Great service! They were focused not only on the look of my nails and toes but the health of my nails and toes. Even though I came in at 6:15 they didn't rush through the service and gave me thorough treatment. I learned so much about how to care for my nails and toes (and how many years have I had fingernails and toe nails?!? lol) I appreciated that they enjoyed educating clients on nail health while making sure we stay cute and summer ready. Been here a few times (previously left a very positive review) - hit or miss depending on tech. The most recent time (today) - the nail tech made multiple fingers bleed with aggressive cuticle trimming and did not shape my nails at all. Stated she wouldn't do it until "after my gel was done" aka she went straight in with a file back and forth on one nail and made it a weird shape since none other had any filing. I've gotten hundreds of manicures (only went here because my normal tech is having health issues) and never had someone file after color/curing with UV. Odd. read more

This is the only nail salon I've been to the last 2 1/2 years and it's the absolute best! Bang is incredibly talented! He does every nail idea I come in with and he comes up with fun ideas to do! I don't typically write reviews but this was by far the worst pedicure I have ever received, so I am warning you: save your time & money. I have come to the salon twice now & both times were extremely disappointing. The first time I received a gel manicure and it chipped within 24 hours. I went back to get it touched up & the woman informed me that she had "tried a new polish" and I was the second person to return that day. Red flag. Months later I decided to come back for a regular pedicure & boy was that a mistake. I asked for white polish but was informed it was "too sheer", and was advised to choose another color. I opted for a light pink instead. At first it seemed fine, but then it went south. The tech used a rock hard pumice stone that tore up my feet. From there, they proceeded to spend 2 hours leisurely painting my toes. After finishing the polish, they informed me that there was no dryer so I would need to sit and wait for my toes to air dry. After waiting a while and overhearing crude conversations from another tech talking about making a gentleman's toes "so clean his girlfriend could suck them", I wanted to leave. The tech slid on my shoes and told me they wished I had done gel instead. I didn't understand what they meant until I got home and saw the end result. My toes were patchy and tacky/goopy from layers of wet paint that couldn't dry. I literally wanted to cry. How they could charge for this is beyond me. I understand people have off days, but this was horrendous. I removed the polish and painted them myself which was extremely disappointing and overall a waste of time & money. read more

I decided to have my nails done on a whim, at Haven since I was already in the neighborhood. First off the place looks awesome, I was a bit apprehensive since I always go somewhere else. Well let me tell you this I am so happy that I did, my nail technician was so nice kept talking to me and she understood exactly what I wanted and I got something even better than what I expected. Even though I live about 15 minutes away from here I'm going to make the effort to come down here to have my nails done, Sophia was absolutely wonderful, gentle, and the sweetest person you're gonna talk to and also the funniest actually ladies man they have walk-ins are welcome, and they accommodate as much as they possibly can which I appreciated. read more

I used to be a regular and would visit them every two weeks. On my last visit I asked for a gel polish change. The nail tech used the electric file to remove the gel as usual. He painted my nails with the selected color and as soon as all my nails were done, he started filling again. I thought maybe something was wrong with the gel and just let him do his job. Once more my nails were painted and the gel cured. I was ready to pay when he started to remove the gel again. This was the third time he was removing the gel with the electric file. Suffice to say I was totally freaking out! I asked him to stop and he seemed to be clueless as to why I was so upset. I recall that he kept dozing off the entire time while working on my nails. He finally realized what happened and fixed the ones he had started to file again. I paid and left. This happened during the peak of the Covid pandemic, after the salons were allowed to receive customers again. I always wonder if he was sick with Covid and still working at the salon. I hope if this was the case, he was able to receive proper medical care. This used to be my favorite nail salon and I am very sad that the quality of the service went down. read more

We made an appointment for pedis and manis at this salon. While I was getting the pedicure, someone was also doing the manicure, which was not fun- it was too much simulation and sucked the joy out of the services. Also, bc the lighting was poor the manicurist couldn't see that there was a lot of white residue under my nails and along the sides from the filing. When I got outside and got a look at my nails I was very disappointed. Also, they used some special fast-drying stuff to set the polish, which ended up leaving a gray coating on several of my nails. The people were nice, but we felt rushed. And as I said, getting both services at once was not enjoyable. read more

Had a gel manicure and within 4 days 3'of my nails had chipped significantly. Had to go to a different salon to get the repair done. Very annoying to have to spend the money to fix what should've lasted two weeks. Two days after that I had two more chipped tips. I Have Been getting Gel for months so I know how it works. Very ugly and inconvenient to have to pay for costly repairs or might just spend another $ 40 somewhere else for a new shellac gel job before two weeks. Can't afford to go to Haven again. But the people are very friendly, so that's worth 2 stars. read more

