Unfortunately, they discovered that the heat blower motor was bad and my furnace was backing out flames from the combustion chamber that could have caused it to burn. The unit was over 35 years old and I was told that would not be economically feasible just to repair the motor and risk the change of the furnace going bad and continue to waste money on service repairs. The technician recommended a complete HVAC replacement. Elijah, the tech, worked out an estimate overnight and by the next morning we purchased a whole home HVAC. A Trane 2.5 ton system. Royal Aire had it in stock and immediately scheduled it an install five days later. The day of the install we met with the techs Dillan and Drew. They showed up early before 8:00 and by 1:30 PM they had the whole HVAC system installed, tested, and running like clock work. I can't have enough praise for Dillan, Drew, Elijah the front office customer service reps and this whole company. Now we are enjoying our new HVAC system. Kudos to Royal Aire! I strongly recommend them!

Hang 5 units inside, run the piping, a new breaker, about 4' of wire and plug it in to the exterior unit. Simple. The estimate was $5600.00 and that did NOT include installing the electrical wire and breaker, or any anything else. It could of been a one day job for 2 men ($700.00/hr). How can they justify a price like that? The woman has no heat or ac. Sad that anyone would charge that kind of money just because the need is great.

I've used D&D for my home and business for years. I will no longer use them or refer business to…read morethem. I was without water and called in to see if they could come check my pressure switch. She went over that it's $90 instead of $60 plus labor. Once the guy got here it turned out since it was a no water call it would be a minimum of $350. I didn't have any plans for them to do work on the actual well, I didn't need the "no water truck" and did not ask for it. So that was absolutely ridiculous. He checked the pressure switch and left and I paid $397, he wasn't even here 10 minutes. I called and asked for a partial refund and as usual it took me calling and following up to get no where. Elizabeth was supposed to call me back on Tuesday with an update and I heard nothing. I am not chasing them down as that seems to always be the case. They say they will get back in touch and 4 days later you have to follow up AGAIN. Hard to believe a company as old as they are can't get it together. I finally got a well drilling company out here on Monday, they were here for 6 hours and their total labor charge was only $600 vs $400 for 10 minutes of nothing. Really a poor way to treat your long time customers. What a rip off.

I'm only giving them a single star because it won't let me leave a review any other way…read more Their workers, specifically one named Rich, take their dog with them and lock it in the van (which is not running), parked in full sun while they enjoy their lunch in a diner for at least an hour without any thought to the animal. They only come out when someone walks into the store asking questions, and defend what they did by saying "Aw, he's got water in there!" I don't know or care what their quality of work is, and I'll never find out. This incident was enough reason to NEVER give them business.
