Been living here for almost a year and our experience has been great so far! The staff is wonderful and the leasing office is the best. They go above and beyond to ensure residents have a good living experience in terms of residential events etc. They don't lease to undergrad (a huge plus) so the building is so quite and professional. Although I was a little bit nervous about living in downtown/Chinatown, the building location is actually a plus! It's very close from seaport, financial district, and back bay. Also close to the green and orange line. Definitely one of our best apartment living experience and highly recommend living here. read more

I lived at One Greenway for a while in 2017 before relocating for work. I have to say that the steep price tag on these apartments doesn't match the experience of living here. The building itself is relatively nice, it's new & modern, and has some good amenities like 24/7 concierge, on-site gym, bulk wash/dryer laundry room, and nice common areas to work and study in. Also, building maintenance seems to be attentive. For me it stopped there. Other than the incredibly high rent, the location/neighborhood were the biggest drawbacks for me. Without having a car in Boston I relied on my chance to walk to almost everywhere I needed to be. The Chinatown neighborhood is just not the greatest neighborhood in Boston. It's dirty with visible trash strewn around and frequently a shady character or two roaming. To add, the building sits right on top of a busy intersection and the entrance to one of the busiest freeways in the state. I was constantly worried about being hit in that intersection and it nearly happened twice. Uber drivers also have a tough time picking you up right outside the building due to the odd location and positioning of the streets. The inside of my apartment was nice because it was new. But for a building that touts itself as "luxury" and certainly charges a luxury price tag, there were noticeable details missing. The carpets were rough (the cheap kind they put in office buildings), the baseboards were rubber, and there wasn't a single drawer in the entire apartment. Not in the kitchen nor in the bathrooms (drawers are more expensive than cabinets), ventilation was an issue (it was always stuffy in the apartment). I just noticed a lot of little details they missed and areas where they obviously went cheap. Lastly, it was unsettling to be connected to the low income housing. They were right down the hall from us separated only by an unlocked door. read more

The concept of dynamic pricing here means that if you don't sign your contract within 24 hours of viewing the apartment you want, the price can and WILL go up. They are ridiculous to deal with, walking away from over $30,000 in annual rent for a $1,000 surcharge I refused to pay by missing their randomly imposed deadline by hours. They don't value people, they do this for the pretentious facade of luxury living driving up prices by fake demand metrics. It's like those clubs that make you stand in line outside to pay a cover and make it seem like it's the hottest place in town when in reality, it's empty inside. Hype. Hype. Hype. Cons: * infested with rats both in the walls and in loading dock. * building connected to income restricted housing 88 hudson and is accessible to one greenway building by a unlocked door on each floor which is safety issue. * attached 88 Hudson income restricted building is known for crime and a violent shooting over past year which poses safety concern. * property management company rents out unused apartments to AirBnB which poses safety concern. * rent is high for lack of "luxury" amentities and includes no utilities. * only wired for Xfinity which is in violation of FCC apartment exclusivity deal. * water bill is high for small apartment. *no grills on property, closest one is around back of building by 88 Hudson and is always out of propane. *carpets and common area in lobby smell like urine. * entryways constantly blocked due to construction to get rid of urine smell. * social events are usually not free and is price tag attached to them which adds to cost. * dirty neighborhood and always homeless people or drug addicts around building, felt very unsafe since you have to walk to back of building to dog area. * no pet relief station in building. *management has heard issues but not tried to remediate. * no pool. *loud sirens, ambulances, and traffic at all hours. *can get to each floor by using stairs,safety concern *garbage piles up in loading dock and on each trash room of each floor. Overall, there are much better competitively priced apartments in the area that offer better views, better safety options and amentities, while One greenway is not the worst the price does not match what you get. read more

