This store marks up their prices alot but its a local business around for years and right next to a bigger, corporate competitor and its got some unique, hard to find offerings. I like to pay a little more to keep smaller businesses open that are surrounded by corporate competitors. Sadly, the owner has lost his way with an " us versus customer" attitude. It's almost like he thinks being petty about a bag is more important than the bigger picture which is offering something his competitors cant. He also snacks behind the counter, which isnt a good look. His nephew Sunny is always dinking around on Tik Tok on his phone instead of being customer focused. If he had asked if I wanted a bag I wouldnt mind paying at all but instead he made it awkward like its my fault he has zero customer service skills. A small but conveniently located little liquor store near King Soopers. This is actually is my favourite liquor store in which to buy dry sherry for cooking, but sometimes I get actual drinking booze, too. The dry sherry in question is very reasonably priced and the drinking alcohol selection quite good given the size of the establishment. The prices are reasonable and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. It's also nice that parking is basically the entire shopping center lot, so there are plenty of options in that regard. read more

If you're shopping at King Soopers and want to pick up an adult beverage on your way home, Harvest is only a few steps away. I also recommend stopping here if you're in a hurry or on a budget. This is because in the front of the store they have a list of which alcohol is on sale, or featured, and they will break it down for example into wine- reds, whites, and even label which are organic. The prices are listed and it's very easy to pick the one you want and have an employee point you in the right direction. Otherwise, if you do have time to meander through the aisles the store is clean, easy to navigate and everything is clearly labelled. read more

Incorrect price on shelf so I told the clerk (who was far too interested in his phone than his job) it was marked $1 less on the label he said what's in the system is the price but you don't have to buy it. Wow!!! Poor customer service. Explains why it's dead inside. read more

I was very pleased by the service and selection at Harvest Wine & Spirits. It also has a new look and new ownership (to my joy and surprise). I ended up speaking with the owner, Suzy Berry (I think that's her name). She gave me personal service and attention and helped me pick out a great wine for a dinner party. I was in from out of town and needed to buy some wine to share with my family that evening. The store is well organized and easy to navigate. I came in looking for an Austrian Riesling, but the helpful signage led me to discover another great find: Sun Garden Gewurztraminer (comes in a beautiful yellow bottle). All the ladies got pleasantly tipsy on this wine and we had a lovely evening. Would highly recommend to out-of-towners and locals alike! read more

Hands down my favorite liquor store in town. I've been shopping at Harvest since '11, and only go somewhere else when it's just not convenient. The staff is awesome and always remembers me. They have been very helpful multiple times when buying gifts I don't know much about, like port or special liquors. read more

I wanted to give this store more stars; however, giving it one, while mandatory, is far more than it deserves. Regardless of the size of the wine selection, there is nothing special about it. Some low-priced wines in boxes fails to compensate for wine knowledge and quality. The beer is o.k. but often runs low. Favorite local brews cannot be counted on to be in stock. Prices are in the higher side. The hard alcohol selection is badly lacking and there are almost never good deals. The place peddles cheap liquor like Platinum and Burnetts in plastic bottles. Two doors are filled with beer unfit for human consumption. The usual gross domestics are there but often run low as well. Some of the best Irish ciders are never to be found. Tough to see how a store of a good size could miss the mark so badly in terms of selection. The place used to carry some very good brands of scotch for reasonable prices, but replaced by two brands which are just garbage. There is Oskar Blues ginger beer and root beer to their credit but no one really bothers to acknowledge you. Later in the evening, amidst all the bottles of wine, theres no one in there. Its one store out of many with no real perks. The guy that owns the place that wears the fanny pack and bike tights or mom jeans is stand-offish and just weird. Its hard for him to crack a smile. The place attracts a strong presence of alkies that lurk around and things are creepy for that reason. If you park out front, lock your car. The gal thats an owner with him is fakely "nice" and anyone who is genuine will easily pick up on this. It was a better store when under the previous owner and no matter how bad the old shabby floor once looked, a few new shelves and hardwood doesnt save this place from getting the one star, which in fact means "F" for FAIL. read more

All in all, I'd say I enjoy my experiences at Harvest. A lot of things seemed to have recently changed with staff and/or stock, but still a place I frequent. Most of the "new" staff seem vacant and just sort of go through the motions with me......and it seemed with every other customer in the store. One employee stands above the rest. His name is Wam. Even when I can tell his day hasn't been the best, I'm greeted with at least a smirk and a chuckle. But not only am I greeted, he remembers who I am, what he's helped me with in the past, what I've liked, what I haven't liked.......and so on. He is the sole reason I would recommend this place to others. I hope the other "newer" employees can step it up to his level.....because other liquor stores are definitely making sure they attract new customers by whatever means necessary (ie. prices, variety, knowledgeable staff....etc.). I would like to continue to be a customer of Harvest's.....but other employees should most definitely take cues from Wam. read more
