When I got to the room, she asked no questions or made any small talk- she just started waxing my face. Helen, the owner, also made remarks such as," Your skin is very thin," and," Your skin is very red and sensitive," and yet kept waxing my face. She also asked me if it was burning, and I said yes, and yet, kept going. I don't get my eyebrows waxed often, but felt a little stinging sensation and slight burning- which I assumed was normal (my eyebrow hairs are literally being pulled out), and at the time my skin looked a little red. About an hour later the top layer of my skin was burned off, turned a redder color and stings really bad.

It was my first time here. I have gotten my lashes done before and I did not like that experience…read morebecause they did not listen. So I decided to try a new place because I liked the reviews and the pictures of how natural the lashes looked. I asked for hybrid wispy just like the first picture in the reviews. And I said I wanted to have more of a cat eye which means just longer lashes on the ends. What I got is absolutely ugly. They are too short and they are chunky. I tried telling her that it wasn't what I asked for. She kept saying my lashes were wet so it will look different when they dry. I do not know if they can fix it because I was dismissed. She also did not tell me the price until the end and that could be my fault for not asking but I assumed it would not cost more than $120. I paid $140!! I highly disappointed and am upset because I have a trip in a few days and I hate them so much.

She didn't refuse service. In fact, she thought I was just going to take her rude attitude as she walked towards the room. And that's when I had enough because no one deserves to be talked to the way she did, especially a consistent customer. I bet she won't post the video of our last interaction because she knows it will be telling. So again, she is not professional, will have you waiting but expect you to be early, will not respect your time & will ultimately become mean when you don't spend more $ with her. She'll talk down about all the other salons in the area when quite honestly they are more professional & kind! I do not recommend. Don't say I didn't tell warn you.

I texted her when i booked and asked her for the price, she had me call her and when we spoke she quoted me $110 which is what i normally pay for my volume lashes. When i arrived at my appointment i was told since the photo showed wispy lashes, the price will be $130... I said no ma'am im sorry that's not what we discussed but im willing to change the style. I didn't care if they were wispy i just cared about the fullness and length. She said dont worry we will do it only this once since I think that i am getting engaged... which to me, it shouldn't be a favor. As a professional when you tell me my lashes are $110, that's a mistake on HER end. The entire appointment she brought it up multiple times trying to see if she could make me pay the $130. Even saying "when i'm done, you'll see how hard i worked and want to pay me more" I am only 22 years old and I am not made of money. I brought the amount i was going to pay and no more. When i was done i told her i would not be coming back due to her actions making me extremely uncomfortable and anxious. I should not feel that way, when the only mistake made was on her end and she should take the loss. She kept telling me next time you ask for wispy you need to know they're $130-$150. I am not a lash tech. I don't know the style. I see a picture of something cute and I want it or I don't. I shouldn't be responsible for pricing my lashes when i go out of my way to ask. She also embarrassed me in front of another customer. The customer had to tell the both of us to calm down it was just a misunderstanding. How unprofessional and embarrassing. She also called me a name as i walked out, i heard her say "that young lady is..." the door shut. To speak to/about me that way in front of another customer is insane. Rosie is extremely talented and her work is amazing. She is fast and her pricing is reasonable. BUT the way she treated me was extremely wrong. I will never be back and i hope she can learn from this.

I just finished a peel and my skin feels softer and looks brighter and even-toned. I changed my diet, I switched skin regimes too often to count, I started cleaning my bed sheets weekly, and nope, nothing seemed to relieve it. After talking to a friend, she told me I should try getting a facial and thanks to Yelp! I was able to find Giselle and haven't looked back since. She really takes her time with you. I always go with her recommendation on what kind of treatment to do, and my skin always looks great after. Her prices aren't too shabby either, I've never had a facial before her, so after visiting her my expectations were very high. One time my friend wanted to go to a facial, and I was a bit hesitant because I already had a great Giselle! But I decided to try it out and there was a promotion. No, never again! I felt it was a waste and they were so rushed and rough during extractions. I will always go back to Giselle, don't doubt your gut. Give her a try, make sure you get an appointment!
