They are full of lies. Never trust them anything over conversation. You want everything in black and white. After saying they did have inventory of new scooters for over a year, they sold me an used scooter and said that it was like new, came with warrenty and they just charged my insurance and I didn't have to pay my copayment to them. The scooter stopped working after a year and they spent a year replacing batteries and battery case (charging my insurance). They just never wanted to acknowledge the scooter had issue. Now they lied about the whole situation. They said they never told me I didn't need to pay copay because it's an used scooter. They also claimed the warrenty expired and if they were to fix it, I had to pay the outstanding copay. I made complaint to consumer protection but I didn't have evidence of the conversation so they couldn't pursue the case. I left with a broken scooter and had to wait 3 more years before I could get another one. They are in the business of helping people that are struggling in life health wise. I really appreciate how friendly, and more importantly caring this company is. I've never had someone contact me first to make sure my order was correct and delivered before I ran out. The owner, Keith, answered all my questions with genuine care, and although it was closing time he didnt seem impatient and even helped me beyond what I was asking. Amazing experience !!! Keith, the owner helped us with respiratory supplies, humidifiers, and other things we needed. He even brought out the 2 humidifiers so we could listen to both. Terrible customer service. Terrible overall service. Our 2 year old son uses a pulse to monitor his oxygen levels 24 hrs a day. Of the last 24 pulse ox cords we have received in the last few months, 18 of them have been defective (As in they wouldn't even turn on when plugged in). This is life threatening for our child. They have been so incredibly rude to us, stating they were "forced" to be the medical supplier for our child (who is on hospice care). This was so insensitive and unprofessional. They are a terrible company to work with, and I dread having to communicate with their office monthly to fill our medical supply needs. read more

After over a year of of trying to work with Medicare and Universal Med supply (the company that filled the prescription for my husband's scooter) to get the battery for scooter supplied, we were referred to universal med supply by our PCP. Ivan from PAC Med was very friendly and helpful. With his persistence he was able to get the insurance to a cover the cost of the battery and got it replaced! There was no run around or anything like I got with Universal Med Supply as it turns out, that company treats a lot of Hawaii customers that way. Thank You Ivan for you persistency and hard work I'm getting things done! I gotta say PAC MED is awesome and will work with everyone. This company has no business making or adjusting orthotics (custom insoles). The owner of the company appears to have a degree in bio-engineering, but if he does have knowledge of biomechanics, he has not passed this knowledge along to others at his company. I received a prescription for an adjustment on my custom orthotics from my podiatrist and was directed to go to Pacmed, a local company, which I was excited about. I went to Pacmed six different times for three different adjustments. In the end, Pacmed basically butchered my $300 custom orthotics and made adjustments that did not demonstrate an understanding of the basics of orthotic insoles--that minute changes in insoles impact biomechanics all the way up the skeleton. The first featured a circular ridge in the middle of the metatarsal. The second pair which was supposed to have a "metatarsal cut-out" (per the prescription) had been shaved down so two insoles were no longer the same height. The final adjustment had a ledge across the middle of the orthotic where the hard plastic of the custom orthotic met the front of the foot insole. I wore these yesterday while walking, and experienced severe knee problems as a result, something I have not experienced with over the counter insoles with a smooth insole. read more

They wouldn't give me a delivery time window, so I had to wait 8 hours for them to show up on a Saturday. The mattress they provided with their electric bed was extremely hard. Not appropriate for an elderly infirm person with osteoporosis to sleep on, or any person for that matter. It wouldn't bend with the bed, unless there was body weight on it, and even then the feet end of it angled up in the air. We had to buy a thick mattress topper at our own expense to make it useable, but it was slightly wider and shorter than the mattress, which made using the rails difficult. read more

