Tried this place for the first time earlier today. The place gets super busy, & they don't take reservations. However, can be placed on a waitlist & they call / text when a table is ready. Which i liked. We got seated around the tentative time they gave. Customer service was great. The patio views were pretty. I took a star off because although the food was good, I didn't think it was an 1.5 wait good. We ordered the chips & salads which was pretty good, & the PB&J burger to try something different. The burger was just a burger to us. Nothing special. We ordered two Moscow mules as well. Those were okay. We had a Moscow mule at the Connor hotel prior, & that drink was way better. Overall , to me it's overhyped. The esthetic is cool, but not worth the wait. I rather go to the BBQ place a street down for the drinks & food.

Hands down The best burger! We have been here twice now and both times have been amazing. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the restaurant decor is that of an old haunted house. It's just so unique, you must come here for the experience, the food, and, just for bragging rights to say that you have been to one of the coolest places ever! Also, don't sleep on the salted caramel milk shake! It's delicious! Did I mention the views? Breathtaking!

Place was really fun to go to and delicious too. The chicken fingers appetizer was delicious as well as the sauces it caned with. The ranch and buffalo were flavorful and worth it. The burger itself and fries you can tell are fresh and not frozen or premade. The interior of the place is also nice and cute as it has that old town feel. Mixed with the decorations inside and outside to give it a Halloween and horror type feel. I bet this place is really fun to attend to on Halloween. Will have to come back here again in the future one day.

LOVED the vibe! I am all about kitschy touristy places! Our service was really nice and attentive. I thought the food was surprisingly good but family thought it was just ok. We started with deviled eggs which were SO bland, that was a huge bummer! My husband had bison burger and thought it was good. Son had meatloaf and did not like it. He also had Ghirardelli caramel shake and that was by far the best thing ever! I had the chicken sandwich and really liked it.

Our waitress was the best and she could sing! Great food, excellent customer service, great ghost stories, love the set up. Sat outdoors with my dogs, busy but kept lines moving. Lots of parking but get there early. When we're left it was a 45 minute wait.

While in Jerome, we had lunch at the Haunted Hamburger. The building was a former boarding house for miners . We were fortunate to be seated in the view bar with stunning views of the Verde Valley. Service was outstanding. I don't recall our servers name , but she was so kind and attentive. She had the warmest personality. My husband had the Chipotle Deviled Eggs and one of their Signature items, the Bourbon Jalapeño Bacon Bison Burger and Jalapeño Cole Slaw side. He enjoyed everything and I did try the coleslaw and it had a kick to it and a bit too spicy for me! I had the pastrami burger with fries. Burgers are not my go to food choice, but this sounded intriguing and after our server described it I had to try it and it was amazing . It was a juicy burger topped with pastrami, bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing. The blend of flavors complimented one another . My only complaint, it was large and messy.... haha. They have a decent drink menu with a variety of beer selections. Our lunch far surpassed our expectations and was delicious.

I highly recommend the is place. We live in California and we have been to this place multiple times and every time it is great! I love the coleslaw! One of my favorite places to go. Prices are good , good service and really cool building and view.

Burger & side salad

We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend. It was worth the bit off our route to Sedona. We were seated quickly, we chose outdoor seating for the amazing views. The burgers were so good and they are huge. I ate half and loved the leftovers too. Ordered with the salad which was also great. They also had yummy old fashioned malts. This is not a big place so keep in mind if you have a large group. Also parking is sparse directly across from the restaurant. But there is parking lower down the hill if you don't mind hiking up a bunch of stairs. We got lucky with a spot across the street. Great staff & service. I will definitely go again if I'm back in the area.

100% yum and friendly amazing service (thank you Janae!). We had 2 pups in tow and were seated on their covered and enclosed patio. Janae was WONDERFUL and took great care of us. We did the tasty deviled eggs, I did a burger and my husband did the meatloaf sandwich. Food was very good and we just loved the vibe of this restaurant. I hit the gift shop for some swag, oh and we squeezed in some scrumptious dessert that is homemade so be advised don't over do it on the main course! Would come back for the service alone!

So after a long drive outside of Phoenix through the beautiful countryside, we finally get to this town that I've never heard of before. It was a famous mining town back in the 1800s and when they pulled out, it became a ghost town, but people came back and bought property and fixed it up and turned it into the destination that you see today. Most places do well if they can say they're haunted. Well, most of the places here are spirit themed as there seems to be a prolific number of ghost sightings in the town. When you get there, you can imagine Old gunslingers going up and down the street and swinging a bottle on one hand and shoot a pistol on there and the other. But the views are stunning from everywhere you go they look out over the valley across these red ridges. It's just amazing. When we got to the front door and came inside, there was a long line of people waiting to get their name on the list. Some people were very impatient left early and that just pushed us up to the top pretty fast. I couldn't have waited more than 10 to15 minutes. They took us to a patio outside next to the main building and it overlooked the valley and you could have your food there and enjoy the view. Everyone we met there from the front door to the receptionist to the lady that took us to our table to the server. We're all incredibly beautiful wonderful individuals. They were so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated that. But when the food started coming. I was literally gobsmacked. It was gorgeous on the plate and the flavors only improved what I was seeing. I recommend anything on the menu because what I ordered. I was busy tasting the other food of our group around me and everything was spot on perfect. I highly recommend this place to go.

The staff graciously seated us 2 minutes before closing and still served us delicious food. I always hate being "one of those people" who show up right before closing, but we arrived in town later than expected and they were the last place open. I am very grateful for their kindness. We ordered a BBQ burger and a garden burger, which were both delicious. The bun was good, the patty was cooked well, and the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. I highly recommend giving this place a try and sitting on the patio overlooking Jerome.

Haunted Hamburger in Jerome is such a gem! The veggie burger does not disappoint . I may not eat beef but that doesn't mean I don't love a great burger! The veg burger is flavorful, hearty, and perfectly made, with the real old school thin, grilled buns. Diner fries just as you would expect. Sitting out on the patio with an incredible view overlooking the Verde Valley makes the meal even better. The staff are super attentive and bring such a fun, welcoming burger joint vibe. Definitely worth the stop!

This place shouldn't claim it's dog friendly when the hostess wouldn't allow me to bring dog in the bathroom because I was traveling solo.

This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.

The atmosphere was fun! Had a couple glasses of wine and went to listen to the live music outside…read more I love the decor in this bar with everything written in chalk on a chalkboard. The bartender was nice and efficient. It's also really cool that there are several games at the bar that you can play while you are drinking. Will definitely visit again.
