I love how similar they turn out but each participant puts their own twist on their creation by choosing colors or varying cuts and choosing placement. I am 100% a non-artistic/Craft person. Although I struggled and was usually behind, my stained glass ended up being beautiful. And the staff were so helpful to me. I ordered an Odyssey woodbine Lamp kit from Harmony Stained Glass - what amazing service!! These lamp forms, especially the woodbine one, are not easy to find. Joyce was amazing at communicating information as well as updates. With all the supply chain issues and the fact it is such a niche product, Joyce was on top of the entire process and kept me informed and went out of her way to find the quickest way to get the product to me. The cherry on top was the cap and several articles/infos that were thrown in to help me out as a thank you for my patience. I am very glad I found Harmony Stained Glass. For years I had wanted to learn how to work in stained glass but had never made the time. Finally in September 2013 I took their weekend-long "boot camp" class and walked out Sunday evening with my first piece. I highly recommend it for anyone who's busy. It was a great and fun experience. Since then I have done four more projects and Joyce and all of her employees there (Cindy especially) have been great to work with and willing to share advice. Although I haven't taken advantage of them yet they also offer a lot of different classes such as an intermediate stained glass class, mosaics, fusing and things for all skill levels. I can't rave enough about the stellar experience I had at Harmony Stained Glass. My sister and I signed up for a glass fusion course, and we had a fantastic time with this hands-on course. Our instructor, Joyce, really went above and beyond to help us and make our lesson fun. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great teacher. When my sister's glass piece had an accident in the kiln, Joyce let us come in and remake the item for free! She really took a lot of time to show us what to do, and she had a fantastic attitude (as do all the fine people who work there). We can't wait to head back soon for even more classes - they offer everything from stained glass, glass fusion, glass mosaic tiles, and more! Love the Friday Recess Fusing classes. Love doing projects there on my own with Shop Time. Staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Harmony is a wonderful resource for glass artists. It is well stocked and the owner Joyce and employees know about everything from stained glass and fused glass to mosaics. It is a joy to go into a store and have people who want to help and not just sell items. I was even told on one item that I did not need it and they recommended a tool which has proven to be excellent for what I need at half the cost. I visited Harmony Stained Glass to try to match a broken pane from our antique front door. As I couldn't find my carefully saved original pieces, all I had was an iPhone picture of the door with daylight beyond. From this minimal data, the texture style of the original glass was identified but was not currently available in any color but clear. (Mine was a lovely blue). However, Harmony had glass near the required color with textures that I might find acceptable. With their help I was shown through all possible glass candidates in their considerable stock, and guided by my impressions of each, they led me to one that struck me right. It was cut to size and neatly packaged to travel. Best of all, after installation, the new glass was hardly noticeable to my very critical eye. Well done. read more

I have been to Harmony several of times to try new projects and experiment with new ideas and mediums. I find help every time I walk in the door. I have been to a few classes and any time I want to change something or make it different and unique, I am encouraged and given extra time and help and TAUGHT something about what I am doing. I think this is a great place to learn a lot and practice all the things that are new...someone will help you fix it if it is not the way you want it. I wish I could give 0 stars. I bought a Groupon last month and just got someone to answer the phone today. I was unable to leave a message because there mailbox was full. When I finally got someone to answer, they only had one class open for March and I work that day. The person I spoke to, Joyce, was very rude and said they always answer the phone and they don't allow customers to leave a message b/c they're too busy to return calls. Obviously they don't answer their phone if I was unable to speak with someone for a lost 2 months. This is not the right way to own a business if you ask me. read more

I ordered two items from this in-state supplier, and needed the items quickly. So, I paid for FedEx shipping. Arbitrarily, the store chose to send the items Priority Mail instead -- while still charging me the FedEX rates! They justified their actions stating that both methods would take 3 days within state. When I demanded a refund in the difference in shipping charges, I am told "Fine!" -- and received the money in cash via mail (BEFORE the products arrived, ironically). Cannot believe this place remains open with such questionable business practices. My order took 6 days to arrive. Consumer, you have been forewarned. read more

I placed and order online and waited for its arrival. And waited. And waited. While I was charged the first day, almost 4 weeks later I finally called. Joyce told me that it was all wrapped up, ready to go, but someone forgot to mail it. So sorry. It was mailed Priority the next day, shipping was over $11 and I still didn't get it until 4 days later. I asked for a refund for the shipping charge. Sorry, wouldn't shop there again. read more
