I was a potential new customer until I received a notification from my bank that my credit card was used after I purchased my groceries. Someone had spent $75.77 on my card. Then I received, the next day another notification that $26.27 was spent online at Walmart. The person, male, black hair: medium length, about 6' 1", some acne on his neck, he used a hand-held tablet to sign me up for a Vic card. Which at that time I had wallet out so I suspect that he somehow scanned and got my credit card number. As a senior citizen it is my duty to help protect other senior citizen shoppers. I have been going to this store since it opened in Boone. That is one place I miss the most since moving to GA. The staff is always so friendly and they have everything in stock! Good selection but every time I shop there, no matter what time it is, they seem to be stocking the shelves. It makes it hard to navigate when you have a large cart and small kids. Also several of employees stocking make you feel like you are really putting them out by trying to get around them. Great produce and deli but will probably shop elsewhere read more

This store is pretty nice, but the lines get really long at peak hours (minus 1 star). They have a lot of free samples given out by super friendly staff. Yesterday I was in the right place at the right time and got offered a free small slice of pimento cheese pizza. I had never tried that flavor before and was surprised how tasty and fresh it was. The sub station in the deli behind the Asian bar is on point! My Italian sub was delicious and perfectly made. If you haven't had their subs, you've got to try them out. Harris Teeter stands up against most sub places in town. On Footlong Friday's all whole subs are $5.99, and they are HUGE! read more

I love their friendly customer service, and their crab legs too, but last time I went, we brought crab legs, we opened them at home, and they stunk up the whole house! We brought them back, we got double refunds, and frozen crab legs! You got my vote, Harris Teeter! (at least part of it) read more

I cannot speak for other Harris Teeters. Most part, this is a pretty fair grocery store. I use to go here quite often for their prices, but deli and vegetables here not of good quality, unless you shop for organic items, in which case they are fine. The organization of Harris Teeter is odd as they should have all produce items together far from all the processed food sections. If you are looking quality, fresh food, you may need to look elsewhere. We have shopped for several produce items that have gone bad quickly if not bad already on the shelves. If you shop for seafood, be careful as much of it is bad. Prices are good compared to other grocery stores and it looks pretty "nice" inside. Customer service is great! read more

I've been going here for about 6 months due to work proximity and convince, but the cashiers are never friendly (can I at least get some eye contact?), the deli sandwich section tastes like its a week old, and they won't accept an ID unless you're from NC, which I have no control over. Have yet to have a good experience in 6 months with this place :( read more
