I got a wonderful chicken gyro and my goodness was not disappointed by the presentation and kindness of the employee. It tasted even better as I had just just gone to a neighboring business and the owner complained about the government and spoke disparagingly about USAID. It had been a couple of years since we had gone here, so I was glad to go back to one of my…read morefavorite chain restaurants. There was no waiting and the server was pleasant and helpful. The food arrived in a timely manner. We started with the breadsticks, of course. I didn't taste any garlic on them, but then I am a garlic fiend. We both went with the soup and pasta lunch specials. We started with Pasta e Fagioli soup, and as it was endless soup with the special, we followed up with the Chicken & Gnocchi. They were both good. I had the spaghetti with two meatballs, which I see now from a previous review I had once before. Next time I will order the lasagna! I smiled when I saw it comes with just two meatballs, but they are larger than average and was enough for my serving. It was good, but I forgot to ask if I could have thinner pasta with it. I rarely use regular thick spaghetti at home. My wife had the Eggplant Parma which, unlike what the menu picture showed, only came with one eggplant slice! Reminded me of the Gary Muledeer punchline of telling the Maitre D, "My compliments to the photographer!" But it was a good experience overall and I expect we will go back someday. It had been over two years and our lunch specials only went up a dollar, which isn't bad in the new era of inflation.

I've ordered the Chicken Tender sandwich before but this is a pretty pathetic sandwich today. The two chicken fingers on this no bigger than a thumb...almost $10 sandwich were browned on the outside but cold in the middle, cheese on the sandwich not melted. It's the type of chicken my toddler nephew eats Full head of lettuce on it. Bread not toasted. It's listed under HOT sandwiches. Seems like a no brainer to me. The order was pretty simple so not sure why the execution was poor. I might as well have stayed home and had cereal rather than make a special trip just for the sandwich and the person with me got a slice of pizza. The staff is always friendly and helpful, so don't want to completely call it a bust, but some consistency and quality in Amatos would be nice to have.

I have been numerous times and have never written a review. This is on Dinner and Breakfast: I have considered it my "hidden gem" but after tonight's meal I simply MUST share with everyone! They had a special Valentine's Day menu. It was to DIE for. Wasabi whipped potatoes, goat cheese and spinach tart, vegetable wellington, dark chocolate frangelico cups, and so much more. I had a bite of it all from my table. We all cleared our plates and I told the chef to put the potatoes and wellington on the regular menu. Typically they have wonderful specials and are always worth going for. I have never had a bad meal there. I usually end up with a pasta or seafood dish- they are always so unique and flavorful. Dishes range from traditional Italian, to Indian, to Irish, to French, even Thai and typical American with a twist. The hamburgers are huge and my family loves them (I do not eat meat- only seafood), the steak is always my fathers favorite (very juicy), and its hard to mess up a Caesar salad but they do it perfectly there! I usually get it with shrimp, salmon, or calamari. Desserts are good, we always go for the chocolate lava cake : ) Specialty drink list in Euro Pub, snack at bar, and they carry Magners Cider! Moderately priced, Jazz music on Thursdays in the Euro Pub! Attire ranges from casual to dressy, it is a hotel so guests and locals are always milling about. Service is top of the line for this area. Very professional but easy going and pleasant to interact with. Breakfast- for $10 you get a delicious buffet. Bacon, Sausage, pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, pastries, and eggs to order and an omlette station. Lots of other things as well. Sometimes they have extras out like quiche or fresh bread. Wonderful and def worth the $10- skip the Dennys (which is next door) and try this place. WORTH IT! Open 6 am to 10 am (11am on weekends) 5 to 9pm (maybe 10 pm on weekends?) for Dinner
