This locations rocks! Sweet folks running the place, and super fresh home style cooking. Yum! This was my favorite chicken buffet over ten years ago, and it's still awesome. The fried fish and fresh livers are crispy and perfectly cooked. There's comforting bread pudding and fresh yeast rolls. The veggies are seasoned just right, and there are always some special dishes like beef stew at the buffet. It's popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. People seem to know each other and are friendly and kind to each other. It creates a nice atmosphere inside. I recommend stopping by and trying it out. read more

The chicken is always freshly made here. I go to the buffet when I have the time but the drive thru is very handy when I am on the go. their chicken strips are good sized and the whole fried chicken pieces are very meaty. I love their fried Okra here, it's the best anywhere. read more

Probably one the the worst fried chicken places i have ever been. I'm at a loss. Fried chicken is one of my favorites, and this place has put an "as long as it's not from Hartz" into my vocabulary. The chicken had no flavor, thr appetizers where bland. read more

The worst part about this place is the cleanliness. The floor always look trashy, the bathrooms are disgusting, and the buffet is hardly maintained! The only place to get fried chicken in Sealy, besides Walmart down the road. Customer service is quite friendly and accommodating! The only problem I have with the service is there's always an employee that seems to not care about their job and makes me think about how they handle my food. The prices are pretty outrageous but they are the only place to sell chicken, so that's expected!! Overall my experience is always extremely slow and very dissatisfying. This little spot is A-OK, but I would recommend it for take out only. I stop every couple of months and get some gizzards for munching. I am not a real fan of fast food, but Sealy is a perfect distance for pit stop, gas and a snack when going to and from Houston. The inside seems run down a bit, the air is heavy with grease smell (of course), and the housekeeping not the best. However, the gizzards are good, tender, and the staff I have dealt with have always been friendly. read more

Stopped here for dinner while vacationing from Minnesota. Gizzards and fish on our minds, stopped in about 10:20 am buffet started at 10. Gizzards were to die for.. Fish was very good while it was hot.. yes, it maybe this place has not changed one bit in the 20 years we have been gone and when I say has not changed I mean everything all the way down to the greasy floors but hey goes with old memory just be careful when you walk, very friendly staff we had a very good experience even asked for a to-go container when I left and took all the fresh gizzards they had just brought out... yummmm read more

Order the livers and gizzards! My wife and I stop here to pick up a lunch for the road whenever we're on the way to SA. Yeah, the place shows it's age but if you want new decor and plastic food, go to the Golden Arches. Example of employees caring? Our order came out of the oil and the guy in the kitchen must have noticed the person at the counter had stepped away (she was cleaning a counter top). Every time I come on a Sunday at 7:44 pm they don't want to make more chicken tenders and they close at 9 pm . Really? So unprofessional and just pure lazy ! They always give the same excuse. My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite. Forget it buffet full of flies. The staff could care less. No wonder the health department shut them down. Now we see they have repainted the exterior and reopened. Will never go back. Walmart has good fried chicken and whole rotisserie chicken and they mark the whole chicken box with the time it was made. Galla Mexican Café and Tony's has the best chicken. read more

I eat there all the time (mostly via the drive-through). Yeah, the inside isn't exactly new and it's a chicken place that's probably 30 years old so it's kind of what I expect. I've watched them cook the food and never seen anything that would make me refuse to eat there. The chicken and sides taste great so that's pretty much what I'm looking for.