This place is a hot mess. My manicurist was nice enough but the manicure itself was sloppy and expensive. The prices here are ridiculous, especially when you consider the low quality. Looking for a forever spot to go since I'm new to the city, this is not the place. Also the phone rang non stop, so she kept having to stop working on my nails to answer it. This place blows. I went in because the prices and reviews looked somewhat decent....I am not the kind of person who needs "the best of the best" but MY GOD! The man doing my nails would not stop talking, made racist comments, rude remarks, and all around ruined my experience on a day that was supposed to be a relaxing day off. I felt like i was at work because it was so painful sitting and talking to him. I haven't even gotten to the shit job he did yet. He kept blaming his mediocracy on the length of my nails. SIR, i have gotten plenty of mani pedis in the past, and haven't had any issues. I'm still wiping excess nail polish from around my fingers. To top it all off, the website quotes a regular pedicure and a gel manicure for $73. He charged me $86 because i asked for multiple colors on my fingers, which i tipped for. The man filed my nails, painted them, insulted my listening skills, and charged me an extra $15. Told the tech I was in a wedding this weekend and this is the care that was shown to my nails. They looked so terrible I had to go to Walmart and buy things to fix them myself after paying 47 dollars for a fill. Two weeks ago when I called they told me full sets started at 40 so why in the whole hell was I charged 47 dollars for my nails to be filled and look TERRIBLE. I was literally in tears trying to fix them myself. The guy also had me send the money to his personal cashapp instead of the stores cashapp which seemed really really weird. OH and he told me that since they were grinded down they would be more likely to break, for the price why not just put on a new set?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Called ahead for a 2:30 appointment, my nails were started at 3 p.m., which is understandable because they were busy. My nails look decent, though the color is way off. I was in a rush to get to work due ~30 minute delay so I didn't want to wait longer for her to take the polish off. The shape is good and the polish is smooth, however the woman who did my nails was a little rough. The drill burnt me 3 or 4 times and my fingers are sore from the filing. One cuticle bled but it's not a big deal. Overall, I'm not super happy with them for $54 (before tip) and it wasn't relaxing because she was pretty rough with my hands. She was nice enough and definitely a pro at the process I just wish she was a tiny bit gentler. - I wanted the nude color and ended up with a bubble gum pink. read more

Decided to try this new place because it's close to my house and they are a rare place that accepts walk-ins. Terrible! They cut every single one of my fingers during the cuticle work. So painful. The nail tech kept filing the sides of my nails while they were bleeding! I had to ask them to ease up multiple times. I finally said, my hands are raw I can't take anymore filing or cutting. Every. I have been to many nail studios around Cleveland and while traveling and this was absolutely the worst. I had an appt and it took 2 hours and 15 minutes for a mani pedi. They didn't help me for 35 mins then made me sit again to wait for someone after the pedicure. The nail technician was texting and FaceTiming while doing my nails. It would have been okay if they turned out. He filed my nails until there was nothing left even though I said multiple times to leave the length. The nail polish job was sloppy and all over my cuticles. A waste of my time and my $80+ I would not recommend. Update: sharing a photo one week later. I have been waiting for this place to open! The service was super fast, and they replied to my Instagram direct message so quickly. If I can find a place that gets me in and out in 50-60 minutes, I'm happy. I went to Katie and she was so nice, she talked to me the entire time. I haven't had dip done in a few months, so that's why my nails are so short, but she did a great job shaping the nails with what I gave her. The dip is even, no bumps, and she made sure that everything was dry before I left. There is also a small discount for using cash so keep that in mind! I just recently moved to Cleveland and I've been on a lookout for a salon that wasn't charging $55-$60 for a dip manicure. Normally anywhere from $40-$45 is what I was used to from home, and that's sustainable for me to go monthly. So finding this salon, on top of how well they did the service makes them a gem! There is street parking across the street from the salon, and there's a lot right in front of that as well. So it's nice not to have to pay for that on top of getting your nails done. I'm so excited that I finally was able to find an affordable salon that was clean, and close by! I will definitely be coming back! read more

I went to Haven in October & got a fill from a man with pink hair. My right thumb got extremely infected. I went back to try to have them take it off, & they just put more gel over it, then had the audacity to try and CHARGE me for it!!! It is now February and my nail is STILL not fully grown back and I have not been able to get my nails done since. Haven will be lucky if i don't sue them for the mal-practice and painful infection that they caused me!!! read more

I made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure at 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday. I arrived and was asked to wait. At 6 p.m., I was finally called back to start my pedicure. I soaked for another half hour, water cold at this point, before I complained that I had been there for an hour and no one had even started my service. Finally, an hour and 15 mins after my scheduled appointment time someone started my pedicure. After I was done, they asked if I just wanted a polish change on my nails. I explained that I had booked a manicure, but since it was so close to close, I was told they only had time for a change. I was leaving for vacation the next day and didn't have time to go to another salon so I agreed. The "polish change" was rushed and sloppy - and I was still charged $75 (before tip) for poor service. I loved this salon so much pre COVID and was excited to get back now that they're open. I made an appointment ahead of time. Upon arrival at my specific time, my nail tech was just starting a full set on another client. Additionally, there was NO social distancing. There were at least 7 techs working with a client and another 6-7 people in the waiting area that is only big enough to socially distance maybe 3 people. While there were masks and dividers between stations, they were not at all enforcing social distancing. This used to be my absolute favorite nail salon near downtown. The last time I was there it took 2 and a half hours for a manicure and pedicure with an appointment. Today I had an appointment, when I arrived at the salon it was clearly busy and was told that it was going to be a "little wait," 35 minutes later not a single person has updated me, as I also can hear staff members asking if I even have an appointment. Unfortunately not everyone has time to wait around for hours and that is the point of having an appointment. I'm extremely disappointed and sad that I will have to find a new nail spot :( read more

