Made a trip over an hour away, to the factory and store in Van Buren,AR. Wonderful staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Variety of chocolate candy and hard candies. Plus I noticed they had jars of Honey and coffee. Purchased box of creams, jelly beans and couple of other hard to find candy items. Worth the drive. I asked about shipping and,yes they do ship orders placed online. We will definitely either order online or make another drive to store in Van Buren,AR. read more

Customer service was good, chocolates were SO DELISH. Place was clean and cool and inviting. I tried one of each of the milk chocolate turtle, chocolate coconut, chocolate peanut butter, and sea salt caramel. The chocolate was excellent quality and every bite was delicious. One of the nice things about a road trip is discovering places that might get overlooked during other forms of travel. Like this candy shop! It is rare that you can go wrong with a candy shop find and this one is a gem. This family run business has been around since 1925 so they know their sugar stuff. Just so you know, they will ship anywhere so if you can't get a trip to Arkansas in the works you can still get an old fashioned candy fix. I got an 8oz assortment and while it didn't last long, I was pleased with each one. The peanut butter candies, whether a crisp or chocolate coated smooth confection, are amazing. I also love the chocolate covered coconut and chocolate covered marshmallow. I enjoyed the chocolate covered mint wafer. It was light in texture but had a very good mint taste. The truffles were creamy and I especially like the mocha. Walnuts in chocolate are always on the winning side as is caramel. Another sweet I got is the Pe-Co Brittle. It's a buttery brittle with peanuts and coconut that's slightly salty and pleasantly sweet. I am so enjoying this. But do be careful and mindful of your teeth. Some parts of the brittle are thick so you'll want to let that melt in your mouth or break it down some. This sweet shop offers a huge variety of candies, even sugar free. If you have time, you can visit the factory and see the candy being made. Their chocolate is great don't get me wrong but when you experience bad customer service let alone thinking it is a racial one is a problem. Same review as what I posted on yahoo. I did not get a hello welcome or anything. Gave them the benefit of doubt thinkin it was because they were somewhat busy to find out it was them just picking and choosing who they service. Nope not my color skin. I stared at the glass with the chocolate behind it wondering if it would serve itself. Obviously not. I go to check out and the cashier tells me the total. I tell her I am not done getting what I need. She looks at me with her staggered look. Why do I even insist on paying for my things. Should have just walked out. Worst customer service experience ever. Will tell others to not shop their nor will they have me as a customer again. read more

I've been going there for years and it is rare that the store isn't buzzing with activity. This is a family business with a real mom and pop atmosphere. KK has a option where refills on their heart boxes are half price if brought back to re-use. As a person living on disability this savings of $ 30 or so really is appreciated. My wife has been enjoying the same pink (her favorite color) heart of chocolates for ten years now. Once empty it is put in a plastic bag in a closet till next Valentines Day. I've patiently waited my turn before as others did because the reward was worth it ! read more
