I had a really bad experience with Kenny but this is meant as an honest assessment and not a hit piece so I'll start with the one positive thing: I called him close to midnight, he picked up, and made it out to our house the next morning. From there, things took a turn. He told me that a mouse had shorted the circuit board, that the furnace was shot, and that the heat exchanger was cracked and risked leaking carbon monoxide. He quickly put together an estimate for about $7K for a total replacement. I asked him for pictures from the scope that showed the cracks in the heat exchanger and he didn't respond. I had two other HVAC guys come for a second and third opinion. Both of them said that a) Kenny left the dead mouse; b) the circuit board fix was simple; and c) they could see no evidence that the furnace was shot or that there was any cracking in the heat exchanger. I brought this information to Kenny and he said "they're lying." The fix ended up costing me $180, about $100 less than Kenny charged me for the assessment, and now the system is working great. And... the guy who fixed it removed the mouse. I'm not going to make any definitive character judgements, but in the discrepancy between Kenny's assessment and that of the other guys, I just don't see what motivation they would have to tell me that there wasn't a problem where they'd get paid a lot more if there was one -- particularly since I was already primed for a full replacement. I told Kenny that I wasn't happy with his service and asked that he just return the fee I paid him and he said he'd discuss it with his business partner. I never heard back and now he want return my texts or calls. Looking at other reviews around different corners of the internet, my experience seems to be shared by many. Needless to say, we have a great HVAC guy now and I wouldn't consider reaching out to Kenny again. read more

AC "fix" provided by Kenny worked for about 10 days. He "replaced 2 parts" but would never give us an invoice for the $700+ he charged, after asking twice. Quick money for shoddy work. Don't call this guy if you want your AC fixed right! I did not post this review because Mr. Hothead couldn't come out until Tuesday, I posted this after I called a real, recommended professional to come fix it Monday and found out that he had already gotten 4-5 calls THIS WEEK , to fix Mr. Hothead's shoddy work! read more

He came out a month ago to look at my heating system. Said he would get me a quote on getting our heat fixed on Monday. I never heard back from him. I left a v.m. he charged me $185 for a 15-20 minute visit. RIPPED-OFF!!! I was warned not to use him, but that was after he had already been to my house. NEVER AGAIN. read more

If you ever want you job finished' steer clear of Mr. HEATING AND COOLING. I am now 2 summers without air conditioning. I began this journey in March or 2024 when i booked a service call. Ken came within 2 weeks and informed me my compressor was on the way out on my heat pump, and after going over my options, i agreed to install a new outside heat pump and ac unit. I figured he'd be back in a week or so but it took him a month to return. No problem since the old unitnwas still functional. He finally arrives and installs the heat pump but when he turns on the system, he finds a freon leak in the coils. Ok. Inagree to a new unit the house. It takes him a month to return and install the rest of the unit. We are now into July when he finall shpws up to finish this installation. He shows up with an assistant, who he leaves to install the unit in the basement but he leaves for a dental appointment. He comes back 5 hours later to do the soldering to complete the installation AFTER HAVING ANESTHESIA! He leaves and within 24 hours, my system freezes up. I also found that the "assistant" had plumbed the water pump pipe in front of the access panel for the air filter so the air filter can't be changed. Contact Mr. Plumbing and Heating and i can't get an appoimtment for another month. He finally shows up at the end of August after canceling 2 previous appointments. Turns out, all the freon leaked out due to the fact there was no Schraeder valve in the freon filler port. AC worked for the remaining couple of weeks of summer. Heat worked over the winter. Spring rolls around and I schedule a service in May. Before my service date, the system freezes up again. I inform them, and they cancel my service call, and reschedule for 2 weeks after my initial appointment. Ken finds thenfreon levels are low, recharges and i hoped we were done. 2 weeks later, it freezes up again. Ken comes back on May 12, 2025, checks everyhing and the system seems find. He tells me there may be a bad switch and if therebare any additional problems, he'll come out and replace the switch. One week later, it freezes up again. I contact Mr. Heating and Airconditioning and im given an initial service date of July 28th. They then push it back to August 5th. On July 30, i recieve an email telling me my appointment has npw been moved to August 11. When complain about the date being changed AGAIN, Kyle in the office basically says if i dont like the service, I should go elsewhere. When I respond that this has been an ongoing issue and that i might consider legal action, he canceled by last appointment and instructed me not to contact the business and gave me the information of the business attorney. Folks, I tried to "shop local". Ken Carter is a very nice guy but you don' deal with Ken until he arrives at the job. His office staff doesn't give a crap. 2 years is more than patient wanting this job done. Steer clear of Mr. HEATING and AIRCONTIONING if you want the job done right the first time or fixed in a timely manner if followup is required. read more

