which I was actually pretty excited about purchasing -- until I heard the manager yelling at three of his employees from across the store, two young girls and a man in his thirties. The treatment his employees experienced is never acceptable. The manager was raising his voice, insulting his employees, and at one point slammed his hand on the counter. What an absolutely miserable, unprofessional environment to work in. What an absolutely miserable, unprofessional man to work for. I will never make another purchase from this establishment, and implore you to spend your money elsewhere. The treatment his employees experienced was entirely unethical. If any of the employees read this: quit. You are professionals, your mental health is more important than an inventory fuck up, or a misunderstood direction. Never accept this treatment in your workplace again; you deserve so much better than the verbal abuse of such a small, pathetic man. read more

I bought a brand new bed I thought and they presented as, when I got it home I noticed it had a refurbished tag on it. I tried to return it and they would not take it back or replace it. On top of that they gave me the wrong size bed frame and told me they couldn't do anything about it because the owner's wife didn't know he included the bed frame in the sale and she would be mad so he couldn't rectify that. They're overpriced and underhanded and I would never recommend them to anybody. read more

I bought a "Reclaimed wood, dresser and bed frame". It was not reclaimed wood like the store associate had informed me, it was particle board not reclaimed wood. The dresser was damaged in the box. I returned both items and was only given an in store credit. The owner then referred to my purchase as a "budget piece". I live 4 hours away and was furnishing an air bnb, I am not driving 8 hours round trip to spend money in this store. I have no use for an in store credit. This transaction took place over two months ago and I am still in dispute with the credit card company to get my money back. I do not have any products from them and they are still trying to charge me. read more

To whom it may concern, We were up visiting my mom in Red Bluff for the weekend. We came from San Francisco which is about a 200 mile drive. I'm very particular about how customer service should be in a store. Dolores was sweeping and cleaning the store and asked if we needed help. She told us if we questions to ask her. We could tell she was working and listening at the same time. She showed us were we could find more frames and pictures. We chose a posable white teddy bear. She was very sweet. Then Amber helped us find some movies and cds. I told her I use to shop here years ago when it was a grocery store. She was very polite. Gavin was our cashier and asked if we found everything we needed. He made sure to tell us to enjoy our visit and come back. I've been in retail for 32 years. I must say you are very lucky to have the people like this working for you. I'm going to yelp review your establishment too. Thanks again for making our trip to see my mom and enjoyable one. My mom and I went there looking for a mattress set and bed... we were not very easy customers as we where on a limited budget... Gerald and his boss, then later Julie made our shopping experience so incredibly pleasant and easy! Don't go here if you like to spend your time going up and down the aisles checking everything out. I like to spend my time looking in antique stores because I don't want to miss something I might have to have. The man working there eventually came up to my friend in the aisle and grabbed the item she was going to buy to make us go to the register and acted like we needed to hurry up. Their hours show open til 7... it's only noon. Made us feel like they wanted to make sure we were going to purchase and not steal anything. Don't worry workers, we didn't plan on stealing the $2 ceramic item we wanted. Won't be back for any bigger items either now. read more

This place is packed with bargains on new and used merchandise, I went in today looking for a nice used vacuum for my business, something quality that will hold up with heavy use and not only did they have one but had several to choose from. We got a great deal on the vacuum we needed and felt great about dealing with a local family. Take the time to go look around in there they probably have what you want or need and if you don't see it ask because they have a huge store in Redding as well read more
