The smell of breakfast wafting from the restaurant grabbed my sniffer and led us to the front of the store to look at the menu. A Quick Look and we decided to give the pickle a go. Me and the boss decided on the Mexican omelet and a coffee. What a meal. Toast and crisp, delicious hash browns shared the plate with the main attraction, an enormous three egg omelet stuffed with peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and onions topped with cheese and salsa sauce. The boss had me finish her omelet but by God I finished all mine too.... Thankfully we had a walk back to the hotel to work some of that big breakfast off. Prices are in line with every other place here in Victoria, however this is a local, husband and wife team that make awesome food and seem genuinely happy to be serving their brand of home cooking to the people.
