If the employee needed a break or to eat she should have sat down at one of the empty tables to do so instead of being allowed to eat in the back near everyone's food while the rest of the employees just watched and said nothing. In general the place is clean and well maintained. The Mrs ordered mozzarella cheese stick as an appetizer and the steak and cheese with sweet potato fries for her main course, and I ordered the Molly Mooberry Burger with onion rings. The Molly Mooberry Burger was a unique experience seeing that it was a burger, fried egg, bacon and cheese in between two grill cheese sandwiches. The mozzarella cheese sticks were served warm... they were flavorless, lackluster, and definitely came out a commercial size freezer box. The sweet potato fries were served in a large quantity and were okay. The steak and cheese was adequate. Overall, her meal was 'okay', and 'nothing special'. The Molly Mooberry Burger was order 'medium' with the fried egg 'over easy'. It all came out well done. No pink center, no runny yoke.... The onion rings were good. Total cost $57.00. Seems like a lot for a countryside diner. Over all we both feel that the food was heavy and greasy. The waitress was nonchalant, lackadaisical, and preoccupied beyond her abilities ad a waitress. We will not be talking about this place in the future and definitely not stopping back by when we are in Augusta.

We waited at the food counter but no one paid attention. They were talking and laughing with each other, oblivious. The woman from the register had to come over and take our order. In between all of this, the register lady is running back and forth from their area to hers while they weren't worried about anything. This place is set up to be a real money maker. The food was good once we got it. The location is great. But it's a completely inefficient operation. We had a ton of different desserts (blueberry pie, cookies, brownies, whoopie pies, etc), which were all good and really tasted homemade. They also have a few basic grocery supplies for sale in the coolers. If I lived on this block, I'd be in this place every day.
