I wasn't expecting a big shift in my skin's appearance and definitely not in shape. However, less than 5 minutes into it I was totally blissed out! I hadn't realized how much tension I was carrying in my face until Mary Kay worked it all out! I was also impressed with how lifted and sculpted my entire face, especially cheek bones, looked afterwards (she said her hand strokes are specialized to fight gravity). Seriously, so lifted and rounded, not the flat way they were before. It was both relaxing and effective with visible results. Her space was easy to find and comfortable. Bathroom available. She is knowledgeable about the skin care line she uses, able to tailor them to individual needs and explain why and how your skin would benefit from them. I called on a Tuesday afternoon on the off chance that she was still accepting walk-ins for the day. I'm so grateful that she ended up having space available, because this is my favorite haircut and experience of my life. She understood exactly what I wanted based on my picture of Jenny Ortega sporting shaggy layers. She encouraged me that I had more curls than I knew (versus other hairstylists have often doubted me so I started calling my hair wavy). She is positive and affirming when chatting with customers, and by the end, I had made a new friend.
