What a great experience! You first enter into a smoke shops and then you go through into the actual lounge. Both are kept in great condition and easy to navigate! The smoke shop has everything a hookah smoker along with vape enthusiast would need. The hookah was phenomenal and they offer some food (I didn't get any) along with the common drinks. The hookah pulled amazing and was extremely well made! The people around us were friendly and we ended up staying a lot later than we intended to because of that! They have multiple TVs that you can change and watch whatever you want. In total, I walked in with an expectation of getting a decent hookah in Chicago and walked out with one of the best lounge experiences I have ever had. This place is pretty cool. We came in yesterday night and it was not too busy. The girl that took care of was very nice and attentive. Great customer service. The hookah experience was very interesting. I'm not a smoker but this was something I would do once in a while. They have few different flavors. We had some snacks but it seemed people don't really eat here much. Our fries were not cooked completely but ok. Otherwise the cheese sticks were supper good. I've been here many times, the hookah is always packed well, the ambiance is nice...the music is not too loud and the lights are not too flashy. You can watch anything on TV, they will give you a remote so you can change the channel yourself. One star short of 5 stars because they close early (12am) for a hookah lounge. read more

So we wanted to try something different and arrived around 10pm. We walked in and there were 7 teenagers laughing and talking with their friend who was "working" possibly at the register. He (the "working" employee) didn't acknowledge us but we proceeded towards the back where we could see a sitting area. Not the best first impression! Once we sat down, the service was phenomenal. The young lady explained the menu, asked us if we wanted anything to drink and made recommendations based on our taste. She asked us several questions. She promptly brought us our drinks and hookah. The second young lady checked in with us as did the first. What great service. Complaint- the "worker" from the front register interrupted our server to say he was sitting a group of guests. Why didn't he sit us? And then why interrupt our service? Rude man! Luckily our server gracefully handled the situation. The preferred group this man sat down was a group of teen friends of his. The girlfriend and I arrived a bit late, around 11PM. So we were only able to stay leas than an hour. The service and was mediocre. There were two girls working this night but one was doing all the work while the other mingled with friends. When the girl first came up to see what we'd like she mentioned a discount if we wrote a good review on Yelp, soooo... The reviews here may be a hit skewed. We ordered smoothies which were pretty good ( strawberry banana). It took a good 15 minutes for the server/waitress to bring our hookah which I believed to be a bit long. She did however apologize for the delay. We saw she was pretty busy anyway since she was the only one actually working. Im not sure that I'd go back. The service needs improvement and I didn't really enjoy paying $24 for 30 minutes of hookah and 2 medium sized fruit smoothies. read more

Just had a visit here. The place is located in a strip mall that seems to be pretty popular and is well lit. The neighborhood also seems pretty nice. My buddy ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were awesome. The waitress was friendly and attentive, answering any questions that we had. The hookah selection was pretty different with choices from pretty well known brands (Al Farkhar, Starbuzz, and Fumari) as well as some house flavors. But if you keep walking theres a nice setup of some couches tables and tvs for a hookah lounge. The hookah is pretty solid and its at a pretty good price compared to a lot of the spots out there now. We asked for a menu and it took the waitress about a half hour to come back and ask if we wanted to order something. Because maybe it's normal to just admire the menu or something? Then there's this confusing bull about how each person has to buy something that is $5 and up? So basically, two people can't share a hookah because they each don't spend $5. The hookah wasn't bad, but it burned very quickly. The menu is extremely skimpy, there were about 10-15 flavored to choose from, which sucked. The server/hostess was busy flirting with some guy at the counter most of the time, so I didn't get very good service. On top of that, she brought out my tea with the $00.20 tea bag still in it. If you're going to use tea bags, take the damn thing out before serving it. The server was the farthest thing from friendly. The owner is very nice, the guy who works in the front where they sell retail is very nice, and I'll continue buying tobacco here because the pricing isn't horrible. The hookahs are gewat and if you have a problem with them they fix the problem right away to a point that they will change the hookah for you if the problem is still there.. I've been to several hookah bars before and I started going to this one in August of 2011 and it is my favorite by far. I went there so much i even work there now. The staff(including myself) is always friendly and we make sure to tend to our customers. The hookahs are larger than the ones most hookah bars use and we have a great variety of shisha and flavors. Starbuzz and Fantansia tend to be the most popular. They are both great tasting shishas that produce amazing smoke and amazing flavor. However, I am in love with the Hookafina brand which has a whole .5% nicotine instead of .05%. There are also cheaper shishas available such as Al Fakher,Hookah-Hookah, and Cuzzins. So you will be sure to find a shisha that you like at Havana Hookah. The environment is also great as well. There are cozy couches and a bed to lay on. The music is always changing so you don't hear the same thing over and over again, and we make sure to keep the music at a decent level so you don't have to yell over it and are capable of hearing the tv. As for food, we offer basic things like french fries, chicken tenders, and mozarella sticks and we have many,many drinks to choose from. So please come on in and give it a try, especially on Sundays when the Bears are playing and hopefully winning. I promise you won't regret it. read more