I have nothing but good things to say about that place. There customer service is unmatched. They are friendly, helpful and always available to squeeze you in. My nails, feet, eyebrows and lashes always last until I return again. You pay for what get, quality is 100% so stop being cheap with your nails lol. I've tried this place twice now to give it two chances since I live within walking distance and wanted so badly to love this place, especially because it looks so cute from the outside. Unfortunately, I haven't had positive experiences. First of all, they close at 7, making it difficult to get there after work, which is just something to note. I made a 6:00 appointment, but I've noticed that when you make an appointment, you still have to wait. When I did sit down, they did my manicure first instead of my pedicure, despite me inquiring about that. When I finally did get my pedicure and by the time I sat down to dry, I was the last person in the salon and that made me very anxious so I tried to dry and leave quickly - forgetting that they had done the pedicure last. My nails instantly smudged. The tech tried to fix them but I ended up having to redo them entirely when I got home because the smudge was still that bad. Also, they always have two different people doing your nails which isn't my favorite because I never know who I'm supposed to hand the tip to - just makes a situation awkward and difficult to approach. Additionally, the price on the wall for a mani pedi is $50 but for some reason I was charged $68 - does that mean I tipped twice? Not sure! As someone who has gone to many salons - these are more than NYC prices, significantly so. Also, they always are too aggressive with both their tools (horrible painful pumice stone), and trimming of cuticles (leaving me bleeding). Lastly, this is far from a tranquil, spa like environment- it's overall a lot of people talking, loud and chaotic. I wanted so much to love this place and feel badly writing this, but unfortunately it just misses the mark on so many levels and I won't be able to go back. read more

I've been to this salon 2 other times and I had a decent experience each time, but this time is going to be my last. It was just not a good experience since my cuticles were cut and bleeding on 6 of my fingers and now my fingers hurt any time I sanitize and wash my hands. Also, I'm gonna have to be putting antibiotic ointment on my fingers now. They better be sanitizing all their equipment well if they're making every customer bleed. read more

I arrived waited tell I was greeted & spoke with lady by the name of (Nina I think) sitting up front doing nails she walked me to the back with the chairs sat up my pedicure told me to put my feet in with the water running and then went back doing nails(another worker had to stop the water)I sat for almost 15 mins then had to ask someone who would be doing my toes cause the lady said nothing just left!! I want to start by saying that Heim (not sure on spelling) was INCREDIBLE and finished my nails good. However, the first guy to do my nails was absolutely awful. I have never left a review on anything before but I have to because it was this bad. He started out okay, asking the same two questions every few minutes and forgetting he asked but nonetheless it was all okay. He would leave and get up every few minutes to go talk to another nail stylist. This was all still okay. When I was getting my nails started (I was getting a full set) it became clear he had no idea what he was doing. The acrylic was uneven and he even missed some nails. When he was filing my "acrylics" he would get my actual nail half the time, meaning he would just file toward the air. All this was still okay. Maybe he was just learning. Then he began to touch my hands a lot. I thought maybe it was a complimentary massage, but then it continued on to the point were I was very very uncomfortable. He pulled up a YouTube music video and was watching it as he was rubbing on my hands and arms. This went on for probably close to 5-10 minutes. It was not a massage, it was him just rubbing my arms and hands when I clearly didn't want it. He even said that I looked "mad". His eyes were elsewhere and he continued on making me uncomfortable even when I asked to get back to my nails. Then he got up yet again to go mess with another person doing nails. At this point I was looking around trying to make eye contact with any other person so I could leave. I was ready to leave with plops of acrylic on my nails. Someone else working called me over to him and that's when I realized my nails were absolutely awful. The person that called me over had to call someone else to completely redo the acrylic. At this point the original guy was called to the back by someone so he could "chill" and occasionally he would stumble out of the back to mess with someone. I have never been so uncomfortable while getting my nails done. I didn't speak up because I truly believe this guy was not in the right headspace to be at work, much less doing nails. They called him "D". Heim (not sure on spelling again) was absolutely wonderful while fixing my nails and I didn't have to pay for them. I still feel so uneasy about this guy who was rubbing all over my arms and caressing my hands to an extreme. I will never be returning and recommend younger women to be very cautious if they go. read more

I will start by saying this is the first review I have ever written in my life!! Had to because my experience was so awful. It was rushed, pedicure chipped within a couple days, and my nails were filed extremely uneven. The girl that did the manicure wasn't bad but would have been better if she wasn't being reprimanded by this man (maybe Ben?) the entire time. I was uncomfortable the whole time and will never return. 2 weeks later I went to a different salon for my next manicure and the nail tech was immediately concerned with how my nails looked and knew it was a botched job!
