The pharmacists, cashiers, and clerks are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. If you need pet food, ice cream, bottled or canned drinks, toys, surgical supplies, candy, personal care items OR medicines, this is the place to come. It's conveniently located in a strip mall so if you need to do other shopping while you wait for a prescription, you can (dry cleaning, dog supplies, an Urgent Care, a few restaurants, etc.). I can't say enough positive things about Vienna Rexall. Long may it last!

I was told to come to this location to pick up medication for my sick dog. It had already been an…read moreincredibly stressful weekend so I was just ready to get him the pain meds he needed and call it a week. When I received a phone call from them, I spoke with an incredibly rude woman. It was obvious English wasn't her first language as I could barely understand her. But the worst part was that the entire time, she seemed to be giggling either at what I was saying or to whom ever was next to her. It was to the point I asked her, "What's so funny" to which I was met with silence. Considering you're a pharmacy, you should expect the people you call to be experiencing difficult or at least abnormal times in their lives but you're going to sit their and laugh while you're on the phone with them?. What a sour experience this was.

This was my first visit to this CVS location. I came by to pick up an online order. The employees…read moreweren't necessarily enthusiastic, but were present and took their time. The manager was friendly, apparently I had spoken to him on the phone when requesting them to hold my order until the day I was able to come. Once he found out I was there to pick up the package, he happily told the employee to check out the items for me. The store itself looked large, but definitely aged. I didn't even think to walk around and check out the sales, like I normally would when I visit a CVS. I mostly just wanted to walk out of there immediately...mostly to beat traffic. There is plenty of parking available, shared by other stores in the shopping center. If I do return, I'll be sure to check out the aisles and take pictures!

This does not usually happen for inoculations. The staff, including the brown haired young guy are just attitudinal. Sad to say, they carry themselves like they are intelligent, they are not. They always have six people working but ignore people in the unnecessary line. I don't think they would smile at a baby. They tried charging me $150 for something. I told them the amount was incorrect. The technician tells me I'm wrong. The pharmacist gets on the phone then tells me I'm wrong. I tell her not to speak to me with an attitude. I call my insurance company they tell me that she is wrong. I call them leave a voicemail. After an hour in get a callback saying "we were able to get your price down." Yes to the exact price I said it should be No apologies.

For the most part it's well stocked, and the Mile long receipts are optional thankfully. Parking for the area is pretty decent. Usually I can get a spot. It's like Tysons busy, and lines are part of the equation. The employees are pretty cool folks there. I also commend CVS for no tobacco products. That's how a health related store should be!

My family and I have been loyal patrons of Generation Pharmacy for several years, but that ended…read moretoday. Last week Monday, I called to inquire about a specific brand of medication. The representative I spoke with was curt and told me they would never offer that brand and to call other pharmacies. I said okay and asked them to not fill the prescription. After a few days of calling around, I found out CVS offered the medication so I contacted my doctor to have the prescription sent there. That same day, a package of the wrong brand arrived at my home from Generation - they filled the prescription without my permission and it was on a Friday after they closed so I could only leave a message. On Monday, a different rep called me back and said it was autofilled by their system, even though there was a note with my request to not fill the prescription. This rep offered to send someone to retrieve the incorrect meds and reassured me that my insurance would not be impacted; even though they had already billed my insurance for the meds they sent me. She transferred my prescription to CVS and the next day when I went to pick it up, CVS informed me that I need to pay out of pocket because my insurance was already billled. Because I needed the medication, I paid for it when typically this is fully covered by insurance. When I called Generation about this, the same, rude rep who I spoke with the previous week answered and was not helpful, placing the blame on the insurance company. While most of their reps are great, I will never go back because of how badly that rep screwed up. While CVS is not the best, they will at least confirm an auto-fill before fulfilling a prescription. What is most frustrating is I called Generation ahead of time and asked them to not fill the prescription and they didn't take any action to remove the auto-fill. I had to pay out of pocket even though I have insurance that would fully cover the cost! Save yourself the headache and find another pharmacy that offers reliable service and better hours.

I was told they needed to file an appeal with the insurance, but they would let me know within a week and call me with an update. 4 weeks later, with no updates and no medication, I called again. Ended up paying out of pocket because they offered to refile the appeal and call me back. In July, another prescription was called in for my son. Same process, was told they would have to call in a prior authorization. I was promised they would call me within a week to give me a status update regardless. 4 weeks later and we are now in August, still no update, no meds, no calls. I call and they say I have to reach out to the doctors office. Just absolute liars and despicable service. Go anywhere else.

This pharmacy has gone downhill so bad that it amazes me they still have customers. I have been a customer at this store for more than 15 years. They used to be notable for having every type of medication in stock and being close to the hospital it was a bonus that they were 24 hours. Now you can't even talk to a human on the phone. You have to leave a message and play phone tag with them for three days when you are sick. The hospital ordered medications for me and I went to get them before going home. They didn't fill my antibiotic- the most important medication in there and didn't bother to mention it to me when I picked up my prescriptions. When I looked it up it said it was too soon to refill- this is a medication I have never taken before in my life so I have now missed a day on this medication while I wait for them to call me. I have a life threatening infection and you would think they would tell me when I picked up the others so we could figure it out then. They clearly value revenue over customers health and they have techs and clerks running around who don't have a clue what customer service is. It seems their only concern is getting the line down so they can go back to counting pills. The customer service is atrocious even on a good day. 10 years ago this would have never happened but they have become so irresponsible and robotic they may as well hire baboons to run the counter. Baboons would probably smile once in awhile and pretend to care. Sadly, I know that CVS couldn't care less if they lose a customer but they have lost one in me. I'll take a mom and pop or even a Walgreens over this cvs any day. Until they get someone killed they won't care and even then it's questionable.