We spent a year at One Greenway and had a wonderful experience. Perfect for a working professional with a pet. The Team: Becca and Danielle / leasing team is extremely friendly. The front desk concierge is professional and responsive even after my lease is over. They are consistently friendly and really make an effort to make sure your living experience is great.The maintenance team/manager is very quick to respond to service requests. Packages are kept in secure room and retrieved upon request by concierge (unlike other luxury buildings that leaves boxes out for resident to claim). Floorplan/Amenities: Our one bedroom floorplan was perfect for one person and a dog. Lots of cabinetry in kitchen. Appreciated that the petwash is always clean and spacious. There is even a laundromat room to wash comforters/pet bed. I've been living here for a while now. This place is a huge disappointment. When you first tour the building they tell you it's awesome and there are no problems with it, etc. There a few good points: the building is brand new so the quality of the apartments (finishing, floor , carpet etc) is very good. The concierge people are very friendly. BUT NOISE IS A VERY HUGE PROBLEM. There are constructions in the building all day. Very loud noises. Not only that, after midnight there are a loud road repair works too. That's a nightmare, it literally wakes you up every night . EVERY NIGHT. Staying here is very stressful. The windows aren't noise canceling, but they are a cheap poor quality. The management knows about the noise problems but aren't doing anything about it. Nothing to compensate and nothing to solve the issue. I think THE LEAST they can do is to replace those poor quality windows and to drop the rent, but I know for sure they won't. Second, the location of this building is very inconvenient. It looks as if it's near downtown, but honestly there aren't any shops or coffees within reasonable walking distance. Public transportation isn't good, Boylston train station is 10 minutes walking, which in Boston standard is a lot. Third, the rent is high, very high. On top of that, you have to pay for electricity , water, parking , trash and even sewer! Fourth, a lot of stuff here are broken, from the shower to the oven etc etc, it takes forever to fix. I can go on and on and list more and more problems. But what I said is enough. Especially the noise, it's a nightmare . read more

My husband and I have lived at One Greenway for almost 2 years and are sad that we are moving out soon as we are relocating for work. The Bozzuto team that manages this building is really amazing. When we moved from Europe 2 years ago, we knew no one in the city and the team went out of their way to make us feel at home immediately and to help us settle in, from working after hours to finish to our paperwork so we could move in within a day, to taking phone calls for us as we did not have US cellphones yet in our first days. Jacky, the manager, is highly professional and makes sure everything in the building runs very smoothly. At the same time she is also really kind and cares about the personal situation of her residents and helps resolve any issues very quickly. Sam, the concierge greets us by name every evening, which is so sweet and impressive. The building has all the typical amenities you would expect from a luxury apartment building and more. A few of my favorite things: there are always fresh flowers in the lobby, free weekly yoga and cross fit classes with good teachers (so convenient to not have to go outside to a studio in the winter), roof top terrace and fun community events every so often. The apartments are high quality too, we never had any issues with things breaking or wearing down and never had any issues with neighbors either. The rent prices are in line with what you would expect for living in the center of Boston. The website prices of available units do seem to fluctuate quite significantly based on seasonality and occupancy, so depending on when you are looking to move, you might get a better or worse deal than your neighbors. I see some comments about the neighborhood. As a woman, who often gets home from work after dark, I have never felt unsafe around the building and walking to and from South Station. Because the building is next to Chinatown, there are always families with kids, elderly people or couples out and about so the streets don't feel shady and you are never alone. This is a very different vibe from when you get closer to Downtown Crossing/Boston Common. Also, there are so many great restaurants within walking distance, after 2 years we still haven't gone through all of the ones we want to visit yet. The location is super convenient as it is only 8 minutes walking to red, green and orange line T stops and South station for buses/trains. Airport is a 15 minutes drive. I lived at One Greenway for 2 years - moving in December 2015, and just moved out this past December. Over the course of those 2 years, I'll say that there were noticeable changes (for the good and bad). The management company does a good job with constructive feedback and will quickly address questions or concerns. Maintenance issues have almost always been addressed the same day, and the concierges are wonderful. The common areas are well maintained, and the apartments themselves are spacious. If you are a city commuter and work in the Financial District, Fort Point or Seaport, the walk is quick and easy. The conveniences listed above are great. But speaking for me personally, the price tag for what you get here is the biggest problem. I don't want to judge other reviewers that are calling this the best place ever, but... you really love shelling out $3K+ a month to live here? I don't know. It just wasn't for me and the steady rent increases for a neighborhood that is, in fact, not the greatest (I mean, there's trash everywhere and it's attached to a lower income housing apartment building where people do not pick up after their dogs and there are rats everywhere -- walking to WFM on Saturday mornings you will see all the dead ones on your way) are tough to swallow. I wouldn't say I felt unsafe in the neighborhood, but there's definitely more panhandling here than other neighborhoods in city proper. The ventilation in the apartments was pretty miserable, too (like others mentioned), unless it's the winter and you don't want to pay for heat. I'm almost positive I never turned the heat on in my apartment. Even on the coldest day of the year it was 64 inside and all I needed was a sweatshirt, if that. The summer and warmer days were another story - won't miss those. Also, you'll hear everything in your neighbor's apartment. For the most part, this wasn't a problem. Until my most recent neighbor moved in, about 2 months before I moved out, and liked to blast EDM and have parties every Friday and Saturday night with the bass turned WAY up. I hate to be that old lady, but like, why??? I complained once and then suffered through the next month/weeks until I moved out, because it wasn't worth the headache of asking them to knock it off. This is all to say, this isn't the worst place to live, but I would argue it's not the best. The price tag for the neighborhood don't match in my opinion, but if you can overlook that -- I did for 2 years where my apartment literally overlooked Albany Street and the open spot between Albany/Lincoln where homeless people and other shady characters did lord knows what -- this might be the place for you. Stay on top of things though - my last year here in September, I noticed that my water bill jumped from $40/month-$100/month with no rhyme or reason. I didn't notice it until this past year and when I looked back at the previous year, there was a dramatic jump at the same time. Definitely something was going on with that, but it is what it is now. It does make you wonder, does each apartment really have their own water meter? Because that would take a ton of plumbing work when they were building this place. Who knows. read more

