Having been a fan of Harris Ranch pot roasts since about 2010 when Costco carried them, I had occasion to stop at Harris Ranch restaurant a few months ago. My wife has the pot roast there and it was absolutely excellent. Just a few days ago I ordered 4 one pound pot roasts online. Last night I stove top cooked one by putting it sliced in about 3/4 inch size into a frying pan with added water up to the top of the slices of pot toasted, along with the juice from the package. Added a small sprinkle of salt and on medium heat allowed the mixture to come to a slight simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes . Served the pot roast slices in small bowls with the juices from the frying pan. Absolutely wonderful!!! The cost of the 4 packages (4 pounds) was $69. Works out to $17.50 for a wonderful meal. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice and any other veggies you like. These pot roasts are going to be in my refrigerator for a quick delicious meal. read more

My husband and I got steak and lobster. Steak was just so, so. The lobster was so dry and overcooked. I got fries and they were cold. Bloody Mary wasn't anything special. I was passing by the guard shack and the supervisor whose name i believe is delila or dalia something like that and overheard her yelling at the other guards. I overheard her talking to one of the male guards about their weight and laughing at them telling them they would be happier if they lost a little weight which in my opinion isn't something a supervisor should say to her employees. I could tell the guard was very uncomfortable and upset but looked nervous to say anything back to her. Harris Ranch is this what you allow your supervisors to say to their employees? it's disgusting and overall wrong because she doesn't know what those people are going through they're just out here trying to make a living like everyone else and you're allowing people like her to supervise. He had a saying about all the new 'butchers' that arrived each day: 1 day butchers because by the end of the day they couldn't cut the speed or were in the ER getting stitched up and were never seen again. Tonight we decided for a cook out with Friends because the weather is beautiful here in Bay Area, CA. All went well until we started to take bites of our hamburgers. The meat was terrible, it tasted as it was old or had gone bad. My family and our friends ended up filling up on the sides only and we were really let down by your product. I am a Harris Ranch fan and always try to buy your beef because it's local to my state and we know what you do for the community but I have been left with a sour taste in my mouth both figuratively and literally. I use to go here when I was kid coming from San jose. And it always has been delicious. Went there recently this sunday still the same as ever. The prices are really high but as is expected since the quality of food and surroundings. But I really wanted to say is their customer service is amazing. I forgot my purse there! Called and security had it. Armando was so helpful and professional. They were able to mail it to me! Explaining to me what the steps are. Since it was a holiday I figured it would take a little longer to get a response from shipping. So I called security again the next day. Ron helped me so much from making sure it was sent and then calling me back to give me the tracking number. Very grateful for the help! read more

You literally could not give me their beef after seeing the conditions it is raised in. The amount of stress hormones in the meat must be off the chart unhealthy. I Love this place!! They have the best beff i have ever tasted!! There prices are high but totally worth it!

If there was a choice for no stars that's what I would have chosen. We have eaten there twice and both times were awful. I agreed to try it a second time hoping the first was a fluke No such luck. Unfortunately if you are on I5 and hungry and want something that is not fast food, there are not a lot of choices. The service both times was terrible. We were there for almost 3 hours. Both times required food being sent back and we never ended getting the food cooked how it was requested. Harris Rach, ummmm how do I describe them. First off our hostess was rude, she was a young girl who was on her cell phone when we first got there and she told us to hold on while she finished her text. Then she made us wait a few moments when she went to go grab a guy who ended up seating us. He was nice, but as we had never been to this place before it was taking us longer to figure out what we were going to order. He came back one more time as we said we still did not know what we wanted but our drinks. I ordered a drink from the bar my teenage child got the fresh made soymilk (which was FANTASTIC) and my friend ordered a soda. The guy then ignored us and took forever to come over to brink us our drinks. He walked by us many times and did not look at us as if he was avoiding us. We had known what we were going to order for quite some time now but it was getting really annoying how long we had to wait. Finally after about 25 minutes he came back with our drinks and took our orders. My child ordered one of the most expensive meats on the menue. She specifically asked for it medium well, I do no not remember what my friend ordered but it to was a very expensive piece of meat. I wish this place offered more chicken for people who don't eat meat. I believe there were only 2 items on the menue that offer chicken. Now the chicken I ordered was so dry and the sauce that went with it was good but I did not eat the chicken. You could chew forever like bubble gum on one bite. NOW with my child's meat they brought it to her bloody, so we sent it back and had to wait even longer in this place as I am done and not enjoying my food at all. When they final brought my daughters order back it was still wrong but at that point she didn't care cause she was so hungry. I know my friend had complained to me about his food but he did not want to make more drama so he just ate his food. I don't know what's going on with the cooks if they were just short staffed of haveing a bad day but then why was the server and hostess rude to. This was not a weekend, this place was not crowded at all. To the 3 of us there was no reason we should have gotten this kind of service on a slow day like that. I would be willing to go back just to see if things would be different but it will be a long time before I do that. read more
