Use EXTREME caution when going here. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and I have since been dealing with an infection on my toe. I have had to go to urgent care to get prescribed an antibiotic topical cream to fight the infection. I was told it was likely the result of them having dirty water/bowls and/or using dirty tools. During my pedicure I expressed to the woman that she was hurting me by digging so deep into my nail bed. I have never had that kind of pain or experience when getting a pedicure at other places. I will probably never be getting a pedicure again as a result of this experience. read more

I always get flat or square tips. So when the staff asked me what kind of shape, I replied square. He went on to shape them round. I didn't object because at first I didn't know he was rounding them. When I spoke to the manager afterwards, she kept asking me to show her a picture of the nails - what is the point: regardless of the photo, you're padding on services customers didn't request. I came in on August 20th to get a fill. On Saturday the 23rd my thumb nail snapped off while I was drying my hair. I went in Sunday the 24th to get it fixed, the shape doesn't match but it was fixed so I didn't say anything. On Wednesday the 27th the left hand pointer finger started lifting, Thursday the 28th the right pointer finger started lifting. I called that night to see if I could come in and get it repaired on Friday. The gentleman who answered my call told me I couldn't come in tomorrow unless I just wanted to wait until something opened up but if I could come right then he could fix it. It was 7pm and I couldn't come in. I asked about just doing a refund because three separate issues within a week isn't normal and was told they don't do refunds. I'm here now to get them fixed and was told it would be 25 minutes, it's been over an hour and I'm still waiting. I asked if anyone else could help me faster and was told no that only the person who did my nails could fix them. I asked after an hour of waiting if he knew how much longer it would be and he said he didn't, she'd come get me when she was done. It's bad enough to have three separate issues within a week of service but the way it has been handled, or avoided, is disappointing to say the least. read more

So.. I finally decided to try the new place in my neighborhood and it was meh. It is a place I may go in a hurry since its close to me.. but other than that I'll pass. Pros- Upon arrival I noticed how Instagrammable it was. There is an Ivy wall with cool neon lights and even a V.I.P room, very fancy. The chairs were comfortable, and offered the kneading option on the control panel. Pedicure instruments were fresh out the package and they used a liner for the basin, which I prefer. So far so good. The service was again, meh. I basically paid 45.00 for an " express" service pedicure. I was in and out the chair in less than 30 mins. This was by far the fastest pedi I ever recieved. Things were not attended too.. and he only massaged one leg. Did I pay for 2 and only get 1? Cons- Looking for friendly service?? You may want to go elsewhere.. Also if wanting designs.. this may not be for you either. They overbooked us too, so we decided not to wait for mani's and will go elsewhere. Conclusion... This place is reliably good. Very good ambience for bridal parties and for going with a friend for a fun date. Facilities are clean. I always go in for a full "gel fill" and am never disappointed. I've never tried getting anything fancy as far as designs go so I couldn't attest to whether or not this would be the best place to go for that or not. Im usually in and out within about an hour and a half for a full gel fill and they have always been very timely with honoring appointments. The staff seems very friendly and not "abused" if that makes sense. Last time I left without noticing a slight issue with a nail and immediately went back and they fixed it right away no questions asked. It's not a mom and pop neighborhood joint but its also not a super fancy schmancy salon....its kinda in between. Gel fill ran about $40ish. read more

