A little hidden gem in Addison! We were attempting to get a table at another hookah lounge but they were booked, so we pulled up Yelp and wound up here. How lucky for us because this place was just wonderful! There is no shortage of comfortable seating arrangements for parties of various sizes inside so we were able to quickly find a seat. They have plenty of TVs and were playing some basketball games which was great for us, because we were hoping to catch some of the game. They advertised on their window that they had games but I couldn't find any but other tables seemed to have found (or brought their own) decks of cards and other games. The selection of hookah was great. Lots of different flavors, strengths, and brands at various price points. Like someone else mentioned in their review there is a minimum per person so you have spent $x just by walking through the door and can choose what you use it for. We wound up going over, but not unreasonably so. For two of us, we got one hookah, one repack, one coffee, one soda, and one smoothie for $40 on the nose. I thought it was a great price point for a night out! We will definitely be back! read more

I have been coming to Mo Shesha for years, and it does not disappoint. Honestly, the best value hookah bar I've ever been to. The set up of their services is amazing. Here's an example: 5 people are in your party. You all pay $10 each up front. You now have $50 on your tab to spend it on their menu however you like. You can choose whatever you want and it is not limited to the hookah itself. If you use $25 of that $50 on your hookah, you now have $25 to spend on drinks, snacks, or more hookah! I love that business model. You really get a good value here. They also have one of those "cool" rooms where you can sit on the floor with your group and just sprawl out. That's the best part. However, there is ample seating with multiple couches and chairs that you're never uncomfortable. The staff is well trained and informative, and can easily guide you to having your personal best experience. read more

I first discovered this place when my friend N brought me here in the fall of 2010, and I have been "hooked on hookah" ever since. Well I have actually done hookah for many years but this place has really made it very enjoyable again. Whenever I walk into Mo Sheesha, I immediately get the feeling of being welcome. The ambiance is great in here: leather couches, drapes, hanging plants, Middle Eastern music, and of course, the sweet fragrance of various hookahs as it stings the nostrils. Mo has added a wonderful 21st century kick to this hookah bar with TV's hanging in every direction to keep the wandering mind occupied. You can pretty much sit anywhere in this place, as long as its empty. Generally speaking, you can find a seat Sunday through Thursday at any time and Friday and Saturday it gets busy after 9pm in which case you may have to wait. They have good waitresses and Mo helps out when he can. The food is limited but pretty good (we usually get some pita and hummus). The teas, smoothies, and drinks are great. They also have various games you can play. Our favorite is Monopoly Deal, love that game! They have hookahs for sale too; another friend of mine bought one from here at a reasonable price. As far as the hookah flavors, they are great. Our favorites are Habba Gabba, Triple B, and Misty Orange right now. Wish they would come with a good mint mix as well because I have always been a fan of mint hookah. I always see Mo and his staff cleaning the hookahs and they also taste fresh, so I know I'm getting a good, clean smoke. Also, try to get a single hose hookah if possible, they usually smoke a bit better and you don't have to worry about your ignorant friend named N to plug the other hose. I've been going to hookah lounges in Chicago for a long long time and unfortunately, this city with its surrounding suburbs is not the greatest for hookah fanatics. However, for the very few good ones that are here, I would say Moe Shehsa is one of the best, and by far the best in the suburbs. The crowd is chill and the staff is accommodating. The hookah is usually on point and you always know its going to be about $10-12 per person. It's nice in the summertime if you are lucky enough to get a seat outside on a good day with a light breeze, especially during Ramadan. Came here to meet a couple friends and was semi-hoping to meet Brandy. #MoeshaJoke Was pleasantly surprised that outside food was allowed, so I asked my friends who were already there what they wanted and walked in with a giant bag of Wendy's $1 menu items, while everyone stared at me like I was a delivery boy. #Classy Service was super attentive and friendly. Our favorite hookah bar was sold recently, so we are sampling different lounges nearby just to see what else is available since we were going to the same one for the longest time. This was the choice for the evening. VERY good service, friendly and attentive ladies that checked on us at least five times in the hour and a half we were there. The prices are based on purchase alone (aka no minimums, me likey) and the tobacco was strong. One of the servers even helped us make a decision by being honest about the fruit bowls (apparently they do not add to the flavor, only keeps the tobacco cold) so we opted for a fruit juice base with mango mint mix. It was delightful! Even though I ordered the guava smoothie (which I take to mean creamy for whatever reason), it was more like an icy juice - - even though it didn't meet what I was expecting, it was still tasty. The best part of this place: I CAN HEAR MYSELF TALK. I had trouble doing that at most trendy hookah lounges in the Schaumburg area - I felt like I truly was at a lounge and not a night club. I like the music but a small downside to me was the three TVs were all playing the same sports channel - I'm not a big fan of sports, especially when they are talking but I have no idea what's being said since they have no sound. I've only been to a few hookah places, but from what I've learned thus far in my hookah-ing, is that this place is more the intimate and chill variety. Place is very clean too , even the bathroom (which is important to me). The whole place is decorated very Arabian-ie and even the music has the same theme which can be cool or annoying depending on who you are. I personally like the decor, it adds to the whole feel of the hookah. My only beef is that you can't always "taste" the "flavors" of the hookah and it "tastes" like a giant cigarette,which I guess it is but you get my point. If I order pineapple or mango I want to taste pineapple and mango. (i.e. there's a hookah place I go to in St Louis where the fruit very flavor is VERY strong with the hookah and of course more enjoyable). Other than that, the servers are pretty nice but they tend to keep small groups or I guess people they don't know at the stiff uncomfortable chairs and keep larger groups (people they know??!) in the comfy looking plush areas. I say if your place is half empty, it should be first come first served. Just my thought. read more

This place is pretty far from where I live, but my friends and I needed a new hookah lounge to try out. This is the only hookah lounge I've been to that has fresh fruit hookah! No other hookah lounges has that option here. I've only had it in New York (it's offered in mostly every hookah lounge there). I liked everything about this place except for their charcoal change every 25 minutes (they change everyone's charcoal all at the same time). So every time it was my turn to smoke, it died out on me. I wish they would just change the charcoals whenever they died out and not wait to change everyone's all at the same time. That's why I left one star out. The service and the music were good though. Most lounges don't even play Arabic music, but they did. Overall, I would go back to Mo Shesha lounge. read more

I love this place we had an absolute blast. You go in sit down and choose which flavor you want. There are daily specials and a happy hour. The two of us smoked a mini hookah for around 2 hours for $10. It would have been $8 but we wanted to mix 2 different flavors. I will be bringing friends here very soon. Well worth the 2 hour drive. This place is really cool and the hosts are very nice and hospitable. I was greeted very warmly and welcomed as if I was family (my first time here). My waiter was very patient with me and suggested some awesome custom mixes which tasted so great!! I had told him that my palette was tired of smoking the same thing at home and I wanted to try something new. He knew exactly what to suggest to make my smoking session amazing. I've been to a few hookah lounges and to be honest, not everyone in the Chicago area knows how to make a decent hookah. These people have a good selection of hookahs to use from including the Khalil mamoon ice hookahs. They also do a good job making it as well. The customers there are laid back and chill, and not the crazy rowdy young college types, which I can appreciate. Mostly middle eastern guests with your typical middle eastern hospitality. read more
