They had three associates working to get patients checked in or out as the case might be. They were moving through the queue as fast as they could. When my turn came to check in the representative was very friendly and thorough, despite the chaos of so many people in the waiting area. I asked if it is always that busy there. She said that Thursdays are often their busiest days. Dear Hubby explained (he's been a patient there, too) that their doctors rotate to several offices - likely Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, in addition to Simi. Despite the busy load of patients in the waiting room I was called in fairly quickly. Dr. "Siva" came to talk with me and go over MRI results shortly thereafter. There were some surprises in what the MRI revealed which I wasn't expecting. I'll be starting physical therapy soon and we'll see how it all goes. I liked the straight-forward communication style of Dr. Siva. He offered information, compassion, and a plan to move forward.

Avoid this location. Not only was it a waste of money and time, but the doctor who saw me (Dr…read more Michael Fealy, MD is a board certified hand surgeon, specializing in complex hand and wrist conditions and procedures) couldn't even diagnose me. He examined me and said "even though you don't have carpel tunnel, I'm going to treat it as such." ????? Then recommended a nerve study for my upper right extremity and doesn't even offer that in house. He referred me to some other doctor with rude staff. After getting that done, the neurologist sent him my results. I wasn't able to view it online in the UCLA portal. (Note: I found a separate unaffiliated neurologist because I was not going to go to the one he suggested with the rude receptionist) So in order to get my results, the front office staff informed me I needed to schedule an appointment. lol I let them know I'm entitled to my medical records. They wouldn't fax or send to me in any way. They required me to go in person. And you know what? The results showed no findings. Sooo imagine I had spent time, money, gas to go to the office for an appointment just for him to tell me the test showed nothing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Honestly when I first found this place I was so excited because I was actually seeing progress…read more Marisa is a great physical therapist. I had great help from her, Drew and John. I have a very complex case and Marisa took her time with me and never gave up. Unfortunately Marisa is no longer going to be there so when I went to switch therapists to a specific one Shey told me I couldn't and had to go with a PTA. I explained due to my surgical history and complex case I wanted an actual PT specifically the one I had named and she told me no again due to him having no openings. I told her then I was going to go to a new physical therapy place and she said ok. I don't think this is how you should treat patients that come to your facility at all. I looked up this therapist openings and sure enough he had one the very next day and multiple in two weeks. It's very sad that this is how they decided to treat their patient. On top of dealing with all my medical issues to also deal with rude customer service. Attached you can see all the appointments Shey claimed weren't available. To clarify: I was told the provider was not available at all. I clarified that with them because I didn't mind waiting for the person I wanted to be treated by. My Pt had recommended to this specific one not the one suggested by you or your front desk team. I never once said a PTA was bad but due to my situation I wanted someone who has been working longer and has the experience and has specifically worked on my case. Also I did not leave abruptly I was in live athletics for about 20 minutes following that conversation. There was plenty of time for an in person conversation.

They do everything from Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Accupuncture and massage. This is a one stop facility. The staff is very attentive and Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Moore really know their stuff. I feel fortunate to have found this facility. There is plenty of parking in the lot or street. If you are looking to rehab from true professionals, this is the place.

I visited Valencia Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation for about two months to recover from a back…read moreinjury. While the staff were competent and professional, I felt that their approach to physical therapy could have been more tailored to my specific needs. The therapy seemed a bit too generic, and I didn't receive the targeted attention I was hoping for. Ultimately, I turned to the internet and found a physical therapy program that was much more specifically attuned to my issues. This personalized approach made a significant difference in my recovery. Valencia Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation does a decent job, but they could improve by offering more individualized treatment plans. Overall, if you're looking for a general physical therapy experience, this place is adequate. However, if you need a more specific and targeted therapy approach, you might want to explore other options. As far as billing goes, they do not take insurance, and I have very good insurance. I have a PPO plan through my work, and they indicated to me that they don't take insurance and that they are not a preferred provider through the insurance programs. This meant I had to pay out-of-network pricing, resulting in about $125 per session for physical therapy. My wife, on the other hand, received physical therapy for her own injury at another clinic that accepted her insurance and provided excellent care, significantly reducing her out-of-pocket costs. Had I known the quality of their therapy prior to agreeing to pay the out of network pricing, I probably would not have chosen to go to them. I have been recommended to them by a friend and my friend thought they did a great job so I didn't question their pricing because I thought that they would be really good in taking care of my back.

I DO NOT recommend this place. Very poorly managed…read more - X-ray techs did not protect the rest of the body. I had to request the protective apron. - PT office overbooks; PT is unable to watch, adjust, and make sure you're learning enough about how to properly do the movements because they're focused on more than one client at a time. - Lots of socialization between the PTs; it's great to have fun at work but not when there's a patient in front of you - Doc wouldn't give any diagnosis without scans. $300 later + exposure to radiation, with no further in understanding or explanation of the issue. My acupuncturist was able to tell me what's going on after a short evaluation. - Doc made me return and pay a second copay for a full evaluation because he refused to assess more than two body parts per visit, even though everything is connected and related - Front desk (quite grumpy) refused to schedule my third appointment stating there was an insurance issue; we were told it's a training matter when we escalated Too many issues! If you'd like to know where I went for PT and got much better results, you are welcome to DM me OR just check out my reviews for the other PT office (there's only one other).
