I have a 2 bedroom and 1 bath and it's really spacious and when I moved in it was very clean, tidy, and had everything I needed except for my clothes of course! The beds are really comfortable, as is the couch and love seat. I only have glowing things to say about this apartment complex. I do my laundry at my boyfriend's, so I don't have to pay for that here, but the fact that EVERYTHING is included otherwise (ALL utilities including internet, furniture, appliances, bed linens, towels, etc etc) makes having to pay a tiny bit for laundry not a big deal at all. I think some of the more negative reviews were posted a while back. The grounds are absolutely beautiful - they keep the area very well maintained. I'm planning on staying here temporarily for some personal reasons, but honestly, I'd love to stay here longer term, ha!

This is a hidden gem when it comes to these kinds of apartments; you're tucked in the woods near the wonderful powder mill walking trails instead of being stuck in a parking lot somewhere. I appeared at the property for a scheduled move-in orientation at 10:00 AM and was told, only after I arrived, that my application had not been approved and that the orientation had been canceled. No one notified me before the appointment. The issue is not that additional review was required. The issue is that the property allowed me to show up for an orientation that could not take place and failed to communicate that fact in advance. As a professional and business owner, I value clear communication and respect for people's time. Unfortunately, I experienced neither. Based on my experience, prospective residents should make sure they have written confirmation of final approval before rearranging their schedules or making plans based on information provided by the leasing office.

Luckily Mark Management took over in February, and it has been fantastic management ever since. Kelly & and the rest of the front office in addition to the maintenance team are kind, prompt and thorough. When moving in maintenance helped throw out my boxes and were present the entire day to facilitate the move. The few times something has needed tending to, the maitenanance team has responded within the same day. Everyone here is extremely friendly and always available to ask any questions. The property itself is beautiful and the cleaners clean daily to keep the property in top shape. Additionally, the surrounding area is fantastic and truly convenient. Loving living here.

The pool is great (a bit cold at times, but if you ask maintenance they can make it warmer and it is so awesome); they have free yoga classes 3 times per week which has been a highlight for me; they have a grill area that is super nice; the business center is also very useful; and last but not least, Russo's market is right across the street :) I haven't dealt with the new office staff too much, the previous staff was not great. We had a lot of issues with noise from the apartment above, and it was very very hard to get these issues resolved. I would say that the community could improve the following: 1. Having a restroom in the grill area (you have to go up to the apartment or go to the main building) 2. Allowing 24 hour access to common areas (right now they close at 10 pm) 3. Having more / better signs for the buildings, there are no signs that indicate where each building is and people always struggle coming here for the first time. All in all, we really love living here! Our only problem and why we wouldn't stay here much longer is the high rent prices. Our first year living here, we got a special, so it made it much more manageable, but starting on yr 2, the special was over and rent increased and it is now pretty expensive.

Most recently my shower wouldn't shut off and when I called emergency maintenance a worker came who didn't know how to fix the issue. He left the water running instead of fixing it and had to call his someone to walk him through every step!!!! Who are these so called "handymen" hired by Bozzuto?! Every time we complain to property management we are met with incompetence, finger pointing, and an inability to take accountability/fix issues. Ed Welsh is terrible at his job.

I can't speak to other…read morereviewers' experiences when checking out the place, but I have lived at Brigham Square for two-plus years now. Indoor amenities are generally great. I use the gym five days a week and it's usually in very good condition, with things put away and antibacterial wipes for machines available. The free coffee is viciously cannibalized by residents, but who can blame us? The theater room is a little hit and miss as the couches aren't the most comfortable things in the world and people are often in there using the wifi. Outdoor amenities are similarly well kept and the grills are in constant use all summer, though I can't say I've ever seen the fire pit in operation. They've improved the roof deck and it's usually empty whenever I've been up there and they've taken out the privacy rooms which has expanded the area greatly. You're also right on the Minuteman bike path which is great for exercising or general outdoor recreation. Whenever we've put in a service request, it's been attended to within 24 hours - usually within 4-6, even on weekends. The management employees are extremely friendly and outgoing and take the time to get to know residents. The management company also holds events throughout the year to bring residents together. Sometimes they're holiday-related, sometimes they're general "appreciation weeks," but it's nice that they let me walk in, fill a plate, smile and leave after a long day of work. When the property was built they included two detached buildings for commercial purposes. One small enclosed one that looks like an ATM hut and one larger building. Unfortunately an urgent care went into the larger building (honestly, I was hoping for FOOD) and the smaller one remains vacant. C'est la vie. Finally, you're located within walking distance of multiple bus routes that go to Alewife or Porter and Harvard Squares, which makes commuting easier (It's still the T).

Location is supreme. The bus to Alewife is right outside and to the left of building. No ambulances, police, or traffic disturbing you. There isa safe short and paved path to the "bike" path. Parking rates are reasonable. All of Arlington Center's offerings are near-by.
