I lost the paperwork so they said they had to verify what i was telling them with there computer. it took them 45 min to come with the same conclusion and they charged me 62.00. and the boss pretty much called me a liar and we got into an argument cause they said the emissions test couldn't tell me that much info. Then i said how would i know then. I paid the 62.00 even though i didn't want to and declined they repair services. I do not recommend this auto repair. they are moving there location soon to off of route 40. beware and double check there pricing if you do go. hopefully this helps someone else from getting over charged.

Just the way they talk(anyone who works there), you understand immediately that they know what they are doing. Oil change, air filters, all belts and pulleys plus a light bulb in left headlight. Amazing is also that they had all parts in stock. Btw Sharret Automotive told me they can't do the belts and pulleys because the car is too complicated. Do not let the looks of their building mislead you, these guys are masterminds. Highly recommend this place. Going back there next week for some more maintenance.

Literally walked into their garage with a tire and a nail lodged in it. Rather than using it as an excuse to sell me a tire (which I said I needed), they told me they could repair it for a fraction of the price. And they did. Within 30 minutes of me entering their garage, they removed the nail, repaired the tire, put it back on my car (and removed the donut), and filled ALL of my tires to the recommended PSI. I don't live in Hagerstown, but if I did, this is the only garage I would go to. Honest mechanics with honest prices. If you live in or near Hagerstown, do yourself a favor and GO HERE.

Conveniently located, very clean and impressively maintained. I'm an electronics technician by trade and do some minor maintenance and repairs on my own vehicles. I was concern with a clunking that seemed to be coming from the front passenger side when I hit a bump. When I needed other work I'd ask in a "by the way' fashion, if they would also check for the source of that noise. And every time they'd fix something for between $100-$130, but the noise would linger. I know noise problems can be tricky, so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they'll get it the next time. Finally, after 3 or 4 years and may $700 or $800 I mentioned to the receptionist that over the years they never fixed my noise problem. She conveyed it to Scott in the back and he when off. Totally offended, like I insulted his integrity. Ok, at this point I'm not sure if they'd been bilking me or maybe it was repetitive misdiagnosis or incompetence, but I knew I needed a new shop. So, I when to Sears Automotive and they found it to be a lower control arm (worn bushing). Fast-forward to my next vehicle, a couple years later, my emergency brake wasn't holding the weight of the vehicle when parked on a hill. I explained the problem to Scott and he told me that was normal. Any automotive technician knows that without the emergency brake engaged the tiny transmission pawl singularly holds a large portion of the weight of the vehicle and if it should give (which it will eventually) you're looking at big bucks in transmission repair, not to mention possibly collision damage. This time I when to Carmax, they fix it, stating it was stuck, due to stubborn rust. $61.00. We'll, that's my experience. Hope you can gleam from it.

One of the modifications was the installation of an external oil cooler, which is always a good idea, but I think they also installed what hot-rodders call a "shift kit". I wish they hadn't done this. It shifts very hard, particularly 2-3 and 3-4. I'll bet that this thing lasts the 25k warranty, but my motor mounts and CV joints probably won't :( If you use this shop, ask about the pros and cons of any potential modifications they will be performing.

Upon arriving, David said "I can't do anything, take it to a dealer and it's $140 because we hooked it up to a scanner" - He never called to ask if this was okay and explain to this NOVICE customer if she was willing and able to pay $140 for the evaluation. He also made her wait in the lobby for 25 minutes prior to giving her the fabulous news! Incredibly disappointing!