I've gone to this place twice and both times my gel manicure didn't last more than 3 days .3 days??? They aren't pricing their services cheap either. I got a pedicure the second time I went as well, and 4 days later my nail literally chipped. My nails have all chipped and torn less than a week later. I finally settled on black with a silver accent nail. I asked for shorter coffin nails (which I've gotten before, at this location) and was told they couldn't do it because it would "look silly". Terrible 1st experience. I went into the salon with my 4 year old they were charging me $72 for a kids mani & pedi with gel polish !!! Ridiculous they don't even charge that much in New York. My pedicure was great the place is fancy but the service chairs are not comfortable at all. I was not given the option for massage on the pedi chair nor offered the complimentary drink as their flyer stated. I also requested a ombré dip with tips in a coffin shape with a nail design and the ombré is terrible as well as the shapes of the nails which I asked for the tech to not even do the design since everything else was terrible. I had to go pick my other kids up from daycare so I did not even bother to complain I went in at 3pm and left at 5:15 with a terrible job!! Inside it's beautiful with a floral wall, and flowers hanging from the ceiling. However ambiance is the only thing going for it. Upon entering, you have to sign in at a tablet. No one will greet you, and there are no service menus available for you to choose what type of service you'd like to receive. Then the pedicure chairs... While pretty, they are not comfortable nor promote relaxation. Back in the pedicure area is where you finally get prices, and they are higher in price than other salons. Gel polish is a $16 addition. The tech I got as a walk-in didn't understand English so even when I was trying to explain what I wanted I wasn't heard. The service was blah, no massage, paint was blotchy, and I'm sad I spent my rare trip out from momming to come here. I don't see this place staying in business long. The fake flowers are going to get dusty and nasty fast, and the way they are displayed make it difficult if not impossible to clean. White furniture is a terrible idea for longevity, its going to look nasty FAST, and its already apparent with stains on the waiting room chairs, and the place has not been open a month. The pedicure chairs need to be replaced with ones that have more features like kneading, rolling, and height adjustment. There is a lack of customer service here. No welcome at the door, but there is a guy that will just sit there and not talk to you. The services received are lacking the same quality as other salons in the local area. Beautiful instagramable salon, however none of the future is comfortable to receive services. I went in for a gel pedicure and dip. The pedicure chairs even at the closest they could be, still had me outstretched so that the tech could provide pedicure services. The Bankhead sofas for manicure services are uncomfortable to sit on and even with a pillow to support your back, couldn't provide the needed support. I am 5'2 and had to sit on the edge of the sofa for the technician to be able to provide service. I really enjoyed the quality of service; too bad the furniture will have me second guess whether I return. read more

i used to work at this establishment and i can say from personal experience, this place is very unclean. the nail techs that care about their tools will actually clean them, however the others don't care and only care about the money. i went to go use cuticle clippers from jessie's supposedly clean tools (they were in the blue sterilization pouch), the nail clippers came out as well and i realized there was brown nail clippings jammed in there. that was in the managers/ owners tools... disgusting. not only that but she has admitted to over charging people simply because of their race.. also disgusting. they reuse the same stick when doing waxes, they use the same stick for the brazilian and your face after doing so. people have came back wondering why their face is breaking out.. that's why. this shop is taking a turn for the worse. i would recommend going anywhere else but here. read more

When you first walk in the place looks very cute and Instagrammable but when you get back to the pedicure area the chairs look dirty and worn. Mine had pieces of someone else's hair and when I asked for a wipe to wipe the chair and hair off, the woman doing my pedi could not understand me at all. Although they used the pedicure bags there was still visible dirt around the basin (picture attached). My toes looked okay definitely not the best pedi I've had but no real complaints there. I honestly couldn't get past the dirty look of the chairs but overall pedi wasn't terrible (hence the 2 stars). Will not be returning. read more

I really wanted to love this place because it was so chic and pretty. However..that was pretty much it because it seems like they don't know what they are doing. I got my nails done which I did not like because I paid over $120 for a full set that I was not satisfied with. The shape was not good, the nail was bumpy, there were dust particles from the drilling under my polish because I was not told to wash my hands. I went back to get it fixed and my mail is bumpy and looks like waves because it is not smooth. I really wanted to love this place but I also felt uncomfortable when I told them about the issues.. it seem like I was begging for them to do my nail and I was on their time. The upgraded pedicures are on the pricey side but a classic pedicure is $29.00. I would choose to get a classic pedicure next time rather than the upgraded pedicure which double the money for not much difference. I suggest that the upgrade pedicures should come with a longer massage for the price difference. It was a treat for my Mom so it felt worth it but wouldn't upgrade again. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I made an appointment for a gel pedicure and dip manicure. After waiting 10 minutes I was finally brought back for my pedicure. The gel remover they use burns your skin which was horrible. Then during my pedicure a manager came over and told the nail tech to speed it up which was really inappropriate, but what made it worse is he sped up just for me to have to have to wait 15 more minutes to get my fingers done. Nobody soaked my fingers during my pedicure so I had to wait while that was done before my manicure could start. I didn't get the shape I asked for, the shape is inconsistent, and the color is so splotchy due to the dip process not being done correctly. 2.5 hours of my time wasted. I'm so upset I tried this place and will very obviously not returning. read more

upon going into the nail salon there was a sign up still for 20% off. When I went in I was told now it's 10% off. First sign, false advertising. I waited in the salon about 20 minutes before someone did my pedicure. Then followed by the same person doing my manicure. spending over 3 1/2 hours in a place that was slow is NOT ok.
