Been looking for a good bakery in fs, and this one so far has been absolutely delicious. will say it is on the pricier side but it was very delicious. cashier was friendly unfortunately the one serving or getting the bread wasn't as friendly. Delicious! I have a fondness for sourdough bread and this place makes the BEST! Every time I ride through Oklahoma/Arkansas on my way to visit the parents, I can practically guarantee that every morning Mom will toast and butter some of Harvest Moon's sourdough for us to have with breakfast and I usually have more of it than I probably should. I have been several times to their store (because we always run out of sourdough when I visit) and they always have wonderful other things like tarts and other baked goodies. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful, though this isn't really a place you can sit and hang out (there weren't really any tables to sit at last time I visited). Our daughter had to bring us to her favorite bakery for breakfast and now we understand why. My wife used to own a bakery herself and is very critical, but everything was amazing. Fruit danish, cronuts, cinnamon rolls (huge!) Daughter loves their avocado toast with a sprinkling of balsamic, and her boyfriend loves their chicken salad on cranberry/pecan toast. They had just taken some ciabatta rolls out of the oven and the owner sliced and buttered one up for us to try, which was amazing and resulted in a return trip to the register for a bag to go! My wife had a number of questions for the Baker who was very open and forthcoming... And friendly! Their stuff isn't cheap, but they're using high-quality ingredients and time-consuming processes. Great people and a great product! We'll definitely return! read more

Like many bakeries, you can find pies, breads, croissants, danishes, etc. but what I find that harvest moon does to separate themselves from the traditional bakery are the use of quality ingredients and incorporating a variety of ingredients into your traditional baked goods. What you may also find is excellent customer service. My wife and I was served by Angela, who helped us pick out items for our family Christmas dinner. we purchased their large cinnamon roll and an apple pie. If you like your pie with ice cream, then harvest moon's pies will be the perfect vessel for your ice cream due to its quality filling with the right amount of crust. I'm a crust guy and the crust on our apple pie handled the ice cream very well and offered that perfect bite you're looking for when you eat pies. This place is really great!... when it's open and has stuff. If I was still a student who went to school from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. I would never get to go here. The hours make this place very disappointing. They are also closed on Saturdays, one of the ONLY two days kids are free. I live very far away and am not able to get there until 2:30, so by the time I arrive, basically everything has been bought up. I really wish this place was more kid-friendly, I would come here so often if it was open until 5 P.M. like most businesses. read more

I like to call myself a "dessert snob" - being a previous bakery owner will tend to do that. But this bakery deserves more stars if possible. Different types of bread, French pastries and American desserts all made from scratch every day is what they're known for, and they do it well. Everything I have ever gotten has been delicious - croissants, danishes, donuts, sourdough bread, and my favorite, the cinnamon rolls. They're as big as your head but don't buy one unless you're prepared to eat it in one sitting because you won't be able to stop! If you're looking for maple bars, regular donuts, french bread and other pastries cheap, this isn't your place. However, if you don't mind getting what you pay for and are tired of cardboard with frosting for a pastry, you've come to the right place!! There rosemary & garlic bread is so good that I have it delivered regularly. There croissants are higher than most, but are big enough that you could probably get an entire meal in one. Around Christmas, they had pumpkin cream cheese bread and it was fantastic!! I bought 10 loaves to give to neighbors, the mailman, and others who help me and they all wanted to know where I got them! I had to go back and get some for us and I keep 2 loaves in the freezer so we don't have to do without. Their almond croissant is to die for, as is their cinnamon one. I have not tried their pies as they usually have apple, cherry, or coconut and I don't like any of those flavors, but if they ever make chocolate cream or lemon meringue, I'll be there when the door opens. Basically, you are going to get homemade, quality baked items made with a lot of love (you can taste it). I've never had baked goods that were this good. My only complaint is that they close at 3.
