Great website and service. Sold two apartments almost immediately after listing. I tried the FSBO option and all I got was agents looking for a listing who had absolutely zero interest in bringing a customer without getting the listing (they were not even interested in commission). I started looking around for the best flat fee service and figured I'd give hauseit a shot, for the small price of $350 you can't lose. Realtors wanted 5-6%, with the cost of houses in NYC this percentage translates to a lot of money. Hauseit gave me the opportunity to offer whatever commission I wanted to offer and it gave me the flexibility of doing everything on my own including advertisment. Which was another area that I felt realtors were weak in (poor photos, poor descriptions etc). I sold two apartments and paid half the commission I would have paid for ONE apartment with a traditional realtor. Told a friend about the website and he sold his place in a week. My experience with Hauseit was great. From my first call, Chris Zhou explained the process and answered all my questions. I was then assigned Margaret Michalski as my agent who was wonderful. I ended up purchasing a new construction condo where there was very poor communication from the seller agent.
