Only problem was I got the closing time wrong for Saturday. I arrived past 5pm thinking they remained open til 6pm. Nope. Closed already. A guy (non-employee) who helped direct me to the market and opened the door for me found they were closed but then let me know the employee was going to let me in. This employee was Pat. Talk about being ultra kind. She let me shop and even helped me with what products to buy -- like the onion and watermelon. Thank you, Pat!

It included picking a bouquet of flowers, a vase, two glasses of wine and a cheese box. When you arrived everyone was very friendly and check-in was easy. You started with a hay ride and then off to pick flowers. They do events like this often, so definitely check them out! We also got to see and feed the goats. A friend asked me if I would like to go out to get some berries. We got there after berry picking time for the day, which closed around 2 PM, but there was still plenty of time to buy berries in their market, freshly picked by their workers, and enjoy other fun things at the farm! We fed the goats, who were the sweetest, tamest goats I have ever met. (Frankly, they completely changed my opinion about goats, with which I have had some unpleasant memories in the past.) You can pay a quarter for some food and feed it to them by hand, and not a single one took it from me anything less than gently. There is also a super cute feature where you can send some food up to goats standing at the top of the pen via a pulley system. There were several baby goats here when we visited and they were ridiculously adorable. From there it was a stop at the café window where we ordered strawberry lemonade slushies that were an absolute delight. It was late in the day and they were out of several of the food offerings; I was told by my friend that the hot pretzel is fantastic, but didn't get to find out. So I went with some freshly made donuts, and it was only a few dollars for half a dozen blueberry donuts. They are wonderful eaten fresh just like this, but when you take them home you can heat them up for 10 seconds to get that just-out-of-the-oven taste. Finally we stopped in the shop which is full of all kinds of home, pantry and fresh food items. I came home with a pint of raspberries, a big bunch of strawberries (last of the season!), jars of pickled beets and bread and butter pickles, and a block of baby Swiss cheese. Everything has been absolutely fantastic and it would be easy to go absolutely wild in this store. Lots of events here during different seasons, especially apple and pumpkin season in fall which is their busiest time. After that they close for the year at Halloween. Come out and pick some berries or fresh lavender here this summer! It's a local gem.

The giant slides were fun for kids and adults, so many photo op spots, and the layout of everything was what really sold this for me. It was PACKED - but never felt crowded. Back at the market (where you catch the hay ride) they had Roaming Bean coffee truck, Kona ice, mini donuts and so much more. A great afternoon for families, kids and adults! The maze is a huge picture! As you explore, you can try to sketch the paths. The answer is shown at the end, but it's a secret (and new each year) so I won't post any photos of our sketches. They do post previous years mazes on their website and social media, though. When we visited, there were also hayrides available, lots of snacks and beverages at reasonable prices, and a booth from a local Orchard which had apples, apple dumplings, and apple cider. The place is beautiful during the day and when it gets dark. I'd suggest bringing the flashlight or two if you plan to visit after the sun sets. There were lots of people working at the maze and everyone was exceptionally friendly. The maze was challenging and a lot of fun.

For $12-$14 you get a hayride up to the top and down when you're done. At the top they include access to the cornmaze, pumpkin patch, and (small) sunflower field with the hayride admission. They even had goats, sheep, pigs, and donkeys up there! It was a long tractor hayride too which was pretty entertaining seeing all the fall decorations. A large pavilion with a lot of shade was available for rest, along with games on the lawn like cornhole and frisbee. They also serve alcohol (beer, sangria, etc) near the pavilion. The sangria was actually super refreshing. 10/10 would recommend coming for one of the fall festivals!

You get to see the female alpacas first (about a herd of 8 of varying ages), then the males. Each paid guest receives a cup of food to feed the alpacas (save some for the males!). Bring a napkin/hand sanitizer because the alpacas like to lick up every last morsel from the palm of your hand, and some may spit at you! There's also fun games in the field, including a large giant slide for both adults and kids, a flat bouncy area, a fenced area for bouncing on some oversized balls, a tug-of-war, and other activities.