My husband and I have been residents since October 2015 Our experiences at One Greenway have been extremely positive so far. Our move in day went very well. Staff & management were very helpful w organizing the move-in process (thank u Torrey) and arranging the service elevator for our moving Co. Honestly, we did not have too many issues that needed tending to in the apt ,however, Bobby & John are always on site if something should come up. I can not say enough positive things about the office staff & the concierge staff. In Both areas everyone is helpful, conscientious and always friendly. Alex, Roxanna, Jessica, Becca & Torrey are always a pleasure to see. As far as our apt goes, we are very comfortable in it. Rooms are a nice size & the layout is an open floor plan which is very nice. We have great views; u can see for miles on a clear day! We chose this building for various reasons, one of which being, its proximity to the main roads that get us to the airport very easily & onto the main roads when we r headed out of the city on the weekends. Also, it is truly a pet friendly building which is also a positive for our family. There is work going on during the day next door. A bank and coffee shop are to b opening soon from what I've been told. We do get emails from Aaron updating us on this work & when it is scheduled to b completed. It is a new building so there is work that is still in the process but won't b going on forever. We really like all the stylish fixtures and decor throughout the building. The lobby is so open, airy and just so welcoming. It's a pleasure to come home to One Greenway! read more

I just moved from London and one of my concerns about start a new life in Boston was about not found a food and comfortable place to live here. I visited several buildings around the city, and honestly Onegreenway was the one that in where I found everything what I was looking for. It's location is really convenient, just a couple of minutes walking to downtown, train station and markets makes of this building a handy place for me, the area is plenty of good alternatives in where to spent my spare time. (Bars, restaurants, shops, coffees, etc). The people working here is simply amazing, all the staff is friendly and helpful, and without any grievance I just could say that they are always ready to help you as soon as they can. The facilities and installations are terrific, it is a new brand building and the maintenance of its from the services offered for the personnel who assist its, let see the great effort that the administration team and all the people working here is making in order that the residents have everything working well. Honestly, I don't have any complaint about Onegreenway during the time I have been living here, I just can said it is a wonderful place that worst what you pay in you rent, and from my experiences about living in different places around the world I highly recommend this place, I don't have any regret about had selected Onegeeenway as my home for the next couple of years. read more