OMG!! I didn't wanna believe the reviews but they are true! Worst company ever! Stay away! Have the professionals deal with them! Seriously! I called them to see if I could get a walker for my daughter. I'm glad I called because I can only imagine what would happen if I showed up. Unhelpful and taking no responsibilities whatsoever. PAC med is definitely the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. When I walked in I was asked what hospital I was from. When I answered that I was a private customer, I was told that I wouldn't be helped unless I was paying cash. If I wanted to file an insurance claim it would take 9 weeks to receive a wheelchair from them. I was given the phone number of another place. She was very helpful. But Keith M. in the shipping/delivery department is the bomb. I went to Pacmed last week Friday in the morning to pick up my shoes from Edison. Really nice local guy who was really nice to talk to. The place may be cluttered and have a lot of medical equipment laying around but Hey, I understand. Everyone has their own opinion. I believe I had to wait at least about 5-6 or less for my diabetic shoes. I just got it Friday after a monthly process. Shoes are great and all! But here's the downfall. Before I first came to Pacmed, I told them that I needed "Slip resistant" or waterproof shoes. They told me that they was gonna give some slip resistant work shoes. But instead, after a month process, I got a athletic type of work shoesI'm slipping and sliding small kine at work trying my best to stand still and all. Overall, the shoes I'm wearing now is good and great. Workers look like they could use a smile. But they try their best to offer good servicesthis place is also in a really secluded area too. If no stars were an option, I would choose that. Avoid this company if it is at all possible to do so. Before retirement, I worked as a home care nurse. Certain insurances had contracts requiring their patients use PacMed. Whenever we (the home care staff) were forced to work with them we knew things would not go smoothly. i'm so upset cause my friend's car was damaged by pacmed's driver (martin - lic #sgj945) in october 2019 (proof on camera).. the driver tried to be slick by walking away from the damage; but "surprise"- my friend confronted him. the driver told my friend he can pay out of his pocket- which was $20. omg- such a cheap a**! my friend called her insurance and she was advised to call pacmed direct to have them handle this problem. my friend was advised that one of the workers from pacmed advised to go and get an estimate. the estimate that they submitted was too high so my friend was advised pacmed will take it to their body shop. my friend called numerous times but no one's returning her call and/or she's always being placed on hold for a long time. she's all steamed up and it's not the greatest environment to have my friend with a terrible attitude because of your driver's careless problem. it takes a lot for my friend to be upset with anyone/anything. i want my friend back to normal... please take action by handling the problem as soon as possible cause this is not cool!!!! mahalo, concerned friend read more

PACMED has been giving this rating due to BAD service along with BAD management 1st case is that supplies were scheduled for delivery on a Monday but due to driver calling in sick client was unable to get supplies needed called the manager JB and he stated that it would be delivered Thursday Its Friday with no supplies and client suffers the pain of not having what he/she needs to get around, called the owner of the company Keith and he stated that he is very busy and if I keep on complaining he will discharge my order in which he did. I got a Nova walker for my mother the 1st week in October 2015. They claimed they put in a claim 3 times to her primary insurance. At the time of purchase I told them my mother also has a second insurance but told me that they don't cover walkers. I contacted the second insurance and they do. As of today March 2016 this company has not submitted a claim with her primary insurance and stated they have up to 18 months to file a claim so they never submitted a claim. These people are lazy and don't want to do anything with filing claims. I do not recommend using this company at all. Luckily I have a good rep at the insurance company who is working on this. read more

Make a formal complaint to the better business bureau, if you want to make an impactful way this company does business. On BBB they have a A+ rating which really is the farthest from the truth. Keith the owner of this company a few years ago took personal interest to insure customer service. But unfortunately that was not our experience recently, needed my aunts hospital bed repaired called and called to be hooked up to a voicemail cycle with no follow up phone call, finally got in touch with someone only to be told that we needed a new prescription form the doctor in order to get services, got that faxed over right away, to be put on the list 2 months later to have someone come out to the home and confirm that the bed was broken, it has been 6 months now and the service man has not returned to fix the bed yet, my aunt has a high rate of chocking so it is necessary to have the bed raised which we are doing manually. My aunt could literally choke. So sad this company has really gone down in every area meaningful having to do with great customer service... read more

(0 stars) Pac Med has the worse customer service that I have ever experienced! Seriously - avoid at all possible or at least beware of the poor service. One month ago my mother checked out of Rehab and required a wheelchair. We called Pac Med and they explained that the wheelchair was not in inventory and would contact us when received. Last week I called them to follow up (Mother has been using a loner wheelchair) and Customer Service Rep. said she would check on it and call me back. Two days later she called to say everything was in order with Medicare and the wheelchair was ready to pick up. I told her I was 5 minutes away and would be there shortly. When I got to Pac Med I checked in with the receptionist who contacted the Customer Service Rep. I sat and waited 45 minutes!!!! I finally asked another employee to give Customer Service Rep. a message from me to have wheelchair delivered. He immediately finds my Mother's order from a manilla folder and says the wheelchair is right here (next to where I was sitting for 45 minutes). My understanding is that they are Medicare service providers - so it may be unavoidable to have to work with them. In the future if I need any type of medical supply I will ask for a different provider. read more

Dealing with this company has been a very frustrating experience. I would not do business with them for any of their products or services. I was sent to them for diabetic shoes in the fall of 2016. It's now August 2017. I have been constantly calling for the status updates. First it was waiting on insurance, then it was insurance approved but having trouble with the vendor, then the story was they had to wait for a full shipment to save on freight costs. All these excuses in between no return calls at all. Today, I finally got the real answer - non of the above was true.They never submitted it to insurance as they were having trouble getting approvals, so they assumed my order would be denied, however, they never submitted it. I told Edison that they need to tell people the truth from the beginning so other options could be pursued instead of telling customers a bunch of lies. They failed on all levels of customer service as well as the community they serve. I feel they have no concern for people with diabetic feet problems and how important it is.
