I told her I didn't know it was a national company and i was grateful for her reaching out because I thought that the woman I spoke with before (Emmaline) was one of the highest ranked employees, so I thought there was nothing else i could do about my situation. I talked about my conversation with Emmaline, Olivia was super open and patient. I also let her know that ALL of the conversations I had with the other workers all went well and the service was great all in all, just the way that Emmaline handled my situation was super unprofessional. Olivia reassured me that she had found where the fault was and took care of my situation with no hesitation. I'm so grateful to Olivia and I apologized for my part, she was so understanding and reassuring. i just wanted to give her a big hug because after knowing it's a bigger company and knowing the woman I spoke with previously wasn't at the top of it all, made me feel much better about the company because I know that the company is in better hands than what I dealt with. So i do want to apologize and add to my previous review, CalMed does not deserve a one star, or a thumbs down. It was just a negative experience with ONE WORKER who i mistook as someone of high priority and importance within the company. I found this out at inpatient rehab when my physical therapist pointed it out. He loaned me a junior walker to use at the facility. I ended up being ready to go home before the planned two weeks. I could not be discharged without the proper sized walker. I looked at all the places I could think of. If they actually had junior walkers, they were out of stock. The average price was less than $50. So the facility hooked me up with Stat Medical. To their credit, they got right back to me. I appreciate that. They could deliver a junior walker the next day. I figured it would be around $100. Nope. Boy, was I off. It was $170 plus tax! I took them to task on this, asking why it cost so much. There was no clear, believable explanation. But I was over a barrel and bought it. The guy delivers it the next day. He was going to leave it, but I made him open it up, adjust it properly, and remove the packaging. I found out too late that I could have gotten the same thing from another supply company for $86, delivered. I won't use this rip-off company again.

After saying they did have inventory of new scooters for over a year, they sold me an used scooter and said that it was like new, came with warrenty and they just charged my insurance and I didn't have to pay my copayment to them. The scooter stopped working after a year and they spent a year replacing batteries and battery case (charging my insurance). They just never wanted to acknowledge the scooter had issue. Now they lied about the whole situation. They said they never told me I didn't need to pay copay because it's an used scooter. They also claimed the warrenty expired and if they were to fix it, I had to pay the outstanding copay. I made complaint to consumer protection but I didn't have evidence of the conversation so they couldn't pursue the case. I left with a broken scooter and had to wait 3 more years before I could get another one. They are in the business of helping people that are struggling in life health wise. I don't understand how they can be this senseless.
