Even better, they come to your hose to pick up your system (which is invaluable to stay/work-at-home parents). Mike Ulloa, the owner, arrived promptly as scheduled at my house to pick up my broken PS3. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it (power supply, yellow light of death, or motherboard!), but Mike assured me that they could fix it, regardless of the issue. He wasn't boasting. Not only did my PS3 come back as good as new, Mike was more than willing to answer my frequent questions and fill me in on how the repair on my PS3 was coming. Having dealt with Sony's PS3 repair service, this was a blessing for me. Mike explained that my system's power supply was okay, and that they needed to re-ball (resolder) the processing chips. However, he called a day later to let me know that the problem was more serious. Still, Mike held to his original estimate for repairing my system, replacing the motherboard and re-balling the processor chips all for $175 (make sure you get the coupon from their website). Even though Getteck does hundreds of repairs, I felt like Mike took a personal interest in my work order. You'll never get that level of customer service from Sony. Also, just like Sony, Mike said that Getteck guarantees the repairs it makes. And Mike is local! If you need PS3, game system, or PC repairs, you can't go wrong with this company.