Must've been some confusion with my last review. But this is the installation I was referring too. Even a kid knows water doesn't run up hill. As far as the invoice I'm pretty sure you're gonna wanna keep that private. If you want to deny this is your installation you can take that up with karma. BEWARE! My experience was filled with Drama from Office Personnel, Lies, mediocre work, damage to property, and Acts of Extortion. Do as you will, but I recommend searching for, and comparing the other Heat/AC Companies in the area. My original call was due to outside unit clicking on/off and inside unit having an electric buzz. Kenny came out and replaced the relay on the outside unit, then put a nice creased bend in the inside unit's panel while forcing it off to look at the blower. Since the blower started to spin, he placed the panel back on, asked for $300 (that's after removing $165 for Vet Discount) for the relay replacement, and headed on his merry way. Within 20 minutes after he left, the blower stopped and was making that humming sound. FYI... $300 is about the Industry Standard Price for such work. I believe their "Veterans Discout" is just a marketing ploy. I called back to inform them about the blower stop working. Office person, Julie provided a date and time (7:00a) for the blower to be replaced ($1,175, afterVet Discount). I asked for a later time, and she set it up for 8:30a. I have All emails and texts. At the end of the workday before the work was to be done, Julie sent a confirmation for 7:00a. I told her I have emails and texts for 8:30a. She argued the point and since I, The Customer was in the Right, she just Canceled the appointment. If I still wanted the work done, they'd add an additional $275 Emergency fee. I found another company to do the work, Cheaper, and without a Vet Discount. Now, Julie will possibly respond to this accurate review to try and spin the situation to make them look good. This is my review, and as I stated, do as you will but make sure you do your research before they try to sell you a Whole New System (which they also tried with me) read more

Hang 5 units inside, run the piping, a new breaker, about 4' of wire and plug it in to the exterior unit. Simple. The estimate was $5600.00 and that did NOT include installing the electrical wire and breaker, or any anything else. It could of been a one day job for 2 men ($700.00/hr). How can they justify a price like that? The woman has no heat or ac. Sad that anyone would charge that kind of money just because the need is great.

I contracted with All Season to do work because in an old house I have that did not cool well…read more Their tech told me it was because of slack in flexible ducting and insulation on the air handler after inspecting all ducting, including in the attic, and air handler in the basement. They said they would do the recommended work in June or July 2022. I gave them explicit instructions to call me before any work is done because the property is a rental property and the tenant needs to be notified. They did not do the work and I never heard from them again, which is fine, since I know they were busy and it sounds like they were understaffed. I called another company who correctly diagnosed the problem as no insulation in the attic. So I contracted with an insulation company in August and the insulation solved my problem. In mid-November, six months AFTER they were supposed to do the work, All Season techs simply showed up without permission to do unauthorized work putting a minimal amount of insulation on the air handler in the basement without contacting me or anyone else. A week later I received a bill. The owner ultimately called me back to discuss this and worked out a satisfactory solution. He did agree that people going into my house without my knowledge or permission should never happen and apologized, especially since I no longer needed that work to be done. He removed that work from my bill.

Sitting in the hot soup of my own sweat while sitting in my home was unpleasant. Honestly though that's not really why I took a couple stars off. The SOLE reason why it's 3 instead of 5 is the woman who answers the phone. I called originally and she's the one who told me they would arrive on the 7th. When I call on the 7th she claimed to not remember and said that she had us down for the 8th. When I reasonably became a bit upset at this news she repeatedly would ask me and my fiancé, "well I can cancel if you want". She even cut me off multiple times, "I'm happy to cancel, do you want to cancel". Eventually I got to speak with the owner who smoothed things over quite nicely and provided the model numbers and serial numbers that the woman previously would not. The installers came the next day on time, and they were great. Clearly experienced and even helped to get rid of a few snakes living under the old unit. They were awesome and were done in about 4 hours which is what I expected. They even came back after finishing to provide me with a check to cover the amount for the thermostat they couldn't acquire, (which the owner told me he had the day before). The initial tech that inspected my old unit was spot on, and the install techs were a pleasure. The woman answering the phone is the sole reason I almost cancelled. This would be a 5 star review had they not had that horrible woman answer the phone. I would go with Dudley's if your looking for experienced installation techs. But somehow you're going to have to endure the terrible experience on the phone.

Then the same thing over & over countless times. Worked a little time only. We are now spending $9500. to replace the unit!!! Guess what Dudley's install a smaller unit then is required for our footprint (sq. ft.). It requires a HVAC UNIT 1 Ton more! $7,000. wasted! Don't use these people! We had other repairs done also, they cheated us on! Vents cleaned, dryer lent cleaned, more. We now have a firm who uncovered this incompetent work. I also watched the 2 repairmen release the Freon to the air.(dust cloud) Which is illegal! I firmly believe if your Elderly Dudley's employee's take advantage of you! Buyer Beware! Don't use Dudley's!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. We ran into issues with our A/C units and we knew that it was about that time to replace them. We had gotten some quotes prior to reaching out to kenny at MR HEATING AND COOLING LLC. Not only did he come by very quick, he also tried to see if he could repair our units instead of replacing them. Amazing and honest service. Unfortunately we had to get 2 new units as well as air handlers. The appointment for the replacement was set very fast, the workers came on time and were very friendly. They answered all the questions I had and finished the job in 1 day, while everybody else we spoke to told us it would take 2 days. After everything was done Kenneth stopped by to make sure everything was installed correctly and we were happy with everything. An amazing contractor and person to work with! I am so impressed with MR HEATING AND COOLING LLC thanks to their solid customer service, fair pricing and their friendly/knowledgeable technician, KENNETH . Cannot say enough good about KENNETH and MR HEATING AND COOLING LLC. I had two different issues with my unit within a very short time span. Both times he arrived the same day I called; the first day he spent the entire day and the early evening at my house making sure that the leak was fixed and the unit was running. The second time, my initial service call was scheduled two days out but he had some time in his schedule and called to let us know he could come out that day. Where do I start? Best experience with any business I've ever had. Kenneth and team were quite amazing. Kenneth came for a consultation on Wednesday, gave us an innovative solution for our ac issue (we had talked to 4 other hvac companies who could not solve the problem). We received a bid for a very fair price onsight and Kenneth and team were able to complete a big job for us on Friday of the same week. the team stayed until 8pm on a Friday night to finish the job.