Updating my review to point out a couple things that were missed in my last review: 1. All of these positive reviews are suddenly popping up at the exact same time that management is raffling off red sox tickets. Part of entering the raffle? Post a review and leave your name at the front desk with the site you left the review on. Super shady, too, that management only seems to respond to those 5 star reviews. 2. A huge pro that I completely left out in my last review is the concierge staff and maintenance staff. They are all incredibly nice and accommodating. Also, just like any professionally managed luxury apartment, service requests are almost always (always in my case) same day. It's pretty great to have a problem, submit a request and by the time you're home from work, it's taken care of. Same 3 stars though. I've lived at the Greenway for six weeks now. The experience, overall, has been far above my expectations. The management and all the staff are terrific! They are by far the nicest apartment staff of any of the properties I have lived at. There have been all sorts of freebies, such as free yoga classes, free fitness assessments, free coffee, snacks, gifts for my doggie, and even a month of free parking. My apartment is very upscale compared to properties I viewed on Beacon Hill, and the shared spaces are immaculate and have constant cleaning attention. I love it that everything is brand new with no city grime. I have no noise at night. My apartment is mid-way down Hudson, which might make a difference. I find the surrounding area to be perfect for me. It's safe to walk home at night from any spot in the Theatre District, which makes doing all the shows easy and carefree. Driving out of the city is incredibly easy, much easier than from almost every other spot in downtown. A walk to the MFA is only 35 minutes, a walk to the North End is only 20 minutes, downtown is 5 to 10 minutes, Chinatown (and food all night long), one minute, South Station is five minutes, and the Common and Public Garden are 10 minutes. I highly recommend the property to anyone. read more

Lived here for a year. Constant maintenance problems with the building and really poor air circulation in the units and hallways. Thin walls, thinner windows. I hope you like the sounds of ambulances and police sirens, as Tufts hospital is right next door. I can't imagine how people on the lower floors live with it. Dog poop is an issue here as well. Yikes. The only thing redeeming qualities here included the proximity to other parts of the city and the full time concierge staff were excellent. read more

We have lived in two bozzuto communities in the Boston area. The reason why we chose to stay with the bozzuto community is because they are responsive and professional. One Greenway is a fantastic building. The gym equipments are great, the apartments are spacious for being in the city, and the location is just awesome. We are also facing a very nice view so that's a perk. Many people seem to have issues with the safety of this neighborhood. I agree that it can *seem* sketchy at times, but I have walked alone as a female and it has been fine. I think you just have to be smart (like in any city). The only reason why I did not give five stars is because the ventilation can be a problem. Many other reviews have said the same, so I won't go into the details. My boyfriend and I just moved to Boston from New York City. When we visited One Greenway on the day we looked for apartments, we instantly both knew it was the one. In our first walkthrough, we loved the look of the common spaces and lobby, the countless amenities, the size of the kitchens, the appliances in each apartment, and the layout of the apartment we eventually chose. We also liked the "vibe": this is harder to quantify, but we visited other equivalent buildings in the neighborhood and enjoyed the feel of One Greenway much more. My boyfriend has lived here since June and I have lived here since August. Our high opinions of the place have not changed. There are incredible amenities: the gym has a free fitness class that I take advantage of every week (good for all skill levels!), there are free oversized washers and dryers that we can use to launder bulky items on top of a washer/dryer unit in our apartment itself, there is a guest suite that both of our families have stayed in when they've visited, there is a loading dock that made it incredibly easy to move in, there is a "quiet room" for studying, along with a conference room, party room, rooftop, computers and printers, and seasonal events hosted by the building. There are even grills on the back patio, equipped with all of the necessary tools for grilling (most apartment buildings we looked at when living in NYC provided grills but no means to actually grill with them). We are the first to live in our apartment, and the appliances are incredible (having come from a comparably priced apartment in NYC where my tiny oven didn't cook evenly and my tiny fridge was so damp that all of my food rotted overnight, this is huge plus for me). Any issues we've had with all of the new appliances have been fixed promptly and smoothly, with little to no inconvenience to us. The central air and heat work wonderfully and effectively keep the space cool or hot. The bathroom also is actually well-ventilated, even though it doesn't have a window to the outside (a damp, moldy bathroom was another issue I had in my "luxury" New York City apartment). Alex and Brooke are an incredible doorman and doorwoman. They are both exceptionally friendly and ready to help with anything they can. The night and weekend doormen are also polite and competent. Management is very responsive; our leasing office representative was so kind, patient, and understanding when we asked her to take a million measurements of our apartment before moving in! Management also referred us to an excellent and efficient contractor to mount our new TV. People below have cited issues with noise and neighborhood. Our apartment faces a little-traveled alley in Chinatown so I can't say I've ever had an issue with noise. When there will be excessive noise from construction, or privacy issues with window-washing, or anything else that might disrupt daily activities, we have always received an e-mail from Management informing us in advance so we may plan accordingly. Some apartments do face the highway and I would gather that those apartments have more of a noise issue, but I am personally satisfied with the lack of noise in my apartment. We live right next the trash chute and I never hear people going into the trash room at night from our bedroom (there is also no smell!). In fact, we never hear any noise from neighboring apartments. I will say that the neighborhood doesn't make me the most comfortable at night, but that is not at all the fault of the building or any of its residents. The building itself is well-secured and I feel 100% comfortable when I am home. The nighttime safety of the neighborhood is also more than made up for by the convenience of the location. One Greenway is a 5-10 minute walk from the Red, Orange, Green, and Silver lines. I take the Red line to work every day and it is an easy and painless commute (aside from my gripes about the Red line :D). The building is right in the middle of Chinatown, beside the Theater District, and not far from the Financial District, the South End, the Back Bay and the Seaport. There are great restaurants and bars in all of the listed neighborhoods. The building is also a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. The only (only!) issue we have had since living here was that the couch we most wanted would not fit in the service elevator. It was frustrating at the time, but as a result, we purchased a sectional that we love even more. All in all, this is a fantastic building, well worth the price. Having moved from New York City and seen many other buildings/apartments in Boston, all at similar price points, I have to say that One Greenway is without a doubt the best bang for your buck and a fantastic living experience on top of that! read more

