The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. Coffee grounds in the machine - 3 minutes. Milk in the cup - 3 minutes. Conversation with a co-worker about filling the coffee machine later - 5 minutes (in the middle of my order). There were hamburgers and fries ordered after my coffee that came out first. The final straw was watching them add 6 coffees worth of chocolate syrup to finish it off (they had already added enough for one drink 12 minutes earlier). Wind chimes, incense, mugs, toys, clothes, kitchen gadgets, paintings, candles, etc. It really had something for everyone. The cashier was very nice and offered assistance while also allowing us privacy to shop without feeling like we were being watched. My only suggestion would be for more souvenir items specific to VT. There were a few but not many. I was able to find some silly things - a VT tic tac toe board and a small map of VT puzzle. There were bottle openers as well, but that wouldn't have been suitable for the friends we were getting gifts for. My son bought himself a multi-tool pen and little notepad.
