We are proud of the fact that we have received multiple full insurance approvals in the cases when our clients were previously denied or partially approved for some ridiculously insignificant amounts. Upon your request, we can offer: a list of addresses where we've installed new roofs, allowing you to speak directly with your neighbors and witness the quality of our work; a preliminary free inspection covering the roof, gutters, downspouts, siding, and accessories. This will help us more accurately assess your chances for a successful claim. Full Inspection Photo Report will be immediately emailed to you after the inspection; a brief free analysis of your insurance policy to ensure sufficient coverage without any hidden provisions that could lead to claim denial or inadequate payments by the insurance company. Besides, for your peace of mind, you can verify all our licenses on the official website of the Illinois Department of Insurance. Additional useful information can be found on our websites. I am the kind of person that never buys anything without reading the reviews first (I'm in the…read moreprocess of purchasing a lot of stuff now, details to follow). So, if you're reading this, we have something in common. I will try and be as succinct as possible (almost impossible for me) The date was September 26, 2024. I live in Saint Petersburg Florida and the reports were coming in that hurricane Helene would hit my area. I have been living here for 8 years, so after living through 8 years of hurricane seasons and hearing about the big one that would hit Tampa Bay this year, I shrugged my shoulders and decided to stay in my house. That evening the winds were blowing the waves in the bay crashing against the sea walls. No big deal, I've seen it before. My wife, my dog and I were all tucked in bed safely knowing that my full house generator would kick in if the winds got too bad. All of a sudden, I started getting cold and wet and realized that there was water up to the top of my bed. UH OH. At day break after the hurricane subsided and I was able to get to my front door. I realized that we had over 3 feet of water in the house. This was the most catastrophic event in my life and in Tampa Bays life. I quickly called my friends to come and rescue us. My cars were flooded and we were trapped. My brother called me that morning to see how we were doing. One of his best friends is a 20+ year retired public adjuster (I had never even heard of one). His exact words to me were... "Don't even think about dealing with your insurance company without hiring a public adjuster". He gave me Ron's number at A. Schoeneman & Co. This had to be the best advice I had ever gotten from my big brother (I am in my 60's); I could not imagine dealing with all of this without the help of Ron and his team. I watched all of my friends going crazy dealing with their insurance companies (writing lists of their stuff etc....) I also listened to some of the settlements they were getting. How would I rebuild? Ron's team came to my house the day my insurance companies' adjuster was there to evaluate my losses. The details of my belongings being logged for hours upon hours. Once I saw the report that Ron and his team submitted to my insurance company, I finally was able to breath. The details were astounding! Finally, the settlement came in. It was pretty much exactly what I "valued" my belongings at. So, if you jumped to the end of this review. Here is my recommendation to you. If you made it through your catastrophic event and are ready to call your insurance company. Stop reading this and pick up the phone and Call A. Schoeneman & Co. you will not be sorry. This is what they do. They speak insurance (trust me you don't)! I have given Ron permission to give out my phone number if you want to speak to me about my experience.

I wish we had done more due diligence before working with MLM. Unfortunately, after a traumatic…read moreevent a normal reaction is wanting to act as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. And MLM preys on people in these situations. We had a fire in our building in March 2022 which displaced all units. The majority of insurance cost was going to be covered by the HOA insurance policy, which is why the unit holders agreed to work with the same company, MLM, to represent our interests. Mark Musick owns MLM and other businesses related to loss management, one of which is AEmergency Services which packs up, cleans, and stores belongings. So AEmergency came in and boxed up all of our stuff - and the price to pack and store our belongings totaled more than $17K! In this invoice, they added an extra day of work that never even took place - the first of many items MLM didn't document accurately. Now getting to the demo. MLM did not submit the paperwork needed to get a building permit until July, which was then granted in August. So 4 months after being displaced and the permit to start demo was issued. You'd think the demo/construction would finally begin - wrong. We returned to Chicago in September and came to see that absolutely no work had been started. Only after I had to call Mark personally did MLM start demoing in September. After months of back and forth over phone/email, his team was finally working on rebuilding. We had to go to our unit every day to check on progress or else NOTHING ever got done. One day my husband went over to the unit and Mark's team was sitting in our living room watching the world cup ALL DAY. I called Mark after being, at this point, frustrated and was told by him that it's like the superbowl and this was normal. He then called my husband and said "your wife just called me in hysterics and we need to talk 'man to man'". This will be the first of many sexist remarks/actions made by Mark throughout our working relationship. Another piece was the money - because we were buying materials ourselves and working with our own contractor for finishes, we needed the money that was owed to us for materials/labor from MLM that they received directly from the insurance company. We know it is work to go through each line item for everything that is paid out, but that is LITERALLY THEIR JOB and what they were paid to do, and they were incompetent at it. We spent more than 30 hours of our own time reviewing the documentation they sent us to go through each line item they owed us money for. We always found mistakes and money they were hiding from us. Which brings me to the worst meeting we had with Mark and Brian. All the emails and calls back and forth were going nowhere, so we set a date to go to MLM's office to finalize the amount they needed to cut us a check for. The difference between the money Travelers gave MLM and the money MLM said we were getting was over $10K and MLM refused to explain why. After 15 minutes I asked one question on why they don't keep receipts for trash disposal and Mark immediately became angry and belligerent. After Mark started getting angry I asked him - sarcastically - if he'd like me to leave so he could stay and talk 'man to man' with my husband and Brian alone. Mark verbatim said 'it's like talking to two women anyway' and Mark proceeded to leave the room. My husband told him to return so we could finish the meeting and get our check. Mark then tried to PHYSICALLY get in a fight with my husband in the lobby of his business. After all of this, Brian sat with us and we were just so distraught and upset at this point we took the check and left. So to summarize: MLM is an unprofessional company that takes on way too many jobs and will never make you and your home a priority. Mark Musick is sexist and one of the worst people I've had to deal with in a professional capacity. You will spend more time yourself having to deal with them than they are worth 'saving you time' working with the insurance company directly.
