I came here recently with my friend who's a buyer for commercials. She needed loads of different stuff and she needed it quick. They stock top labels like Juicy Couture, Diesel, Lyle and Scott, All Saints, Guess Lipsy and See by Chloe. There are also BT2's in Grafton St and Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Now I'd be lying if I said I didn't shop here (I am a big Juicy fan), but usually only around Christmas Time when I have some vouchers or something to spend. I'm not crazy about spending €100 on a t-shirt, and you'd be hard done by to find something much cheaper in the shop. They also stock jewellery, underwear and beauty brands like MAC and Benefit. I like to go in even for just a look around, because the shop itself is quite young and funky.

A pack of 10 flower pots was also €1.50... works for me.. I go through buckets of the things and they usually cost a fortune.

The store itself is quite cool - menswear is on the bottom floor and women's and kids upstairs. The layout is quite simple and the décor is clean and simple. I remember thinking that it was quite cool in their too - temperature wise that is, as the rest of the shopping centre can be quite stuffy. I love their clothes, so I was delighted they brought the store to Dundrum. They're really simple and very reasonable. I will definitely be going to have a little spend there sometime soon.

But among the empty houses and the skeletons of skyscrapers there are a few hangers-on. Microsoft has a big office here, and during the week their workers make a little buzz around the place. Outside of work hours the whole area is dead, but those few hours of activity are enough to sustain a few businesses. One of those lonely outposts is a healthy Dunnes Stores. Given the nature of their clientele, they have adapted to provide a large selection of prepared lunches for the poor folks who work out here. But a little deeper in the store are all the groceries one would expect.

Also I have to put in a word here for their hair and jewelry stuff, you can find real gems amongst all the tat. OK when I say 'real gems' I don't literally mean real gems, but certainly you'll find some stuff that no-one will believe came from Penneys!
