We've been going To Harrys Cafe for a few years now, very friendly employees. Although, last night we had dinner there and the one amd only waitress working was very rude. Not only was she rude when bringing our food over to us ,I also over heard her arguing with on of the cashiers about dividing tips with another waitress ( who wasnt there) and saying " it was fair because other waitress hadn't cleaned shit" . My daughter and I looked at each other on disbelief. This is a Family restaurant, and she clearly is unprofessional. She had this mad expression on her the whole time we had dinner. She clearly isn't happy working there. She needs to find another job. read more

Came to Harry's Cafe today and left a little disappointed. We've been coming here since it opened because we used to live down the street. Today we took a 25 minute ride from riverside to come eat and regretted it since we pulled up. For starters they now have a B rating, which we had never seen before. We ordered our food and proceeded to sit down but more than half the booths were filthy with dirty plates and the food of previous patrons on the tables. We were basically sitting in the dark until we asked for the lights to be turned on; we arrived around sunset. They eventually picked up the booths around us but there was still trash on the floor including dirty napkins. The high chairs available for kids are all basically broken; they're wobbly and screws are missing from some spots that are essential to holding them together or they have broken straps. None of the personnel looked familiar so that might be why the service was off today. Not too sure but don't think we will be coming back. The 3 star rating is because the food didn't disappoint but service was lacking. read more

I really like this diner. Most diners in the area are quantity over quality, but Harrys offers quantity AND quality. I was hesitant on trying this place but im glad i did. Flavorful food and big sharable portions. It has a vast menu, like many diners do. Service is quick and friendly. This place is def worth a try. read more

Got a Pastrami sandwich a couple of days ago and it was good. The zucchini fries were awesome! They weren't too thick just right. Drive thru took a while there were two cars in front of me but it felt like five. Didn't go inside so will try that next. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places to grab a burger and fried zucchini... but they changed their staff who are now argumentative, upped their prices (cost me 45 dollars and change tonight for 5 burgers fries and soda), and the wait was horrendous. 1 star for lack of originality. this place is like every other burger joint that gives you gigantic portions. anybody can cook this crap at home. Not that I dont like burgers fries and big breakfasts, but I like them to taste good. Let me describe their burgers: a hockey puck thin frozen patty charbroiled till its dry as possible then stacked with butt loads of veggies to make it look big and then served with your usual never ending frozen french fry mound. Went after work to get my wife and two girls hamburger specials. Once I arrived home and we took a bite out of the burgers we noticed that the meat on all four were RED! undercooked! I usually go for breakfast every other weekend but since this happen, I will for sure never eat at Harrys Café! They need to fully train their cooks! read more

Recommended by a family member that this spot was delicious for breakfast, so I thought that maybe I try it out for dinner and it turns out it was actually really delicious. Ordered a steak sandwich medium with crisy zucchini. After my 1st experience I been a returning customer because service was pleasant ,clean place and cooks are great. My family lives in the area and comes here quite often, the food is Delish and the cooks do not skimp on the servings . It's a very clean and inexpensive place to eat . My girlfriend and i have driven by Harry's for the past year and have never stopped.Today Vallentines day we decided to give it a try for breakfast. The parking lot was full but found a spot right in front. We ordered breakfast, I had a Denver omlette and she had a Mushroom omlette with potatoes,toast and iced tea. The food wasn't bad, there was enough potatoes for two people. One problem was a 35 min. wait to get served after we placed the order. The other problem was when i went to the restroom to take a pee. I opened the door and right in front of me was the toilet full of you know what. The floor was wet and i don't think it was water. I went to the urnal and then to wash my hands. The sink was dirty the faucet was dirty, luckly they had disfectant soap which i used generously and then left. While walking out there were three women waiting to use thier restroom when a women came out and said you don't want to go in there the toilets are full and the floor is a mess, They left without using it. Ive been there a few times and was happy with the food, but the last couple of times I have been very upset. First off the service from the women there is terrible. I walked in with no welcome and was given additude. And today I ordered a chicken burrito plate with a side of rice and beans, it was the same disgusting rice and beans that were in the burrito. No flavor no sauce inside and very dissapointing. I will not be going back there ever again. $7.00 for a pile on my plate. No thanks. read more

I made a 20 dollar purchase, and when I asked for a side of ranch, the owner went off on one of the employees for not charging me for it. If the business is relying on the profits of a 25 cent side of ranch, then they might as well close. If they cannot afford to give their customers a (25 cent) side of ranch after they have made a 20 dollar purchase, then they should close the restaurant.; because it is only a matter of time before they go out of business. The owner should realize that in business, a short term profit (25 cents) is not worth losing a loyal customer. Especially one that has been doing business in the local community for over 20 years.. This place is cheap and is trying to nickel and dime their customers. I will never come back to this place. read more

I have eaten there a few times with friends for lunch. I haven't had a meal that I really liked yet. The onion rings were awful. They tasted like they had been frozen and reheated in an oven. One time I had a hamburger and the bun had a chemical smell to it. They do give you a lot of food...but if you can't eat it, what is the point. read more

COUNT YOUR CHANGE!!!!! Unfortunately I am giving a 1 star rating due to a customer service experience. I have always found the food to be good and the pricing reasonable. One trip through the drive thru I paid with a $20 and only received $3 in change. (my order only totaled around $6). I quickly alerted the female to come back to the window to correct my change. I was given my correct change and I chalked it up to a simple honest mistake. Several months later; I went to the drive thru again and ordered a plate around $6. Again I gave the cashier (I would bet money it was the same girl) a $20 bill and again she tried to short me $10!!!! Ok- now I feel like this was not an 'honest mistake'. I alerted her again and just like clockwork she gave me the correct change and barely mumbled a 'sorry about that'. This time I spoke with the manager in the drive thru. I told him this was the second time this happened to me and I don't think this was accidental. I do not appreciate someone trying to rip me off! I'm not sure what is going on here but I told him I will not be back. You just lost a customer. Please get your act together and hire ethical people!! read more

I went there with my family to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning and while eating the steak and eggs I ordered I found a hair in my food, I was about 30% done with my food btw. I told one of the ladies there and they took my food and told the cooks to make me another because of this incident. Well it took like 20 mins to receive my food so everyone I was with was already done and ready to leave and when I got home to open the take home box they gave me I only saw a piece of steak in there and that's all they really gave me. I had more than half of my food still on the plate before I found the hair and I think they're cheap for just giving me the steak and not the rest of the food I purchased. Went today and I asked how much extra would it be to upgrade my drink and they made such a issue . It took about 5 employees to give different answers and when asked to speak to the manager the new girl said he wasn't there. When he was sitting down in one of the tables???? Then when i asked for my change the girl was clueless . Common sense would tell you to open the register and count back and give the differance! That did not happen she gets another co- worker tells her the whole situation from start to finish why I was there and then tells her I don't know how much change to give back? 4 cents!!!!!! I then ask another employee that I want to speak to the manager and when he gets up he goes to the employees first and they of course clear their name. So for the 3 rd time I ask to speak to the manager he finally comes and he is taking the employee's side saying he couldn't upgrade the drink becuz it was a kid's meal. Nobody was disputing that my reason was it should have not taken so many employees to figure out a answer .The manager did not seem to give a rat's ass how annoyed I was and said sorry and walked away. Thank you for ruining what was suppose to be a nice dinner with family. Fire your employees and sell your business!!!! Never again!!! read more
