They have a good selection of marine solar equipment, but when it comes to the actual install - forget it - not very helpful. They sold me a Sunpower 410W - no mounting holes and no forewarning. Just make the sale and move on. The Sunpower 410W arrived and it had a clear manufacturing defect on one of the cells (a gash across 2 cells that was under a smooth undamaged surface layer - i.e., NOT shipping damage). That's when things got ugly. I pointed out the manufacturing defect and offered a couple options, which included one option where I would keep the panel IF AND ONLY IF IT WORKED and suggested a discount on the sale of a panel with a manufacturing defect. They repeatedly called it a "cosmetic" defect. News flash, in the tech biz there is no such thing. That's when I heard from Katie, who basically said tough luck, your problem, take it up with Sunpower. I told her I'd take it up with YELP. I really regret buying my solar from this company.

The girl in the office couldn't stop coughing, looked super sick. Now is not a good time to be working sick. We were told be 2 people to have them check the tires before we buy because they're known for selling and making money off rims and tires even if they dont hold air. We were mainly looking for rims anyway. The lady in the front told us how much it would cost for rim and tire and the tire was flat. We had to ask if we could get some air in it and check for leaks. We waited for some time but eventually someone came down and took the tire. My husband walked with him asking if they had anymore of the same rims? No answer. He tried to make some small talk, nothing in reply. He ended up jumping in a car and speeding off leaving my husband in his dust. Super rude! We ended up waiting for awhile not even knowing if he was coming back. Eventually he did, my husband asked if there were any leaks, he said nothing and started walking away. So I asked again, is it holding the air? And he just sped off again. Real shady. The lady in the front could clearly hear how frustrated we were with no answers but also stayed quite and just asked us for money. She also charged a random disposal fee for what? We didnt ask to dispose of anything. This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Shady business for sure, we will not be going back.

This is right on the cruise terminal port and quite easy to walk to. The check in area is in a hotel called Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. I would recommend to check in early as 15 minutes before your tour departs, they guide you to the water shuttle. Once you get on the water shuttle, it takes you to the submarine. You need to be able to climb a ladder to get into the submarine. The space is a little on the tight side and there are no backs to the seats so work on your abs before the trip! The air inside was cool and constantly recirculating so it did not feel stuffy. Everyone gets their own porthole to look into the ocean and there are fish identification cards in front of you. The submarine can get to 100 ft pretty quickly and I was surprised that my ears did not get plugged up. We saw lots of fish that day. Some get really close to the submarine. We even saw a school of fish! My only disappointment is color. At those depths, everything has a blue tinge so sometimes it was hard to identify the fish. The operators and tour guides were so nice and informative. This was one of the best tours I've had on this trip. Thanks again for a great excursion!

We went down over 100 feet, and we saw so many different types of fish as well as two shipwrecks! Our guide, Eden, was full of helpful information about the sea life and local culture and history, and she was unendingly patient with one of my kids who had a million questions for her. She didn't mention tips, but at the end, she got a lot of cash from all of us because she absolutely crushed the tour. My only nits were 1) finding the meeting place was not obvious because it's inside the neighboring hotel-- not sure if we missed those instructions somewhere. And 2) we donked our heads twice when looking out the viewports when we were looking at some fish-- not because the submarine was moving too fast, we just got excited looking at fish hah. Anyway, some padding would have gone far. Anyway, I know it seems touristy, but this one is actually worth it-- so much that we've done it twice over a couple decades!