OMG, where to start. Honestly, I usually do not rate on Yelp but this place is so awful I just had to let people know. I honestly cannot believe that Bozzuto is managing this awful property. I am here from the D.C. area due to a rare autoimmune condition and the amazing medical care that I receive from Brigham and Womens hospital. Due to my autoimmune condition I have frequent episodes of shortness of breath. The shortness of breath I experience is pretty severe and frequently brought on by chemical odors. Prior to coming to this property I had been contacting the leasing agents and they told me this was a no incense and non smoking building. So, I went ahead an contracted with a short term leasing company to do 2 months here. HUGE MISTAKE, their gym smells like someone is sitting there spraying a febreeze bottle 24/7. Even my husband who has no issues with his breathing cannot tolerate the gym. I found out they use a machine that emits a "fragrance". Well, as a nurse practitioner and PhD. I know what that means lots of VOC's (can trigger anything from asthma to cancer). I contacted the company who provides these machines and sure enough their compounds emit Volitile Organic Compounds and general lung and irritants. Well, lets move on from there... the building shuts down your AC in October. Yup, it is 65 degrees today and there is heat radiating from the hallways so my unit is like 78 degrees inside and my AC won't work even though I have my own central unit and am paying my own electric bill. Are these people insane?! I have never heard of this in my life. The apartment is attached to low income housing that is nicer than these units. Honestly, run away from this place as fast as you can. I can't even express how awful it is. Not to mention the terrible location! read more

Location is great and there are so many pets in the building that it's hard not to be excited to come home here everyday. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Buzzoto and this property management company at One Greenway and beyond shocked to hear they let go of the concierge, Sam. It was an unquestionably poor and unprofessional decision that makes me question the upper level staff and management of the building and Buzzuto. As a resident of One Greenway going on two years, Sam was THE ONLY highlight of the front desk staff. She was extremely responsible, personable (as expected, albeit required, in a front desk job), and professional. She was beyond kind, caring, and conscientious of each resident she came in contact with, concerned with each resident's overall well being and living satisfaction. She respected and treated everyone as an individual, knowing this is our home. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't live in this building, always told me how great his brief interactions with her were passing through the lobby. Sam leaves a positive impact on anyone she comes in contact with at One Greenway, and this is a TOTAL LOSS for the One Greenway community and Buzzoto. There were sooooooo many times packages were lost or not in the system from other Concierge staff, and she always found everything and ensure it was entered in the system correctly. Other front desk staff were extremely unapproachable, and I would wait until Sam was on shift to pick up a package or let her know about any issue. She was a total TEAM PLAYER for One Greenway and the rest of the management staff. She made sure all maintenance requests were attended to and knew each resident's preferences for deliveries off the top of her head. After watching the actions of other front desk personnel (third shift) and prior concierge staff, Sam was the most professional, intelligent, approachable, and conscientious concierge I have ever witnessed in an apartment building. She is quick on her feet and able to make an appropriate and calculated decision that is required in any work situation based on her prior work experience and skill base. Buzzuto and One Greenway Staff: You need to fix this poor handling of personnel or people will leave. The units will not be able to be rented out (without even mentioning the overpriced rent) with the reputation of poor management and handling at this property. The Regional Manager has responded to review on this site, but does not oversee the building on a day to day basis (i.e. knows the working relationships and inner workings). As someone who intimately works in real estate and is very familiar with property management, the Regional Manager is pretty removed only meeting the staff briefly in person. We are all extremely sad Sam is gone. read more

We recently moved to One Greenway, and have absolutely loved it so far! The building is brand new, and the staff and management have been terrific. The amenities are great, with occasional free workout classes, and opportunities to get together with other residents in the community. Some of the other reviews bring attention to the noise, etc. Despite some of the construction going on in the area, this hasn't been an issue for us at all, the apartments are very well insulated. The building is in a very convenient location for us, and we are very happy we decided to move here! read more

Moved in about 2 months and have been very impressed. Great staff- always looking to go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are fulfilled. The unit is well appointed and makes use of space in a very smart way. The amenities can't be beat, from a great gym, to a great lounge with outdoor space. The location gives you easy access to the Red, Green or Orange Line with walkability to pretty much anywhere in downtown Boston. Extremely happy we chose One Greenway! read more

I have been living here for 8 months and overall I am really happy. The location is central to all parts of Boston, and Chinatown offers a lot of street parking. The building is great, always clean and offers a lot of amenities (roof deck area, lounge area, gym, a cafe attached to the building and a garage attached to the building). For the most part, all of the concierge employees provide great service and are very helpful. The only con, is that the building is not upfront during showings/signings, that there is a low income housing connected to the building. if you live below floor 9 (about) you will have only a door (never locked) that separates you from the low income residents. But, end of the day, this has been an amazing experience living here, and I do not see myself wanting to leave. read more

My boyfriend and I moved into the OneGreenway apartments a few months ago and so far the experience has been great. Any service request that we had, is completed same day, all the common areas are clean and well kept. We had an issue with a neighbors barking dog, and the property management team handled it and made us feel at ease. There are a lot of fun events for residents to partake in which being new to Boston we really appreciate. So far our experience at Onegreenway has been great, and made our move to Boston easy and stress free! read more

One Greenway is a great building that is managed by a great group of people. There were some complications when the building was finishing construction, but the management and staff did a great job to give notice to the tenants. The units are great and very spacious and well laid out. The amenities are amazing: the gym is fantastic, there are conference rooms that are great to use every so often, and the lounge (Suite 1100) is AMAZING. They frequently have events in the common areas that are great for meeting neighbors. There is some noise that results from the traffic below that gets worse during the busy hours, but that is only a problem if you are in a lower unit on on the side facing Kneeland St. Whole Foods and Roche Bros are walking distance and public transport is also very accessible. read more

I was the first resident to move into the building. Love the layout of my apartment and the staff and amenities at one greenway are wonderful. It's a new building so there are some issues: one being the noise from construction, lack of air circulation in the bathrooms due to ventless dryers. However, all of these things are being evaluated and management is working diligently to resolve some of these minor issues. Management has always been great about keeping us informed about everything going on in the building and works hard at making one greenway a great place to live! read more
